What should be the fate of Severus Snape?

He unwittingly led to the death of countless people including the woman he loved and her husband. But he dedicated his life to bring down Voldemort.
On the other hand, he abused a lot of children in his time as a professor at Hogwarts. He also tried to have Sirius Black killed even after knowing the survival of Peter Pettigrew. So, he is not one to let go of old grudges. He has also used his position of power to bully Harry Potter as a twisted sort of revenge against the deceased James Potter.
Despite all that, he is committed to destroy the Dark Lord.
