Some infos:
Bexis is a form of combat practiced by Therions since ancient times. Therions had a human trainer and fought in bloody competitions for the pleasure of humans.
The Bexis made it all the way to modern times, but as the Therions started getting their rights, such fighting became illegal almost everywhere. We'll know more about this practice during the story.
Jack Simmons is Jorge's landlord and former Bexis trainer. He was arrested during the raid at the beginning of the story.

Thanks for noticing! ^^ It was hard to recreate the light for this type of setting because I couldn't find any satisfactory references. In fact, this part took a little longer than expected! I'm always afraid that the light is horrible when I change the ambience 😅
