Should I make SFX for my videos?

To be honest, anything related to audio isn’t really my thing, and I’m not very eager to do it. I also think the SFX in my previous videos turned out pretty poorly. I’m not sure it’s even worth spending time on this kind of stuff — especially since it takes me quite a while. (Though I guess that’s mostly due to inexperience.)

That said, I’d still like to hear your opinion on this, and based on that, decide what I should do next.

I understand you, and also those who voted in favor. Right now, I’m thinking about doing the same thing most creators do — simply put, making SFX and other types of content like WIPs available at the second subscription tier. I’ve actually been thinking about something like this for a long time, but I just couldn’t figure out what kind of perks to offer for the second tier. I often see creators offering 1080p video access and similar things at the first tier, but I’m not really too eager to do the same. That more or less applied to SFX as well, but now I’m starting to see it as a way to make things a bit easier for myself — especially considering that, at the moment, I’m not in a position to pay someone else to create full audio for a video. And if, while I’m working on my own SFX, someone else finishes theirs earlier and it turns out good enough, then I’ll handle it just like I did last time with Trigger — that audio will be available on Twitter and at the first subscription tier in good quality.

Honestly I think having any sound is already a huge step up. Your animations are great but the added sfx is all it needs to be absolutely perfect, but I can definitely see why you're hesitant since it's either do it yourself or pay someone to do it. There might be people out there who are willing to work for cheap or for free but it's hard to say. Regardless please don't overwork yourself, having someone else do it after release is just as good and works out for everyone.
