This season is the first in a good while that I'm checking out several new shows at one time. Probably helps that they're on crunchyroll with way better looking subtitles than Funimation's closed caption style, which forces me to wait for the dubs on their releases because I hate dealing with it! Here are a couple shows I checked out! Odd Taxi: It's like Zootopia except more real. I like how much the protagonist doesn't give a shit about stuff/sarcastic, along with the interactions between the cast. Felt bad for the two idol girls who had to wear masks for contractorial reasons because they're not as cute as the "lead" girl, then told to go sell unsold merchandise out in the street after a poor selling concert. The conversation between the two were fun in a "This sucks, but what can ya do?" vibe. Those Snow White Notes: High school kid plays shamisen. The shamisen's a cool instrument, so having a show featuring that with its story is pretty neat. Plus you get to hear some cool shamisen playing. Tokyo Revengers: It's Erased! Like, pretty much Erased! Except this time a failure of a dude at 25 years old goes back to his middle school days in the distant past of 2005! Resident Evil 4 and Shadow of the Colossus came out that year! Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved And Took In A High School Runaway: High school girl runaway winds up staying with a random late 20s salary man after she keeps trying to offer herself to him for sex and he keeps refusing because he doesn't see her that way. But boy does the cameraman sees her that way! This could potentially be a train wreck. Let's Make A Mug Too: The original author really likes a thing and decided to make a story about cute high school girls doing said thing as to get others interested in thing like they do. Pottery edition! Kiyo in Kyoto: From The Maiko House: Cute girls doing geisha. Goes into insight in what geisha actually do while presented in a light hearted/earnest way. It's CG animated, but there's not a whole lot happening that causes the animation to look like crap like a Polygon Pictures show, so it's fine. Zombie Land Saga (Season 2): IT'S A GOOOO. GO GO GO GO GO GO.
