Also, in case you haven't noticed, I'm trying out a different method of doing the word balloons. For the longest time I just drew them myself, but in preparation for the new comic (whenever that finally gets going) I'm trying out one of CSP's word balloon tools. Hopefully this will result in a cleaner and more professional look! And hopefully save some headache from straight up drawing them all the time like before. As for the new comic, I'm learning to use Blender to take screenshots of this 3D render of an apartment Cooper made so I won't have to draw backgrounds for most of the time. At the same time we're fiddling around trying to figure out a good method to go about doing it, as the first file I had to work with ran sluggish on the mac mini at work and the line work for some reason kept borking. Later in the day he updated it so it ran smoother and the lines were less broken. Whenever I have something to show I'll post it here.
