Kaiju Project - Character Sketches
Added 2021-09-07 04:56:58 +0000 UTCI’m working on some concepts for a new TF thing. I don’t have a name for it yet, so it’ll just be the Kaiju Project for now.
In the near future, earth is attacked by giant monsters called Kaiju. The UN assembles a division of mech pilots to combat them, but the Kaiju are too fast and vicious to fight effectively. In desperation, the pilots begin splicing themselves with animal DNA to improve their senses and reflexes.
That turned the tide, and the mech pilots won most of their battles for a while. But more and more Kaiju are attacking, and time is running out. One pilot (right side) decides to take matters into her own hands and go rogue. She tries something unprecedented: Splicing herself with Kaiju genes.
Of course, she’ll need someone to monitor her condition. She’s forced to turn to the one person she can trust, her mech piloting rival. (left)

Considering these pilots aren't starting as pure humans, it will be interesting to see how adding Kaiju genes into the mix will affect the final form!
