Thanks Coby! I like 28 Weeks Later more than the original. This reminds me of Rabid 1977 about a mutated rabies virus! Also Night of the Comet 1984 where people where sick from radiation, two Valley Girls at the end of the world.

2026-03-01 19:34:54 +0000 UTCDuring Lockdown in The Covid Times, i had to take clothes to a relative in hospital ( the procedure to actually hand them over was intense ) But i had to walk through Central London with NOBODY around. It was the most surreal experience of my life and i will never forget it

2026-03-01 05:44:27 +0000 UTCI believe that the modern Zombie movie really started with this, and that it’s influenced everything that came after. Even the remake of Dawn of Dead borrowed a lot of the style of this film.it was the next step in the evolution. 30 Days Of Night used this template and swapped out the zombies for vampires. I think you said it best Coby when you said it felt more realistic because it’s “not a Hollywood zombie movie.” Since you like Shaun Of The Dead, you might like the 80s horror/comedy Return Of The Living Dead.
