It something that meant to be born with and is why Touya was unfortunate as got ICE resistance but not fire which is bad since had a fire quirk. Unless using Eri quirk which reverses everything Teka would be fine regardless. But also I love how much even Enji was close to tears about almost losing his mom. And Yoshi a sweetie~
