Should Storm's End go to Gendry? (In Daeron the Worthy story)
Added 2022-12-11 13:52:10 +0000 UTCAs the last known surviving son of Robert Baratheon, Gendry has blood right on the seat of Storm's End. Do you want Gendry to inherit with the backing of Daeron or do you want Storm's End to go to a supporter of Daeron?

Merging Stormlands is definitely on the table. They are a small region so adding it into the Crownlands is not an issue. But taking the Westerlands might pose a problem. Westerlands is too far away and is considerably large. It needs some local oversight to keep a conducive environment.

2022-12-15 06:18:24 +0000 UTCJon and Dany can merge Stormlands, Crowland, Riverland and Westerland into on province directly under House Targaryen rule and centralise the goverment, military and laws of the region and then slowly expand their grip over all of Westeros. This would of course be a long term generational project for House Targaryen.

Baratheon blood will persist but Westeros will remember that the Baratheons were once bastards as the new stormlord is and that they owe what they are to the targaryens from Orys as hand, Robert as Usurper and Gendry as sign of their mercy and retribution. Well thats my opinion hahaha.

2022-12-13 05:09:10 +0000 UTCI'd like to see Shireen inherit it. Stannis was the one who should have been the Lord of Storm's End in the first place, not Renly. So, I think its Shireen's right to be the lady of Storm's End. Plus, we dont get much fanfics where Shireen takes over Storm's End. I always see Gendry get legitimized just to take Storm's End for himself

I say it would be a safer bet for Jon and Dany to reserve Storm's End for one of their children or just annex the whole region and bring it under their direct control and that of House Targsryen and from their start centralising their their power and goverment
