Thank you so much for this. Honestly, with Ra'baal, part of the appeal is how you'll never know exactly how he feels. I have an ending in mind for the series, as well, and I think it's going to break a lot of hearts when it ends.

2025-02-05 19:24:10 +0000 UTCI truly love Ra'baal! He's actually what led me here and what introduced me to your channel so I'm sad to hear he's not so popular. I suppose he's less of a typical your-savingthebadguy-romance story, but rather than making it full on romance the narrative leaves space for so many other topics as you've dipped into here: politics, the question of RELIGION, obviously, the chaos of what the human mind is... I love him especially because it seems like such a canon portrayal rather than romanticised demon boyfriend so I really REALLY thank you for keeping him alive (irony intended, he's not really, well, alive) on the channel despite everything. Listener is a very interesting character to me, but really they do feel just stubborn and driven by loneliness at this point to me. As the nature of this narrative is, I find a romantic ending very unrealistic at this point, but I like to think that Ra'baal MAYBE to a little degree sympathises with them a bit and has really gotten a taste of pure humanity from them - so, attached not to the point he'll save them or romance them, but certainly to a point where he would sit at their deathbed, have a little last chat, end it with a song. Perhaps listener would be stubborn once more on their very last day and wish precisely for this? Keep that last wish? Or perhaps Ra'baal would, rather than having it count as a wish and drag their soul to hell finally, sing them that last song for free ❤️ Thank you again. You play this character so wonderfully.
