Despite the weather being awful and us fiddling around with the stream, I believe that we managed to capture a few images showing the Finnish autumn.
I'm still not quite happy of how dark the images were and how little light I was able to capture on the camera's sensor. It's not just that the images are dark, but that the sky is so gloomy, as are the backgrounds; with light editing I can bring up the colours of the skin and the shine of latex, but I cannot make a dark environment look happier without doing major manipulations.
Besides, I don't like major manipulations.
These photos I'm currently working (on a cheap laptop with an awful TI panel as a monitor as my computer is STILL on its way from Malta to Finland) show the Finnish autumn as it truly has been for the whole of October; rainy, gloomy, dark and quite grey, despite having some warmer colours on the leaves.
More work in progress photos to follow!
