WanWan Announcement <3

Hello WanWan Fam!

We are here today to make an announcement. As you guys know this year has hit everyone really hard and we have had to acclimate to a whole new work process. We can’t travel to locations anymore, so we have had to build every set from scratch. We even redecorated and painted our personal room to be able to use it for photos as well so we can have a different setting. WanWan team takes huge pride in our photosets so even tho it’s been harder, we are not gonna let our quality drop. Collaborations have also been impossible, which used to help a lot since the work is then divided as well as expenses. Sadly we even got infected with Covid and were forced to take time off work. It’s been quite intense to try and keep up as if nothing has changed, but in reality a lot has. 

For a long time we have continued pushing ourselves to do more and more, but after a meeting we decided that instead of burning ourselves out to keep up with our crazy quantity, we want to focus on our quality. We’ve had to become a lot more creative and resourceful when it comes to our sets but honestly, not gonna lie, it’s been quite fun to dedicate extra time to the creative process. We no longer just jump into shoots, just cause we need to have something done. We have been sitting down, planning concept for hours or even days, trying to scavenge what we need to build the set, then take another day just for building it and testing out the lighting until we think is adequate (which takes around 2 or 3 hours just to get the lights ready lol), and then, the next day we finally do the shoot. 

Since we started doing that, we have been a lot more happy and impressed with the final result and I’m sure the improvement is pretty obvious with our new sets this month! From Kama’s entire crazy celestial pond in the middle of the backyard during a rainy night to Ishtar’s beautiful lighting set up as well as the special 3D bow that needed a lot of time to be created from scratch and precisely positioned. Everything has been carefully calculated to achieve the best outcome possible. I look at our own photos and my heart is filled with happiness, I’m so damn proud of how beautiful the outcome is. Because of all that, our creative process takes a lot longer, and I want to prioritize that prime result. 

Starting September there will be changes to make all of this possible when it comes to the amount of sets that we do. We have decided that 4 is the maximum amount we can handle under these conditions. So starting the new month the 20 tier will receive 1 HD photoset, the 30 tier will receive 2 and the 50 tier will receive 4. I hope you guys understand our decision and wanted to let you know how thankful we are to have you all. The support and kindness that you guys have shown us during our sick days has just been unmatched and we have nothing but love for all of you. After all, you guys are the ones behind the magic happening in the WanWan world and we are eternally thankful for that. We are completely dedicated to bring you the best of the best.
