最近公開されたネルのキャラクターソング『Victory Sky』を聴いて感動し、その想いを込めて、ネルがVサインをしながらマイクを持っているイラストを描きました。

최근에 공개된 네루의 'Victory Sky'라는 캐릭터 송을 듣고, 그 감동을 그대로 담아 네루가 브이 사인을 하며 마이크를 들고 있는 일러스트를 그리게 되었습니다.

After listening to Neru's newly released character song "Victory Sky", I was deeply moved and decided to capture that feeling by drawing an illustration of Neru making a V-sign while holding a microphone.

インスピレーションがはっきりと浮かんできたので、どんなポーズにするかあまり悩まず、自然に「描きたいイメージ」が頭に浮かびました。

영감이 워낙 명확하게 떠올라서, 어떤 포즈로 그릴지 크게 고민하지 않았어요. 자연스럽게 머릿속에 '그리고 싶은 느낌'이 떠올라 그에 맞춰 작업을 시작했습니다.

The inspiration came to me so clearly that I didn’t have to think too hard about the pose or vibe. I instantly knew the feeling I wanted to capture and jumped right into the illustration.

ネルの可愛らしい表情と「歌っている」というイメージを強調したくて、ハイアングルの構図とウィンクしている表情を採用しました。

今回は衣装のディテールにもこだわり、ウィンクしている表情も描いてみたのですが、個人的にとても気に入っています。かわいくて、ネルらしい元気な雰囲気を表現できたかなと思っています。

네루의 귀여운 표정과 노래를 하고 있다는 이미지를 부각시키고 싶어서 하이앵글의 구도와 윙크하는 표정을 채택하였습니다.

특히 이번엔 복장의 디테일을 더 신경 써서 표현했고, 윙크하는 표정도 추가해봤는데요, 개인적으로 이 표정이 정말 마음에 들어요. 귀엽고 생기 있는 네루의 모습을 잘 담아낼 수 있었던 것 같아서 만족스러웠어요.

To highlight Neru’s cute expression and the feeling that she’s singing, I chose a high-angle composition and a winking expression for this piece.

This time, I paid extra attention to the details in her outfit, and I also added a winking expression — which I personally really love. I think it brings out Neru’s cute and lively charm really well, and I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

これまでは、ベースカラーを塗った後にすべてのレイヤーを統合してから作業するのが習慣になっていました。この方が自分の理想に近い雰囲気を出しやすいと感じていますが、時にはレイヤーを分けて作業する必要もあるので、次回からは少しずつこの癖を直してみようかなと思っています。

저는 그동안 밑색을 칠하고 나면 모든 레이어를 통합해서 작업하는 습관이 있는데요. 이 편이 제가 원하는 느낌을 좀더 잘 표현하는것 같지만 레이어를 분리해서 작업해야 할 때가 가끔 있어서 다음에 작업할 때는 최대한 이 버릇을 고쳐볼까 생각이 드네요. 아래 타임랩스를 마지막으로 오늘도 제 활동을 후원해주셔서 감사합니다!

I’ve gotten into the habit of merging all my layers after laying down the base colors, since I feel like it helps me better express the look I’m going for. However, there are times when I really need to work with separate layers, so I’m thinking I should try to break that habit little by little in my next projects.
