Looking forward to the Lanterns series, hope they do not mess it up. I do prefer Hal Jordan. The Supergirl movie from 1984 was just awful, to me the worst superhero movie. Hope the new on will be better. I not a big fan of this one, Superman got his butt kicked over and over. everyone had to save him. I do think I agree with Coby it was better then Man of Steel.

Green Lanterns are huge in the universe, and Guys portrayal here is just the same ass the comics had and the bowl cut lol. But Hal Jordan and John Stewart are the more popular ones and thereβs actually an HBO series Lanterns coming, that will be tied to the universe with both of them in it. Mr Terrific is one of this universe is Tony Stark, genius characters and heβs rumored to be having a spinoff movie to develop his character more with the universe

Sorry you didn't care for it all that much, Coby. But, in it's day, it was a thing for us boys for sure. NOW the important question. Let's see if you STILL prefer the '78 Superman above all others after this one!

2025-09-28 02:59:54 +0000 UTCI enjoyed your reaction and loved Cash's cosplay as Krypto! Supergirl (Kara) and Krypto are real and part of the canon from near the start of Superman's comics. Green Lantern is a top tier DC hero along with Batman and Superman. Fiillion's rendition is quite bizarre; the famously bad Green Lantern movie shows a traditional version played by Ryan Reynolds. Hawkman is probably tier 2, so I'd put Hawkgirl at tier 3. All of them were in the Justice League. Gunn's take is very campy and reminds me of Burton's Batman movies. The way I can think about it is this version belongs in the same metaverse as his Guardian's of the Galaxy (Marvel) which has a similar comedic feel, whereas Snyder's take is closer to Nolan's Dark Knight's gritty realism. I'm glad you might continue your Synderverse journey, but I'll recommend again that you watch Wonder Woman first since they connect (you just need the first movie, not the sequel).
