March Set Preview- Background Texture
Added 2020-02-29 19:50:32 +0000 UTCSo this month's set is going to be a bit of an experiment with Blender 2.8. I'm doing the background in 3D, and the drawings will be edited within the background. All the assets are being done in Clip Studio Paint EX, but the final composition is being done in Blender. This is a first, but I think this will be an interesting set. I have about 3 or so more backgrounds left to do. As a bonus, I have a pose for the first drawing. The clothes have not been added yet. The design is a little complex, so I'm doing the clothes after I do the poses.
If this idea doesn't work out, I will have some pre-arranged photos of the 3D background and just compose all the art in Clip Studio Paint. So far, I'm focusing on getting the background walls completed.
This month's set is based on a music video performed by a group called Mamamoo. I have only heard of them recently, and I don't really listen to their music today, but I thought having them blow up in the style of the music video would be a fun project.
