I can't "like" this more than once, but you're welcome for the request and I will look forward to watching your reaction at least one more time now!

Steve Martin feuded with my hometown in the 70s and 80s. He said in a Playboy interview that it was "Nowhere, USA." The mayor invited him to town and he apologized, but it got mentioned in his movies. Here, it's the only place to get destroyed. In The Jerk, it's mentioned as his hometown. He also digs at it in Planes, Trains, and Automoblies.

I had never heard of this movie and did not have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was cleverly done and a lot of the humor was subtle. I should've known better going in with Carl Reiner directing. Is it safe to assume that Coby knows Carl was Rob Reiner's father by now?

This was great. I was really surprised by how quickly you picked up on what was going on, and you recognized more stars than I thought you would. I recognized all the movie stars, but I didn't recognize every single movie. There are a couple I hadn't seen. I'd seen all of Humphrey Bogart's films that were shown, and I do recommend watching The Big Sleep, Dark Passage, and Lana Turner in The Postman Always Rings Twice. Fred McMurray is in Double Indemnity with Barbara Stanwyck. I love the old classic black-and-white movies.

Has this been addressed before? If Coby is Australian, I wouldn’t expect her to know American actors. In 1985 the only Australian actors I knew were the ones in The Road Warrior.

He and Carl Reiner had a Scorsese / De Niro relationship that gets overlooked I think.

Have you seen The Man with Two Brains? By Oh God! Director Carl Reiner. If Duke of Earl ever comes on the radio on the road, I have to pull over to avoid an accident because I’m laughing so hard.

Request Tier? How much does that Tier hurt? Is there a line to get on that Tier?

This movie has so many famous Film Noir movies spliced into this move, It is great.
I figured you had not watch enough older movie to know the stars from the past, but it is still fun so I knew you would enjoy it still

Oh, I’m so excited that you’re going to watch this! I haven’t seen it in ages but I absolutely love it! Very innovative! Rachel Ward was just gorgeous that’s for sure. I don’t know if this was before or after the Thornbirds but that is one series that you need to watch, well it’s a miniseries. Even if you don’t watch it on here, I highly recommend it.

Don't worry at all that you didn't recognize every movie/actor! I have seen this many, many times and still don't know all of them!
