What should be done with the Thenn clan?
Added 2022-11-07 14:31:42 +0000 UTCThe Thenns are led by Sigorn and they have sworn to follow Daeron. As a military force, they've proved to be a valuable asset for Daeron so far. So, where should they settle?
Giving them Last Hearth would position them close to the other tribes of the Free Folk. On one hand, they all know each other which also means they could amass too much power in the Gift. Or worse, they could engage in more factionalism and war with other tribes.
In the Crownlands, they are directly under the control of House Targaryen. However, there will be friction amongst the Crownland lords as their new neighbours are followers of Old Gods and they are Wildlings.
Giving them Harrenhall ensures a loyal fighting force guards one of the vital positions in Riverlands. The Riverlords are not completely Andalised so to speak. They have lived together with FIRST Men and are not alien to First Men customs. Still, they'd be queasy to accept wildlings as neighbours.

The thenns are both free folk and prideful they’ve chosen to follow Daeron not winterfell so handing off their loyalty would probably backfire. Crown lands are out unless they prove to unruly to trust. So your left with harrenhal
