Ch. 47. Inspired by "real" events

Howdy folks!

Back from my week off and back to the regular comic schedule!

This comic was inspired by an encounter my old dm threw at us, which he in turn had somewhat based on something similar from Ghosts of Saltmarsh! A group of smugglers were using make-up and a magic screaming rock to scare away the locals from an old in. Lotta smuggling shenanigans in there in addition to a philosopher's stone scam. We dont know much really because we opened up a blocked door only for a horrid undead creature to come busting out and wipe the floor with us. It was partnered up with a Shade which buffed the undead whenever it sucked the life out of us. So we ran away but the undead then proceeded to wipe out all the smugglers one by one, growing stronger by the kill and then laid siege to the nearby village. Also, skeletons stole the smugglers ship and bombarded the village from the coast. Wild couple of sessions.
