He will keep them away for allergenic patients or dog-phobic patients As for Jeremiah, he keeps them out to help Jeremiah build a tolerance to animals. Jeremiah's germaphobia makes him cautious of most animals, so learning to accept the dogs laying around the room has helped him learn coping mechanisms.
