First week is gonna be pinups for me, after which I'll figure out whether I wanna do character polls or user suggested stuff or whatever for the remaining weeks. Stay tuned! Saw the new TMNT movie. First off, I'm not a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. Never have been. This new movie though? Pretty good! I loved how stylish it looked, and the turtles being a bunch of goofy teens instead of badass super heroes. Also they straight up name drop Attack on Titan to solve the climax of the film, so there's that too. Cheesy, but it got a chuckle out of me. Got my copy of Digimon season 1 on bluray on Friday and popped it in while I worked tonight and watched the first few episodes. Now, I haven't watched the show in over two decades at this point, so I was unprepared for how janky it looked. I mean, it's an early digipaint show, so it's not that unexpected. But WHEW! There's a heck of a buttload of weird ass looking off model character work! Doesn't help that Discotek went and improved the video quality as much as possible, thereby making the weirdness even more pronounced. This show was very much made to be watched on a 13 inch CRT tv halfway across the room as you sat on the floor. NOT on a 27 inch HD monitor right in front of your face.
