Video Issues
Added 2021-10-05 16:41:34 +0000 UTCHey guys, I have heard that some of you are having trouble accessing the video. when you click on it, it says "sorry, this video does not exist." If anyone who is familiar with how videos work on Patreon can give some advice, I would appreciate it. From my end, it is working both on my iphone app and my PC. My mom tried it out and said it is not working from her samsung phone app but will work when she clicks on the link through my youtube post. Sorry everyone who is dealing with this, I am trying to fix it.

Ah that's interesting - I don't use the Patreon app so hadn't tried it. All very bizarre. Anyway, hopefully Quantum and Patreon can get it sorted!

2021-10-05 17:07:02 +0000 UTCIt's broken for me using the Patreon app on Android -- it's fine on mobile Firefox. (The patreon app uses Chrome as its browser internally; so it's shouldn't be related to Firefox). Never had an issue with other ASMRtists doing it the same way; I think re-posting the post (not a video reupload, just repost the same video as a new patreon post) might fix it; as for some odd reason, the authentication token isn't being passed correctly to the embedded app browser this time.

2021-10-05 17:01:39 +0000 UTCHi Quantum - I've had the same issue in the past sometimes with Patreon videos that are hosted on Vimeo (as yours appears to be). It was a browser issue - I could get the video to work on Chrome (and chrome-based browsers), but not FireFox. Suggest the users (a) try a different browser to see if that resolves; or (b) clear cache/browsing history/cookies from their browser and disable browser extensions. Hopefully that might help. The video works fine for me (and you!) so that suggests not an issue with your upload.

2021-10-05 16:58:09 +0000 UTCDoesn't work for me on the Patreon app either, even though you seem to be uploading it the same way as Busy B ASMR (which works on the app for me). 1. Try deleting the post, and re-posting? Might just be a glitch with your first video. 2. Do you have Vimeo Plus or Pro? Apparently that's required. 3. Try reaching out to Busy B ASMR? (I did leave a message on her discord, I'll let you know if I hear back). 4. If all else fails, try a Vimeo link with password protection, and leave it in the description?
