Theater ๐ŸŒ™โœจ Jo & Laurie Painting Process! ๐Ÿ’•

Hellooo everyone! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Here is the timelapse process for my Jo & Laurie painting! This process was so fun and new for me because I painted on an extra wide canvas which Iโ€™ve never done before, and I definitely want to paint with those dimensions more often now:) Itโ€™s great for capturing a look that feels more cinematic! The dimensions were 4320 x 2264 if youโ€™re curious โ˜บ๏ธโœจ

Be sure to check out this monthโ€™s draw with me video where I sketch this scene in a cozy cafe! โ˜•๏ธ

And if youโ€™d like to see some real-time drawing process of another drawing, check out this video I posted this month ๐Ÿ’˜

I hope you all enj

love,

Lydia ๐Ÿ’Œ

Thanks Esie! โ˜บ๏ธ And I totally understand that feeling! Usually I feel that way when Iโ€™m working on something thatโ€™s requiring more energy/thinking from me than Iโ€™m ready to give at that particular moment, so what I like to do is reset with something more simple :) Iโ€™ll draw something thatโ€™s more in my comfort zone that takes a smaller amount of effort, and it usually ends up boosting my confidence and my trust in my own process! So my advice would be to do a drawing reset like that and enjoy the simple subject matter for a little while, and then work your way up to the drawings that take more time and effort because your motivation will have grown while you were resetting โ˜บ๏ธ I hope that makes sense and good luck!!! ๐Ÿ’—

Itโ€™s amazing! It loooks os whimsical and cinematic ๐Ÿ˜โœจ Would you please have any advice on how to keep the motivation through the process? I always somehow get stuck because it does not look like I would want to, so what do to trust the process and get it all the way to thouse beautifull results?๐Ÿ˜Š

Esie
