WIP: 47th part's video test

Even though the action camera can catch more and more discreetly, I really don't like its lacking video quality – so I decided to test using 1D X's own video again. And I'll have to admit, the quality is absolutely superb, albeit it's a bit shaky as I don't really use image-stabilized lenses. I'll get rid of most of the shaking in Premiere Pro, so this clip isn't really the end result, moreover a sneak peek for you, my beloved Patrons.

I'll have to look into longer video productions, as I really want to learn more by experiementing. But there has to be a reason to shoot video over photography, so we'll have to see. Perhaps a little documentary or some sort.

If you've got any suggestions, comment below – I'll be sure to listen!

Every camera has it's specific use case. With the action camera you can capture video during the shoot, but the quality is not that good and the field of view is reeeealy wide. If you record video with your main camera you have a much nicer video quality but you have to decide if you record video or take photos, If you use the action camera I think you can focus more on the photography itself and don't have to bother as much about the BTS footage. I personally like to see both but, to be honest, I prefer a better video quality. But please do what works best for you! I think you should give it a try and see if it's too much work or if the better video quality is worth the extra effort. And I'd love to see a little documentary! Oh, and I was really sad when the sneak peek was over, so I'm really looking forward to the final video! :-)
