Unfortunate Update and A Look Into My Secret Project

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of content this month. It's not like I haven't been working it's just this month got really scuffed. If you can recall I made a post about needing a new tablet to replace the one I was currently using because something is wrong with it. Continuing to use the current one I have is and has been an incredible detriment to my art. I have been constantly fighting with it and it's been wrecking my arm to no end. I only dealt with it for so long because I needed to save up to get a new one. Unfortunately it took me a good while to fix the mistake. I probably won't be buying this brand of art tablet again.

Well, I finally did buy a new one. My (now) previous tablet is so bad It's unusable now. So, I figured I'd wait for it to show up. Then amazon had a outage or something which caused the tablet to be in some weird limbo and it took an extra 2 days for it to show up. I went like a week trying to figure something out with no avail. Eventually, the tablet finally showed up. And it was great. I was able to pump out a lot of work in a really short amount of time.

It took some time to like retrain myself from the shitty performance of my previous tablet and I had to do a lot of tweaking to my brushes. I started working on planning out more comic pages for skin (Both the main comic and The Girth Contest), I finally picked someone for the werewolf comic, and I also started on a secret comic that I already outlined 24 pages of with 6 currently sketched out.

I wanted to show you guys the full pages sketched out of this secret project, but then something happened to my (now) current tablet. After like 5 days of like having it, a cluster of pixels just died on it. So, naturally I went to see if I could get a replacement sent in. (Nope...) I have to send it back for the refund and then get another tablet. While I do this whole process I will be without a reliable way of creating art. I don't know when I will be able to receive a new one. I will update this post as I get information. I am really sorry this month has been such a wash. I really didn't intend for it to be this way.

I don't want to spoil the comic entirely right now I wanted it to be a sweet surprise but here's the pages I did sketch out. The Comic is called Roommates ( I'll make the joke "And they were roommates" 😌) and it is set in the universe of Skin, but this time no spooky. It follows the main character Donovan, or Donnie for short, as he tries to deal with living with a guy he cant stand, his roommate named Kurt. To blow off some stress, he gets the bright idea to order some toys and have them arrive while Kurt is visiting some family. But not everything goes according to plan for Donnie here. The comic is 24 pages long, not including the cover and after credits. :)

Hopefully you guys are excited for this one, I really enjoyed writing it out. It was a nice break from the mainline Skin comics and it's something I've always wanted to do. I always wanted to make a toy ad for something and when I got approached with the chance to I literally did a backflip LMAO. Literally, this was so fun to put a 90s spin on it.
