That was in the back of my mind as I was writing. The other stories had the curse feeding off of her attitude towards her environment—where she felt she was better than those around her—and then the curse turned her into her worst nightmare. Here, she was in a place where she felt inadequate for once, but the curse just decided to send her spiraling further down. I like the idea of the curse taking whatever means necessary to cause a downgrade. It’s a mean curse after all 😈

May have been more consistent to me if, say, a group of sorority girls were buying books at the time and she was transformed to be one of them, or she started shopping for gag gifts and she transformed to fit so that the gag gift was actually suitable for her
