Art commission in progress Velaskgoodbye

This is the art commission I'm working on right now. I did have to take 3 days off to breath as I was having some mental stuff going on but now I'm trying to get back to work. Make some progress on the list.

So far this is what I have is the pose, right now working on the sketch and trying to work on line later tonight...Hopefully.

UPDATE 11/16/23: So finished the rough sketch and how I draw the clothes is from knowledge that I gained from observing how some fabrics and types of clothing react or move. I will be adding more details as a move forward, this is pretty much the road map to ley me know what is where.

UPDATE 11/23/23: Making progress, I am slightly annoyed with myself as it's now the 23 and I'm now almost done with the line work. I did get some B-day art between working on this and some life stuff happened. So I can't blame myself too much but at least the line work is almost done.

UPDATE 11/24/23: Line work finished and sent them the color version to make sure I got the colors right. Got the okay, now I can move on too shading!

UPDATE 11/25/23: Working on the shading.

UPDATE 11/27/23: Forgot to update you all yesterday but added me details and started shading along with some clean up. The reason why some of my layers are highlighted is to remind me that these layers I don't collapse/merge to the main layer. As they are either for a section that has to be separate from the main layer or is the outline. Hopefully I will finish him today 👍

UPDATE 11/28/23: Getting there and remember if you get stuck on something, refs can help. Either physical (your arm or an object you own) or one online (a photo or tutorial).

UPDATE 11/29/23: OFICALLY FINISHED!!!
