2025-07-02 12:34:29 +0000 UTCIsagi is a much better player than Naruhaya within a regular football environment, but not necessarily in a 1v1. Isagi isn't a great dribbler, he's not fast, he's not physical or tall, etc. His weapons are his volleys and his vision, which are best on a full team. But if you think about it, we've never actually seen Isagi beat someone straight up. It's always because he predicts the right place to be in at the right time when people aren't paying attention to him, which is much harder when there's literally only two players on each team. Like they said in the episode, this selection is for developing 1 on 1 skills, so it's basically Isagi's absolute worst scenario.
