The Final Update~

Hey everyone, it's time for the FINAL update until we get the video out the door.

First off though, I'd just like to add an update in terms of the shirt sale we had a little bit ago.

Thank you to everyone that got themselves a shirt!  Hopefully by now everyone who has ordered one has got their by now.  As mentioned during the sale, I said a portion of the profits would be going towards Doctors Without Borders

I can now officially announce that the amount I have sent to Doctor's Without Borders is $200.  I want to thank everyone that allowed me to make that contribution as during these chaotic times!

So that leaves us with what will be the last update in terms of the production of The Future animation.

Me and the team are currently pulling out all the stops to get the project out the door before October is over.

We currently do not have a particular date in mind, but our goal will be more towards the end of the month.  When the time comes to announce a specific date, we will let people know as much as we can through the usual social media places.  There still does remain a possibility we will miss October and again, should that be the case we will try to let people know in advance.

Production wise, all animation is completed.  That said, we are still polishing things up and fixing errors but as a whole it is going well.

Preliminary video editing and timing should mostly be locked in at this point.

Special effects are coming in at a rapid clip.  

Sound design for specific scenes is MOSTLY complete at this point.

The thing that has us most unsure of meeting our October deadline is background art.  As we stated previously, the BG artist we tasked with doing the bulk of it has had several personal issues due to COVID.  At the moment, he is doing alright and is now beginning to turn in work, but it will be a lot to do in a little amount of time.

The background art has kept us from finalizing certain effects and final compositing, but we are finally starting to get all the pieces in place.

And that about covers it for progress updates for The Future.  As always, I am forever grateful for everyone's encouragement and patience with us during all of this and we are doing everything in our power to make this video as polished as we can before letting it out in the wild.

As for the FINAL video in the series that will be after The Future, I can announce that we have actually started preproduction.  While sadly we won't be able to show anything off for a while in that regard, we want to let everyone know that those wheels are now in motion.
