Chapter 63: From Stealth to Skirmish
Added 2025-06-10 21:31:28 +0000 UTCVlad, the experienced leader that he was, continued to lead the group at a high pace, with only a mild sweat on his brow, but his breathing remained steady. Todoroki, Monoma, Midoriya, Iida, and Yaoyorozu kept up with little difficulty, while Kaminari, Uraraka, and Jiro followed behind, sweating and huffing but keeping pace.
Mellissa lagged behind them. Despite having tossed aside her heels, she was nowhere near as fit as these hero students, who did much more physical conditioning in a week than she did in a mouth. Mineta was the exception, but more because his smaller legs just couldn't match the strides of the rest, so Iida had to carry him.
Having left the maritime research floor, they climbed another set of stairs before finding the route blocked on the 138th.
“Is that normal?” Todoroki asked Mellissa as they stared at another barrier.
“No, that’s not part of the protocols. It was probably triggered by accident.” Mellisa replied.
Kaminari grumbled as Vlad and Todoroki went to work on the access door again. The two had perfected their little trick.
"Does every floor have barriers?" Uraraka asked as if they kept having to change stairwells with no climb; they'd be stuck doing this for who knew how long.
Mellissa nodded. “They do, and part of the reason is isolation in case of a fire or other contaminant."
“Makes sense,” Monoma added. “When you’re working on breakthroughs in whatever field you fancy, there’s bound to be some accidents or two, or someone just dropped something they shouldn’t have by accident.”
"Let's keep moving, people," Vlad called out, the door open for them. Much like the rest, they closed it behind them and ran, and like so many of the other floors they've seen since the 80th, this was also unique. It didn't have research or other facilities. Instead, it was a giant multi-leveled hall. With massive computer banks to either side of a central path, with elevators on either side that would take one to one of the 3 levels above those, where walkways hugged the computers, with bridges connecting them.
They had made it halfway through when they heard a switch, and the door in front of them opened to reveal a flood of security robots.
“The security drones?” Mellisa called out as at least 3 dozen came in, with more following after them.
“What the heck? What are they doing here?” Mineta asked.
"We've been made," Vlad grunted, creating a blood kite shield and spiked mace.
“Stand back, I’ll incinerate these guys.” Midoriya started heating up, taking a deep breath with plans to char everything against them, but Mellisa stopped him.
"Hold on, you can't use big moves in here. If you damage these servers, it could affect the island's security system." He clamped his jaw shut, trapping the heat buildup and only releasing heated smoke. That wasn't ideal, and the situation was made worse as more of the drones poured in from the walkways above, jumping down to surround them.
“Just how many of these things are they?” Uraraka asked, as this was insane.
“Fighting with a handicap, what else is new?” Jiro grumbled, turning to face those blocking their means of retreat.
Kaminari turned to Iida, an eager look on his face. “Iida, let’s give these guys a thrashing.”
"Be careful; the last thing we need is you short-circuiting something," Iida told him but still trusted him enough to grab onto Kaminari.
“Don’t worry,” Kaminari started as Iida spun around, using his quirk to speed him up before he tossed Kaminari right into the front of the drones. “I’m a human taser, and I got 1.3 million volts to share!” As soon as he made contact, Kaminari grabbed it and as many others as he could and fired his quirk. He unleashed a powerful surge of electricity, arcs passing over to other drones who bumped into the ones he was group hugging.
Midoriya’s gaze narrowed with concern when he saw that the robots were still moving. “It’s not working!”
“Fine, then let’s try 2 million!” Kaminari upped the power, creating an even brighter release of electricity that traveled further through the drone ranks
"Don't; if you do that, then-" Jiro called, only for the electricity to die down, leaving badly burnt-looking drones, along with a dumb-faced Kaminari who was smiling like an idiot. “That”
“That slowed them down,” Monoma mused, only for the supposedly downed drones to reactivate. This revealed that it was just their armor that had taken serious damage as they shouted out cords that ensnared Kaminari. “Or not.”
“So they're shielded against high-voltage attacks," Midoriya took a breath. Then, with a burst of heat, he entered his semi-transformed state, his body glowing with the concentrated heat flowing through his veins. Then we'll just have to rip and tear them apart!" He and Vlad rushed into the front of the drones, Iida turning to handle the ones to their rear along with Todoroki.
Slamming into the already burned drones, Koharu lunged off her human, shifting forms into a burning skeleton. Using her impressive length, she wrapped around two drones, keeping them together as she started frying their sensitive parts. They tried to close, but her body kept them from retreating into their shells, and in seconds, they started to spark and melt as the heat permeated through their much less heat-resistant inner workings.
Vlad used a similar strategy, bashing aside drones with his shield; their attempts to capture him were rebuffed, while his mace would smash into their side, the pro liquidating his blood on contact and sending it through the openings along their joints, spreading it out as deep as he could get in those few seconds before ordering his blood violently thorn. It didn't completely shut down most of them, leaving them easy targets to smash.
Midoriya was more hands-on. Having quickly used Serpent’s Fire Scales, he was surrounded by five fireballs, which he directed to crash into the drones' heads. Their glowing red eyes were little more than bullseyes for him. His fireballs stuck to them despite how much the drones shifted. The loss of vision and damage gave him a chance to move from one to another, ripping the melting pieces off them so that he could strike at their cores.
Iida, careful to avoid the servers, used a Recipro burst to increase his speed and kicking strength so he could punt the drones into the walls, which didn't destroy them but did leave them stuck, struggling to move without proper traction. Iida, needing to keep the momentum up, kept moving and even landed on his hand, using a break-dance move to spin with his legs up like the blades of a helicopter, hitting 3 other drones.
Todoroki was the most simple of them. He fired off a massive blast of ice, burying the drones up to their heads and sealing the way they came from.
"We can jam their communications with these," Yaoyorozu called out, creating little red sticks. However, the fighters couldn't see what they were in detail. She threw one forward, the stick exploding, releasing a fine mist. The effects quickly followed as the drones started acting confused, bumping into each other and looking around as if they were struck dumb.
Vlad took advantage of this, creating a spear of blood that pierced into the leg joint of one, and upon spreading through its system, a spike of it shot out its neck. “Smart thinking, Yaoyorozu. Ms. Shield, Uraraka, help spread those around. Mineta, I want you mining those upper floors; your balls should trap them in place." He ordered, with Mellissa and Uraraka helping Yaoyorozu to toss more of them all over the place.
With Jiro sending out a blast toward the concussed drones, confusing them all the more, Mineta turned to Uraraka. “Uraraka, give me a boast?”
“Got it.” She paused from throwing chaff sticks and touched Mineta, removing his gravity before she picked him up and tossed him toward the second floor. Mineta tosses a ball ahead of him, using it as a springboard to jump all over the place like a sapient bouncing ball, all while throwing his balls to cover the walkways, which caught many bots.
Others ran into them but, spotting the issue, jumped over their immobile brethren.
"Oh no, you don't. I am not gonna get caught by a lot of toasters!" Mineta, still weightless, came around and tossed balls further into the place and onto the already immobile drones, which succeeded in stopping more who would glance at one of his balls, get stuck, and slam into the rest like a man tripping and face-planting.
Thanks to Todoroki's ice, the area was starting to chill, and the chaff was making it hard for them to see too far ahead. "Todoroki—" he called out, but the fire and ice user was already rushing forward, the back covered in a dense layer of ice that would take a long time for anything with strength or heat to get through.
“Already on it.” Placing his right hand onto the ground, ice shot out, creeping along the ground. Where it made contact with the servers, it didn't spread. Still, when it touched the feet of the drones, it rapidly crept up, climbing into their interiors where they didn't just freeze them in place but crystalized within, damaging if not destroying sensitive systems, which further messed with the bots.
“I see now, shall we, Midoriya?” Monoma asked, holding his hand out to Midoriya, who turned and saw his smirk.
“Right.” Midoriya rushed back to his friend, slapping his hand before grabbing him and tossing him into the fray he had just run from. Monoma lacked Midoriya's control, but he didn't need to refine this; he just needed to let loose in a direction.
Easy.
"Let's see how you handle this!" Monoma yelled as he took a breath and unleashed a fireball, the same shade and intensity of green as Midoriya's. When the intense heat hit the parts of the drones frozen over, the temperature shock raptured them as their materials expanded unevenly, causing many of their legs to just burst or fall off as their fittings failed.
Looking ahead after that, Monoma wiped his lip in pride, only for said lip to crumble and rub off with his hand. "I always forget this can happen." Monoma was quite blasé about it, as Midoriya's quirk had its issues, but already he was regenerating it. Besides, his attention shot back to the remaining drones, at least a dozen of them avoiding the worst chaff and jumping over the ice.
"Step back, students; I'll handle this one," Vlad called out, rushing ahead, abandoning his mace and shield to create two orbs of blood in either hand.
Monoma didn’t argue as he pulled back, curious to see what his teacher could do. What that was was bringing both palms forward and firing off dozens of small needle-like lines of blood toward the drones. Most hit their armor, but others managed to find weak spots and crawled inside, where they wreaked havoc, forcing into spiked cords that swung, vibrated, and saved about at whatever was close.
The result was that all of them went down, Vlad withdrawing his blood through his gauntlet, letting the device clean it before he re-absorbed it.
"Wow." Midoriya blinked, looking toward his teacher after having freed the still-dumb Kaminari.
"That was amazing," Uraraka uttered as she had known that a pro was another level, but to see it for herself was something else.
“As expected from our homeroom teacher.” Monoma couldn’t resist the chance to gloat about it.
"We don't have time for this, people. Let's move it!" Vlad told them they didn't need to wait for the villains to send more, and he was sure they'd send more and in far greater numbers.
Line Break
“Boss, they took out the drone, and there’s something interfering with the drone sensors.” The leader frowned at the news, but as dangerous to their plans as this sounded, the doctor should have finished with his end of things; they just needed to hold out a little longer.
"Lose the chatter; we don't know if one has a quirk that could be listening in. I'll leave this issue to you while I finish something else. He ordered, gesturing for 2 of his people to head out to help handle this. He then handed control of the reception hall to someone else and left to go to the top.

“Iida, are your legs okay?” Mineta asked as the group ran down a hallway much smaller than the earlier ones, which seemed to have been to the same standards as U.A.'s.
Iida glanced towards his back, where he was carrying Mineta. "It's fine, Mineta. I've allowed them time to cool, and with Yaoyorozu's support item, my limit isn't as much of a concern." He offered a grateful look towards Yaoyorozu for that, and his classmate offered a smile in turn.
Reaching another staircase, Vlad stopped, the man thinking momentarily before turning to Mellissa. “Ms. Shield, is there another way?”
“Why?” She asked as she didn't see an obstruction before them.
Vlad didn’t say there was…not yet anyway. "If the villains know we're here, they must have guessed our intentions. Sticking in the tower where barriers can slow us down would only be a hindrance, " he explained.
Mellissa thought about it and couldn't fault his logic. If she were up there, even without her intimate knowledge of I-island, she would be working to slow them down or even bring in drones from the outside to augment the tower's already massive garrison.
Thinking about the outside gave her an idea. “I think I know a way.”
“Then we’ll follow.” Vlad nodded, but she didn’t immediately move.
"Is this okay? We're moving slower than before, and every moment counts." She didn't wish to slow them down and was already aware that they had been moving slower than they should on her account, but if she had to give directions while running, she'd just be slower.
"Oh, I have a solution," Midoriya spoke, smiling as he picked Mellissa up with a yelp, the girl instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck as he adjusted his hold on her. “There, now we can pick up the pace.”
Mellissa was red in disbelief, but when she looked at his face, Midoriya was still all smiles and as open as a book. So she just accepted it and started pointing out the route. Midoriya moved to take the lead, and despite carrying someone and feeling warmer than he should, he kept pace with Vlad.
"Should we be worried about how fast you did that?" Jiro joked as she and the rest of the crew followed along.
“Heroes always save people, and that can be carrying them, so this is just natural." Midoriya chirped up, Vlad rolling his eyes but chuckling under his breath at how his student thought.
"He's not wrong. In fact, if we offered to carry her earlier, we could have shaved some time off our mission. Smart play." Todoroki was just as obvious as what Midoriya did.
“Nice try, but you won’t find a perverse thought in that head of his,” Monoma whispered to Jiro, having slowed down enough to speak with him. "I guess the situation is also hindering his capacity to care about it, but he's going to be a mess come morning when he realizes he carried a pretty older girl in his hands like a prince would his princess." He would get a picture and send it to the rest of the class.
Would Tokage leave Midoriya as red as a tomato for it? Yes, but would it be funny to see?
Yaoyorozu seemed to agree with that, as she had been worried about Midoriya’s motives, but if he was just being a hero, then where was the harm? “Well, we can consider that something to look forward to when we handle things.”

“Through here.” Mellissa pointed towards a door identical to the rest they had seen. Following her instructions, Vlad and Todoroki opened it, allowing the group to step out of the tower for the first time that night.
The girls shivered when they were hit by the chilled sea winds, the height not helping when it came to keeping warm. Without thinking, Midoriya increased his temper when he felt Mellissa shake in his hands. Much like the rest, his attention was on what was around them as they came out into a clearing place, one with a large central pillar connected to 3 columns that made up the rest of the tower. It wasn't just connected in one place and several, with them seeing giant fan blades fixed into the railings, slowly spinning in the breeze.
“What is this place?” Midoriya asked, finally putting Mellissa down, though she subconsciously remained close to the walking heater.
"The wind power generator, an emergency exit at the top, 'll put us on the 190th floor.” She explained, though that was a tall order. Where they stood was floor 139, and 50 floors worth of space had been set aside for the 17 rows of fans, which helped generate power, among other uses.
Jiro looked up but could barely make out the emergency yellow and black markings of the exit. "How were we supposed to get up there? Is Todoroki going to make an ice platform for us to ride?"
"I could, but we shouldn't add needless weight to the tower," Todoroki replied. It wasn't like his ice weighed nothing, and to make something that large without fearing that it could fall over would mean something incredibly heavy.
"It shouldn't be an issue; we have Ochaco," Mellissa answered. However, while the group looked at her face and saw how determined she looked, Uraraka noted that the girl's hands were shaking. “Your quirk makes anything you touch weightless, right? Then this should be easy?”
Uraraka wondered if she was the only one who noticed how scared Mellissa really was and if she should call her out for it, even if to ask if she was okay. But she shook her head. Of course, Mellissa wasn't okay. Ochaco wasn't in a good mood either, and she was training to be a hero. A non-combatant like Mellissa should be scared out of her mind, worried sink about a traitor and what it could mean for her father's life.
But she wasn't talking about it and focused on the mission at hand, so Ochaco would respect that and, when this was over, try to spend more time with her so that the two could decompress.
“Then we'll go up in groups. Yaoyorozu, can you make something that can assist, like a grappling gun and line?" Vlad asked, to which the heiress confirmed she could. Considering it wouldn't need to account for more than the air current of the turbines, it wouldn't need to be excessively big so she could save her lipids.
“Oh yeah, it’ll be like rope climb in easy mode.” Mineta cheered as he jumped off Iida's back. As there were 10 of them, they decided that groups would go in duos. Once one made it to the top, one would act as a lookout, and the other would keep an eye on the line and, should anything happen, grab it and hold it steady. And as more went up, they'll have greater numbers ready.
"Since you were carrying her before, you might as well be her buddy for this path." Monoma joked, which still went over Midoriya's head with him in hero mode. He just agreed, but to his back, Monoma saw the door opening, a different one from what they came through.
Midoriya only had time to spot his friend's eyes widening as he tackled Mellissa to the ground.
“Look out!” Monoma yelled right as a burst of automatic fire screamed through the air. The rest ducked, but Vlad was on high alert in a flash. Todoroki instinctively created a wall of ice, which blocked the rest of the gunfire as Vlad looked out from the side, seeing two shooters. They hadn't been alone, as they came with what seemed like 50 drones at least, with more spilling out, as they wished to cover the entire space with them.
“Monoma!” Mellissa cried out, Yaoyorozu gasping while Mineta paled. Mellissa was fine. Monoma's quick thinking had saved her life, but he hadn't come out so lucky, as his shoulder and neck were turning red, the bullets had torn through him. Mellisa had settled him on his back, and ripping a piece of her skirt off, exposing more of a thigh, she pressed the cloth into his wound to stem the bleeding.
When the two shooters, the first a tall, pale, and skinny man and the other short, stocky, and olive-skinned, discarded their guns, figuring that wouldn’t be of much use, the skinny one called out over the radio, "We found them. They're outside with the giant wind turbines. Get some more bots out here, quick." As with the targets all here, it didn't matter if one heard them.
With the students, Midoriya was already at Monoma’s side, cupping his face and letting him copy his quirk, the effects being immediate as his bullet wounds started to steam as they closed up, with the one in his shoulder spitting out the bullet that had been lodged in.
Slowly getting up, Monoma hissed. “Why does it hurt me?”
“I’ve never been shot, so I couldn’t tell you.” Midoriya shrugged, focusing on the fact that his friend was back on his feet, with the pyro-lover giving Mellissa a hug for her quirk, thinking before he got up.
"Change of plans: Handle these villains and then Midoriya. You get Mellissa to the top. We'll follow after mopping up here," Vlad directed as they slowly grew surrounded by drones.
“But-!”
Vlad cut off Midoriya. "No time, they're going to send everything at us; that could mean even those who could be in your way. Don't waste this chance to end this entire crisis." He reminded them they were here for a reason: Saving lives, and heroes would always fight to do just that, even if that meant splitting up.
Midoriya didn't like it, but he couldn't argue. Instead, they focused on the issue at hand. Yaoyorozu, Jiro, Todoroki, and Uraraka would handle the masses of drones. In contrast, Vlad, Midoriya, Monoma, Mineta, and Iida would handle the two villains.
Plan made, they burst into action, the girls moving to deal with the drones as Yaoyorozu made larger chaff sticks and a hammer for Uraraka. Uraraka rendering it weightless didn't remove its mass, so she could swing it like a stick and still get hard impacts. Iida cut his way wide, helping the girls with the drones; Mineta threw his balls across the floor to try and limit their means of approach, and Todoroki did the same while also freezing drones by the dozens.
With the guys, Vlad led the charge out, creating two blood gauntlets, while Monoma, having copied Todoroki’s, unleashed a wave of ice.
“Didn’t you hit that blonde one?” the shorter of the villains asked as he bulked up, growing larger, his skin shifting to a deep purple. He punched the coming wave, shattering it.
“Guess they’re tougher than the look.” The second’s hands grew, the webbing between his fingers growing more pronounced as she rushed Vlad. Vlad swung his hand at him, creating a vacuum of some sort. Vlad didn't know, but he didn't wish to feel it, so he dodged out of it, giving the skinny villain a chase to keep him away from his students.
That left his two students to handle the big one, who shattered through another one of Monoma’s attempts to freeze him. “You’ve been giving us one hell of a headache, so now it’s payback time!” He charged them, his fist pulled back to crash them. Midoriya’s gaze lit up, the boy dashing to meet the villains’ charge. Seeing one of his opponents rush him didn’t phase the hulking brawler, who swung right for Midoriya’s face.
Midoriya ducked under the strike, his hand coming up to grab onto the outstretched wrist, allowing him the chance to blast the villain in the face point blank with a fireball. The villain grunted but ripped his hand away and backhanded Midoriya across the roof. The boy rolled for a moment before springboarding back onto his feet, his cheek red from the hit, but it was swiftly fading.
Walking out of the smoke, the villain had no signs of damage. "Nice, was that a firecracker, little girl?”
Midoriya pursed his lips, shifting his stance into a more combative one. “Just cause you don't burn as easy doesn't mean you won't burn, not when we're your opponent." Koharu hissed at the man, but he hardly paid the brat’s pet snake any mind.
With Monoma offering another distraction in the form of a blast of fire, Midoriya rushed in once more, getting into a quick melee with the larger man, who, despite his size, proved to be fast on his feet. The hero student remained on the defensive, even as he spotted Vlad dueling the other. Iida rushed through the drones, kicking them back into Mineta's balls and slowly reaching them.
Spotting an opening from a sloppy strike that he evaded, Midoriya leaned in and struck the villain right in the sternum, which got another grunt from him, which grew when Midoriya quickly added a jab to the liver, followed by a palm strike to his chin and finishing with a spin push kick, launching off the villain.
The man growled at that little combo and gave chase, landing a hard punch on Midoriya, who barely blocked. Both arms felt like they would buckle under the strain, but they held strong-barely as he was sent flying back. His sandals, a premium pair that his sempai got just for him, were torn to shreds and exposing his bear feat to the hard concrete roofing, roofing that didn't slow him down, so Koharu did so, turning away from him, she fired off a jet of flames, acting as a thrust to cancel out.
Because of that, they came to a stop right at the edge of the roof. “Thanks, Koharu. That had a lot of power in it,” Midoriya smiled at his limbless friend.
“Dodge!” Vlad yelled Midoriya didn't know how, but he followed it just in case. That saved his trouble as another cone from the other villain passed where his chest would have been. Seeing Vlad close in on the other guy, Midoriya switched back to his opponent, who tried to close in on Kaminari and Mellissa. At the same time, Monoma slowed him down with ice.
Turning her foot and firing off another blast of sound at the seemingly endless drone swam, Jiro asked a question. "Wouldn't think fighting to draw attention?" It wasn’t just the fighting that she was talking about. No, that was mainly the cannon that Yaomomo had made and was manning, creating what seemed to be glue bombs or maybe quick-drying plaster as ammo, which she fired into the swarm, incapacitating them.
Loading another shot, she turned it away from where she saw Iida zooming in and out of the crowds and where Todoroki added more frozen targets to his score. "Not at this height; the wind will block out any sounds, and most would be indoors," Yaoyorozu replied, putting the level and firing a shot, ticking when she saw it somehow miss despite how dense their targets were.
"It's probably good; if people realized the danger, the villains might panic. So don't use any big moves." Todoroki called out, though one could call him hypocritical if they hadn't known that this was far from his best.
“Wha…where am I” At last, Kaminari came out of his quirk-induced stupidity. Blinking into focus, he looked around at the scene, jumping to his feet. “When did we get out here?”
“Welcome back, Kaminari. Pardon me.” Monoma called out behind him, Kaminari turning in time to spot Monoma launch him towards him with a blast of ice before he slapped Kaminari's hand, copying his quirk before he turned around and leaped back into the fray, Midoriya's flames lighting up their part of the roof like a firework show.
Vlad pulled back from his opponent, but part of his blood gauntlet and sleeve was gone. Even with just one effective means to use his quirk, he kept his stance up, shifting it to favor his left instead of his right. "So that's your quirk, not a bad power, one with a low win condition."
“What, you jealous?” His opponent smirked, flicking his enlarged hand, sending the blood and bits of Vlad’s gear to the ground.
Vlad smirked at his foe. "Hardly judging the worth of a quirk is a waste of time. I focus on the man, and you're lacking."
“What was that?” That got under his skin as he rushed Vlad to make him pack for that, which was just what Vlad wanted.
Off to the other side, Midoriya got in close and fired another fireball right into the side of the hulking man's face, which did more damage, throwing off his hearing. Midoriya smiled as he backflipped out. His foe went to reach for his ear, but his arm wouldn't move. “The hell?” He looked down and saw Koharu wrapping around him, the snake little more than a fire-coated skeleton, biting her tail to form a bide. “I can’t-!”
“Why don’t you just hug this out, you me and 1 million volts!” Monoma came in, grabbing the villain before unloading a blast of electricity right into his back, the man yelling out as he spasmed as the volts flowed through him, avoiding Koharu with her stone state being highly unconducive.
Seeing his mark, Midoriya launched himself into the air with a fireball fired at his feet. Seeing him coming in, Monoma let the badly dazed mango right as Midoriya fired off another fireball, aiming towards the sky, which sent him flying toward his target. Shifting while in the air, he brought his heel down on the man's head, knocking his head down so fast he bit his tongue and drew blood.
Letting out a roar, the man broke free of Koharu and grabbed onto Midoriya bear, bugging both to his chest and started to squeeze. “I won't go down that—" He stepped back, his foot touching something other than the floor.
“Nice work, Mineta.” Monoma gave Mineta a thumbs up. As the man had been busy getting electrocuted and kicked from high heaven, Mineta had reached them and laid out some of his balls. Of course, he hadn't come alone.
“Recipro burst!” Iida came flying in and landed another, even harder kick on the villain's head, so much so that it sent the man flying, his boot torn and still stuck to Mineta's ball. Mid-air, Midoriya broke free of his bear hug and hit him with a fire scale to the chest, the strike exploding on impact, sending the man tumbling to the ground, defeated.
At the same time, Vlad finished his fight with a haymaker, which launched his unconscious foe into the now-deflated brawler.
Taking a breath, the man nodded as he looked around at the battlefield. With the drones, he could tell that at least 100 of them were down for the count. Yet, he could see dozens more pouring in from all three doors.
“Midoriya, get to Yaoyorozu and get Mellissa to the control room." He ordered; the boy nodded as he collected Koharu and rushed back to where Yaomomo and the rest should be.

Yeah, it gotta show that I didn't plot out this part of this well. But at least we're getting close to the part that I'm really excited to show off. Also, this is the second last chapter covering the movie, so we can get back to stuff that I'm more confident in writing. But at least when I finish this, I can work on Path of Storms, as I have something really nice planned for its upcoming chapter.
