Which House should take over Highgarden?
Added 2022-10-05 18:34:20 +0000 UTCI think it's relatively obvious that Daeron intends to displace House Tyrell from Highgarden. There is no other way around it as the Reach is too powerful when united and the present generation of House Tyrell is far too connected with many of the stronger Houses in the Reach.
One of the many ideas I have been juggling around in my head was partitioning the Reach but I noticed that plan would actually strengthen the Hightowers. So, I'm going for annexing some land from the Reach into the Crownlands thereby increasing the taxable land directly under the oversight of the Iron Throne.
However, the Tyrells can't be allowed to continue to rule from Highgarden.

I agree with your idea of Daeron annexing part of The Reach into The Crownland. He should also annex the whole Stormlands into the Crownlands increasing the taxable lands directly under The Iron Throne's and thus House Targaryen's direct oversight.
