Hard to say which is my favorite of them all, probably Hannibal for me, loved your reaction at the dinner scene. I remember smiling in astonishment first time I saw that - probably 15 years ago now. Red Dragon is a classic but different vibe. Silence of the Lambs in my opinion was the most forgettable. I think you'll really like Hannibal Rising if you decide to watch it.

I thought you might consider it a spoiler. The establishing shot of the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane was reused from The Silence of the Lambs (1991), as the building was no longer available for filming. This is considered the fourth film in the Hannibal Lecter series. The novel Red Dragon was previously adapted into the film Manhunter (1986).
