Still no results from the doctor. No idea why it's taking so long. However, I did get another bill from the imaging place from the CT scan back in February! Nothing like getting additional bills many months after the fact! For something completely different: I beat the Kemono Friends picross game on the Nintendo Switch. It was a lot of fun going in there and playing a couple puzzles every night or two. Only ones I didn't bother finishing were the mega picross puzzles because fuck that. I'm too stupid. With that finished, I decided to go back and buy one of the regular Picross games that the same developers had made. And, boy, I'm somewhat disappointed. Sure, it's more picross, but somehow it seems easier than the Kemono Friends one. I guess it's because in Kemono Friends you're making a bunch of pixelated anime faces, so the designs get challenging. Meanwhile regular picross' designs have been pretty simple. A 15x15 puzzle would take me about 7-10 minutes on Kemono Friends with the help of the hint roulette, which answers two lines for me. In regular picross I manage to finish them in less than 5 minutes without the help of the roulette. I even skipped to one of the later ones just to see if maybe they became more difficult, but it didn't seem to be the case. For all I know it could be that by the time I finished Kemono Friends I'd gotten way better at the game, and if I were to go back and redo all those puzzles I'll have little issue. But another disappointment I have is with the presentation. The Kemono Friends version has 2 songs in the entire game. One for the menu, and one for when you solve a puzzle. Severely lacking, I know. But the song during the puzzle mode is really relaxing to help calm your mind while you solve a puzzle. Meanwhile in regular picross it feels like I'm logging into FFXI through Play Online. That kind of futuristic sound? I don't know how to describe it, but it starts to get on my nerves pretty quick. Oh well. There's an Overlord picross game too, but I don't care enough about Overlord to play it. Plus when I looked at videos online the music was irritating to me as well. If the developers could do another picross based around a light hearted anime I'd dive in. Until then I'll cruise through regular picross with the music mute.
