On the DVD commentary the Director Mike Nichols said that he terrified his two actors during the bus final shot saying that he had 20 blocks cleared and can only do the scene once and don’t make a mistake and the shot of their faces terrified is what he wanted which now reflects Benjamin‘s future. Brilliant
