Weekly Update - About To Get It

It is imminent and unavoidable. I am about to get my hands on the two current commissions I've been waiting on : the new Vivian CG for The Bodyguard Girl 2, and the new character sprite for Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan!!! 

Both works are expected to drop next week, and should considerably accelerate my own output. I work well under the right stimuli, and seeing the CGs completed is a major factor in motivating me to write the scenes the illustrations are showing.

I've been thinking a lot about the story of The Bodyguard Girl 2 this week. Let's be honest, the scenario is paper-thin, it is only a series of obvious excuses to just make the H scenes I really want. But I figured I could add a little depth and complexity to it.

So next update might contain the big reveal I was keeping for later, but only available under certain conditions. It will put player choice back in the driving seat, and perhaps encourage some replayability. We'll see. I'm still mostly winging it when it comes to writing this game in particular. I go by instinct.

I have received my first character sprite commission from a third artist for the unannounced project I spoke about a few weeks ago. I sent new references for another commission, and as soon as I have enough material, I might surprise you all with the official announcement of what that project is. I'm trying to make a strong first impact here. So stay tuned for that.

And that's it. I'm writing this in a bit of a hurry, not a lot of time this morning, my private life is keeping me quite busy. Big needed repairs on my home are taking place early next week, and it might impact my capacity to work. We are still early enough in the month that I am confident the delivery of a new build won't be hampered too much by this.

Anyway, once the commissions are in, I should have some interesting visuals to tease you with in the coming days.
