Mer Cayde-6 (WIP) UPDATED

My mochis have voted and also maybe expanding an old flat color sketch might help get my mind off life.

Here is what I have so far, I am going to shade him and just have fun with this. So look forward to see that, as well as me struggle with water again XD

UPDATE 5/7/25: Plan of attack it! I finally got a good idea for the background. A shipwreck, because knowing Cayde and all hunters in D2, loot and adventure. What better place then a shipwreck.

Same day: I have started playing with the colors and shading.

Same day: Thinking going less theatrical and more calm colors.

UPDATE 5/8/25: Did some shading on Cayde, still working on it.

UPDATE 5/11/25: His face is pretty much done, now for the rest of his body.

UPDATE 5/30/25: Working more on the background right now, hopefully I can finish that tonight...

UPDATE that night: Getting closer, so far still need to finish Cayde and clean up some areas. Like the ocean and the rocks in the far back.

UPDATE 5/31/25: Almost there...
