Hey.
My patreon page is getting bigger and bigger.
Thank you all for precious support.
You might wonder what the title is about.
I just realized that I can no longer use copyrighted music. (I was about to use MIFL$ by Fergie)
Until now, I was just a small-scale creator, which allowed me to run my Patreon without major issues. But as things have grown, I need to be more cautious. Occasions like what happened about the Fauna video could happen any time with any sort of matters.
(In case you don't know. I made a video about Fauna and it got me banned from X permanently because the male character looks so young.)
Over the past few days, I’ve been experimenting with AI to create my own tracks as an alternative. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to achieve the quality I was hoping for.
As a result, making HMV will take much more time. I’m truly sorry to disappoint those who have been looking forward to them for so long. 😓

I had to make the call to keep it running. Even if it is uncertain, you gotta be extra careful if there's any possibility of it falling.

You have a lot of great PoV animations that easily would blow up in the VR scene but I know rendering VR is a pain in the ass.

Obviously quality will drastically vary but that's already the same for AI and it's nonsensical lyrics. Do whatever you have to do to stay afloat. HMVs are your strongest draw for me, so I would hate to lose out on it due to the music industry's current copyright hellscape. On the note with Fauna, have you ever considered making a new animation with her with a different male model? I wasn't fast enough to pledge support for the high resolution version during the short time it was available and regretted it ever since.

2025-03-17 23:23:33 +0000 UTCI remember when Pyrocynical released his Entropy Zero video - he talked with a Sony rep, negotiated for the rights to use a video, paid 14 000£... and then Sony claimed the video and took 80% of the revenue anyway. I'm not too keen on generative AI, but with the music industry being what it is, it's probably your best option. Take your time, and make sure you're satisfied with your work, that's the most important part!
