Mikan's excessive consumption of fruits gives her healing abilities, allowing her to soak up punishment but due to a lack of protein in her diet, she's a little weaker than the other girls.
Nova, on the other hand, trained to inflict as much pain as possible to her opponent, draining their stamina and forcing them to think twice before approaching her. However, Nova lacks defenses and has a tough time recovering her stamina, making her vulnerable to quick knockouts

No she’s not, especially when Nova has such punishing punches. Honestly though I thought Mikan was a natural counter to Nova, but seems like Nova was vicious this week
