A female religious order led by the self-proclaimed “Pontifex”, Asenath Waite.
Very little is known about how the Church operates behind closed doors. It puts up a public facade of a charitable society consisting of solely female elite, with an astrolatry-centric agenda dedicated to advancing space exploration and related technological development. The mainstream scientific community was traditionally dismissive towards the Church, until the Church published groundbreaking research about the properties & applications of tok'l-metal and conceptualization of the Poincaré engine.
The Church arrived on Yuggoth to investigate the origins of their sacred relic, the Shining Trapezohedron. Their forward operating base, the massive amphibious mobile fortress Providence Cathedral is currently moored at Neo Rhode Island, the southernmost region of the Neo England colonies.
