Legos became a best selling toy in 1971, so they actually would have some! It would actually be Gene and Rory who enjoy them most. Gene would be very into following instructions and making a small model while Rory would like the freedom to build Jobie would like them on account of Rory liking them. He'd adopt the interest so he has something to do with Rory Ace wouldn't be very interested in them. His mother was fond of miniatures and DIY doll houses, so he has an adversion small models

Sure! :) I've been trying to brainstorm a more solid character and story for him, so some of this is a bit newer info Vinnie grew up in a very traditional middle class family with a younger sister and older. He showed signs of being gifted with music from a young age, and was considered a prodigy by age ten. Music was an important outlet to him growing up to do an unsteady and often unsafe homelife where he learned to be hypervigilant and reserved. (A big reason as to why he is avoidant of Cole) Vinnie left home at seventeen with the intent to transition privately and sever his communication with home. (He still avoids contact with his family despite their attempts to reach him.) After working within an orchestra for three years, he had the privilege of playing for Jareth in this orchestra, where he was singled out by Jareth and later asked to work for him. If not for Vinnie's ability to swiftly learn new instruments, he would have not gotten this opportunity. Unfortunately, Jareth has been the single male figure in Vinnie's life who is gentle and genders him correctly consistently. There has always been a mix of emotions for him. There's envy towards Jareth being the man Vinnie aspires to be, and a very tender desire to have romantic acceptance from him.

They were far more frequent and intense in his youth, specifically around his early teen years. Before puberty he was considered "troubled" but had no schizophrenic symptoms yet. He unfortunately still experiences episodes now, but they are often more mild and manageable due to being in a safer environment with multiple sources for support :)

Such a good question, I'll actually be showing some of this in my next short story revolving around a moment from Gene's childhood Genes father was an extremely reserved man, moreso than Gene. He was furiously stoic, hard working, and somewhat unaffectionate towards Gene despite having a very deep love for his son. The majority of his love was shown through acts of service rather than verbal or physical affection. Gene's personality has always been a bit reserved. However, with his father's example, there was a lot of internalized behaviors that he displays in his adulthood. Although there is no insecurity around his inner feelings, he was programmed unintentionally to remain stoic and well-mannered. I will hopefully be able to showcase this better in the short story!

Gene and Ace both have steady jobs Gene works as a cook for a diner, usually working the morning and afternoon shift. If ever they need extra money, he will also take jobs tiling rooves. He planned to go to college but prioritized getting a home with Ace. If he ever got the chance, he would go get an education and figure out what he wanted to do for a living (I can actually see him teaching English in highschool) I've been considering that Jobie should work part-time at a drug store so he's getting out and doing something during the day Rory has a stash of cash he's been burning into since leaving his home, which was stollen from his parents. He personally doesn't "believe" in jobs.

The boys were very different in school, that's for sure Ace and Gene had the privilege of attending school together, which was lucky for Ace. Ace was an incredibly shy and timid student, and teachers struggled to get him to participate or engage in group activities. He made no other friends throughout the entirety of elementary school and high school, and was often targeted by other harsh students. Besides this he was a good student, pulling in A's and B's. Gene on the other hand was neutral to most students, but his association with Ace got him picked on by other guys. This was no threat to him like it was Ace, and he was never in any danger of being harmed. He actually struggled a bit with school and would regularly bring in B's and C's despite usually paying attention in class. He had the potential to be an athlete, but after trying football for a semester, then basketball, he decided that the crowd wasn't for him. Rory was a decent student to have in the classroom if the teacher and him were in cahoots. If not, he was an incredibly difficult student who struggled not to disrupt. He was incredibly social and well liked by the majority of the students, but this lead to a lot of chatting during classes, heckling, and disobedience. He really didn't believe in authority. He pulled in C's if he was lucky, and D's. He got all F's the semester before dropping out of highschool. Jobie was a difficult student and a difficult class mate. Since kindergarten he was a possessive, reactive, and selfish student who couldn't seem to get along with other children. Unfortunately, his mother often justified his behavior whenever brought in for counseling, and refused to seek phycological help for her son. This only validated Jobie's behavior. After being asked to leave two public schools, he was enrolled into a school for "troubled boys" where he was boarded. Despite harsh punishment from staff, his behavior worsened due to his delusions of grandeur, which began shortly after puberty. His behavior became rapidly more intense, unusual, and frantic. In his senior year, he was admitted into CopperFell

Hey Bug, glad you're back I always enjoy your questions :) 1) Jobie himself would claim that he lacks insecurities, but this is false. A big part of his outward personality is a need to be involved! Always! Or else he feels a panicked sense of being left out. He unfortunately has an inner belief that he easy to leave behind. It is easy to leave him out and- if anything- more convenient to leave him out. 2) Awful! His experience at the ward was terrible, and given his furiously righteous personality he was a "least favorite" patient to the staff. He was seldom violent, but hostile and difficult due to the circumstances. He also had a knack for working up the other patients. He was subject to verbal, occasionally physical, and mental abuse. 3) Ooh I haven't thought about this in a while Gene's favors heavier meaty foods. He enjoys pasta dishes, ribs, twice baked potatoes, and breads. He has to watch what he eats though, he puts on weight very swiftly. He enjoys meals rather than snacks, but will occasionally indulge in store bought cookies and muffins. Ace has an acquired taste. He dislikes sweeter things like candy and processed sugar. He enjoys artichoke hearts, seaweed, cold brew coffee, salami, and seafood. He is very much so texture based and will struggle with certain meals. Rory is a trash can, he will stomach anything and everything! His favorite is anything that Gene makes. His absolute favorite snacks though are dingdongs and Devil dogs. Jobie eats frequently, and is lucky to have a fast metabolism. He will frequently roam the kitchen going from the pantry to the fridge looking for something to snack on. He favors anything quick and easy that tastes "right." He can't stand anything that Ace enjoys, and opts for effort free items like chips, crackers, fruit, cereal, and frozen meals. He and Rory share a lot of their grocery items 4) I have never pinned a specific moment of Jobie crying other than Ace's passing, but I'm sure he has before then. I could definitely see a scenario where everyone left the house without him while he napped. When they return, and he is furious with injustice, Rory might make the mistake of teasing him, which would make Jobie glossy eyed and more defensive. I don't believe he would break down in tears, but it would be noticeable enough for the mood in the room to shift. Ace would apologize, and would explain it was him who insisted they let him sleep instead of taking him with. Gene would make the rule that if ever they plan to go somewhere and Jobie is asleep, always wake him up to check. Rory would remain silent during the conflict. Similarly to Ace, Jobie has a similar fear of abandonment. Rather than this manifesting in insecurities and hypervigilance like Ace, he instead interoperates that missing out means being unworthy of inclusion. 5) I wish I had this a little more developed! I know for sure that Sonya becomes a lawyer. She is an incredibly curious individual who surrounds herself with knowledge. Unfortunately, a lot of her motivation comes from a need to impress Cole, even after the discovery of his involvement with Nigel. She doesn't agree with it, but her need for his approval is greater than her sense of betrayal. Anthony took the opposite route and gave up on his father. He is very distant, and he struggles to find motivation to "contribute to society." Despite having a very noticeable talent for sculpting, he works a 9-5. He will occasionally pick up calls from Cole, but he is disinterested with Cole wholly. He took Cole and Nigel's relationship very negatively, and blamed a lot of his childhood neglect on it. Luckily, he has since reunited with Ruby, who gets her life together by then. Due to this family divide of Sonya favoring Cole and Anthony favoring Ruby, Sonya and Anthony are not close in adulthood.

This is such a fun question, I've actually never considered this! Ace doesn't drink much since he can't hold his liquor and hates puking, but when he gets tipsy he is very LOUD. A lot of his inhibitions will die, and he'll become much more chatty and social. Unfortunately, he dislikes how he acts while drinking and will only drink when with the boys. He'll never go at it alone Gene becomes overly affectionate. He's a romantic by heart but a reserved one, and alcohol makes him awfully touchy and lovey. He'll constantly try to cuddle up or feel up one of the boys, always seeking someone to have his arms around. It takes a lot for him to get drunk though, and even with a handful of drinks he'll usually just get tipsy Rory gets DRUNK DRUNK, and he is a sloppy reckless drunk. His motor functions and hand-eye coordination become impaired, he attempts to do impulsive stupid things that he usually wouldn't, and he struggles to have coherent conversations. Jobie is surprisingly emotional when drunk, and will be moved to tears easily. Often times, he will begin talking about his time at the ward, his home life, or personal insecurities that he would never consider when clear minded. He will teeter from sad to angry rapidly. For this reason- and because it makes Jobie uncomfortable to have impaired awareness- he only gets drunk on accident

No worries! These questions aren't strange at all and I'm more than happy to answer 1) Yes, Jobie is a surprisingly good singer. In his very early version he was going to be the singer of the group. However, I gave this talent to Jareth instead. None of the other boys are singers, and the one who sings most off-key is Rory. It bothers Jobie A LOT 2) Nope! Not at all. He doesn't have a single artistic bone in his body, nor does he enjoy music very much. 3) I would like to develop him more, absolutely. He's become a much more prominent character than I expected. In fact, the part 2 of the "Jareth's Birthday" will have a lot of him in it. But knowing you want to see more of him is helpful!

Jareth and Cole had a very "comfortable" childhood. They grew up in London with an upper middle class family. Cole was always protective, which was a habit born from his mother's coddling of Jareth. It was made extremely clear to him that his brother was "different" and needed constant help/assistance. This is not true of course, but a lot of Jareth's abnormal behaviors in adolescence made their mother feel justified in sheltering him. This also comes from his mother's idea that Jareth is special in a way that "they can't understand." This is referring to his musical ear and ability, which was very apparent from a young age. Cole served as Jareth's older brother despite them being twins, and frequently spent his time "looking after" Jareth if their mother wasn't already. The majority of Cole's entire life has revolved around Jareth. Cole was raised to be independent yet became completely dependent on Jareth Jareth was raised to be dependent on Cole yet became completely independent Their father was very emotionally absent, but he provided financially for the family and was an anxious workaholic. Unfortunately, their parents would fight regularly, and on occasion their father would strike their mother. Cole and Jareth only have a few memories with him (Cole more than Jareth) before their parents divorced.

Yes they do! For the sake of time and money, they will do something all four together rather than separately. Usually this involves a date, small presents, and quality time at home. For example, they went to the aquarium for this last Valentine's day on edibles. (Gene was sober)

Not boring at all :) Rory would choose for a simple dog. A mutt or a mix, he doesn't mind as long as it's "doggish" in nature. Having a van and hiking buddy for travel would be groovy. Very very early in his conception Ace had a toucan! They make soft meowing/purring sounds when they're being pet which I thought would be drawn to. Now, he really can't stand birds. He thinks that pet birds are loud and scary However, he wouldnt mind a pigeon. They're quiet, soft, and maintainable which he would need in a pet. Jobie would want a bear that he can ride Gene would want a fox, but would never realistically get one. (They're his favorite animal though! He likens Jobie to them in his head) Gene would probably get a horse. He'd want an emotional animal who he'd be able to form a deep bond with, as well as one that requires a lot of hard work. He would make a very good horse dad

Rory no longer has his lightning scars due to the retcon I've recently done with his backstory. Rather than growing up in a hitch hiker lifestyle, he chose it on his own in his late teens. Getting struck by lightning would be a very traumatic event! and as it stands, I don't believe Rory is a character who would experience much trauma before Ace's death.

It was actually done by a judge, who ruled that Jobie was not criminal, but needed temporary stay at a mental facility. It was his mother who brought him when he was 17. The Copperfell mental hospital was meant to release Jobie when he was 19, but serious neglect and a lack of care for the patients kept Jobie there until he was about 20-22.

The poly boys would definitely stay in with a bottle of champagne to pop when it was 12. However, besides that they'd likely do what they would've done on any other weekend night. A board game, a movie, and/or some love making :) I don't believe Jareth and Cole celebrate the new years traditionally. For Cole, it's a bit of a stressful time since he'll have to begin planning the next year. For Jareth, its another year of work on it's way. I could see Cole taking Jareth, Nigel, and Vinnie to dinner or having them at the estate to stay up for it.

Ace gets very anxious around christmas time due to how big of a deal it was to his mother, so its always a balancing act with him. He doesnt want to get something big or special due to the pressure of "reacting correctly", yet he doesnt want to feel left out. For him, he doesnt know what he wants Gene wants new cooking pans (The ones they have are very old) and a chicken coop in the backyard. He's fairly easy to give gifts to since he'll react the same no matter what. Jobie and Rory both want to take a trip to disney land! Cole would want nothing. (Really, he wants a new tie or maybe a watch. And if he doesnt get anything from anyone he'll be quietly hurt) Jareth wants a pet otter, or time off from work. He has asked many times for an otter, and Cole will let him have a personalized meet-up with some of the otters from a rescue.

When Ace was younger he would sometimes fantasize about being someone very famous, like a singer or a well loved actor who goes on talk shows and interviews. Although Ace could climb the ladder in his modelling career, his fear of judgement and ridicule has kept him in a quiet career path. If Gene could really choose anything, he would be a farmer. Old-fashioned type that wakes up terribly early, labors through the day, and comes in for dinner. He'd get to wear a cowboy hat and ride horses, and have three husbands to provide for Jobie struggled to pick a career path. He believed that he could easily obtain any job that he wanted, and would be put in a position of power in which he was conducting a large amount of people. This was a delusion of grandeur, and was not based in reality. Rory's dream job is no job at at all! He believes that having to work to live is a sham, and even at a young age he always avoided making decisions about his future. So he's living the dream!

a) No b) no, however, he still began smoking at an early age. Around 12-13 c) Terrible for teachers but great for other students. He struggled a lot to pay attention and displayed 'distracting' behaviors. Although he was well liked by other students, he often had below average grades d) His parents were not laid back, but they weren't overly critical until his teen years. I'm toying with the idea of him living a cozy upper-middle class life with parents who want him to take over a family business e) my thoughts for now is that Rory afforded his van through his parents money f) No!! I try to match them with zodiac signs for followers who are into that, but I am very uneducated on them still! I'd have to do a bit of research for Rory :)

Around early middle school age, so around 12. It was a one off comment about Aiden being a "lucky ace". Ramsey was the first to use it consistently. At the time, Ace didn't know that "Ace" referred to cards and assumed it was a name for a person who had a lot of luck.

Yes, Jareth's music is definitely similar to the beatles in the way that it evolved. His very first album was very "English Rock" However, his music morphed and evolved rapidly with each album that he created. (Around two albums a year and occasional singles) His most consistent sound is a pop-rock sound. He likes to make music that has a "groove" to it He is always exploring with his music and enjoys trying on new genres. He loves playing with foreign instruments, so in each album theres always something new A little fun fact- Cole doesnt understand Jareth's fame at all! He thought they should have stuck to the "English Rock" sound since that's what was successful for others. He really doesnt like Jareth's music, but has allowed him all creative freedom in his music after seeing the results with popularity. Honestly no problem darling! God the amount of time my ending’s change it’s only natural while figuring things out. I had a feeling with characters being part of other creator’s work that the story may change over time. Glad to see it’s always evolving tbh, and can’t wait to see what happens.

I actually have been wanting to rework the poly boys story quiet a bit! I wrote it two years ago and can no longer stand the way it ends. Rowdy is very attracted to large intimidating men. He was already drawn to Arlo before discovering that he was related to Sam via his last name. Unfortunately, that only drew Rowdy in more. His ultimate fantasy is to "tame" someone like Sam. A very big and scary masculine person with poor morals who is only affectionate to Rowdy. A big gaurd dog of sorts. He persued Arlo because of this desire. His intention is to safely fulfill a fantasy both romantically and sexually.

I'm honestly not too sure what draws me to it! I definitely find that I have a difficult time creating happy endings for my characters, or endings that are fully content. I tend to lean towards realism in my writing, and I think I sometimes struggle to conceptualize a happy ending in a realistic way. So I always lean towards what I believe to be more realistic, which is often bittersweet. I think that yes, there is definitely a world where the boys could have been happy. As their relationship grows, they would need to begin addressing certain things. For example, Rory's drug addiction and his complete avoidance of serious topics. Jobie may need to continue to learn how to see the world from other peoples perspectives. I could even see them needing to take breaks from one another at one point, maybe after a big fight. Best case scenario, they all end up together after Gene inherits his parent's home, and they tend to the chickens, dogs, and each other. Gene would still wake up at 6 every single morning to make them breakfast.

I'd definitely like to think that the boys get new lore in the ghost AU, and perhaps some thats more light hearted since the AU itself is more positive. I was actually toying with the idea that each boy is from a different era, but all happened to pass away in the same house due to bad luck. Jobie passed away first in the 1700s during the vampire scare. A mob had unfortunately attempted to break into his family home to steak him, and were successful. To be fair, Jobie had been telling people of the town that he was a powerful vampire. The home belongs to Jobie's family and he brings this up frequently to the others, claiming that the house is HIS house and they are VERY lucky to be staying there Ace passed away in the house around the 1890s due to his love for uranium glass. Unfortunately, he collected a large sum and would use it for all his drinks, food, and even as glass lamp covers. Ace gave himself cancer on accident, and passed away in the house after being under the watch of a personal doctor for a year. Rory was the most recent to pass away in the 1920s due to catching influenza during the pandemic. He did not own the house, but he was using it as shelter without permission. Gene owns the house in the 1980's, and is already aware that he can see and talk to ghosts. He purchased the house knowing that there was at least one ghost within, but did not realize he would have a flock of spirits to entertain.

Rory and Ace's first time together actually involved Gene. It happened the very night that they met Rory, and Ace- feeling more open than usual due to Rory's welcoming nature- agreed to taking him home. It was a bit impulsive on Ace's part. Even Gene was slightly overwhelmed by it. This is actually where Gene discovered a very deep attraction to seeing his partner sexually interacting with someone else! Only during the next morning did Ace and Gene have a serious conversation about what happened, and what it meant for them. Ace was convinced that they had cheated on each other. Jobie and Ace took a while to get together. It started over their shared "night own" tendencies. Jobie began to sneak into Ace's room when the others were asleep so the two could spend quality time together. This isolated time together actually helped both men learn one another's behaviors and boundaries. Ace became far more comfortable with Jobie when he realized that he could behave completely unmasked when alone with Jobie. Jobie learned that Ace is not actually a snoody brat, and just nervous. This feeling of comfort slowly turned to attraction, and then desire. On one night, they kissed. On another, they got more intimate. Their first time was actually quiet a relief for Ace. He has massive performance anxiety, and having Jobie do all the work completely relieved him of any responsibility. He can enjoy himself without worrying whether or not Jobie is really having a good time.

Unfortunately, Cole initially avoids interacting with Nigel outside of work. So besides their sexual romance, they really only did work activities together! As Cole ages and the idea of being with Nigel is more normalized in his life, they begin to explore the domestic side of their relationship which includes a lot of movie watching, book reading, and shopping. Cole rarely had the time to indulge in films while he was working with Jareth, so Nigel would spend lots of time with Cole showing him the media he was missing out on. As for shopping, Cole would struggle to display affection through words or physicality, so he would likely show his love through purchasing all entertainment for the evening. They would definitely do a lot of 'going out' together since staying in and doing nothing would make Cole antsy!

A) definitely Cole! Although he has deliberately told Nigel not to inform him about his "night life", he often finds himself poking into Nigels privacy out of jealousy. He strongly disagrees with Nigels life style, and often suggests that Nigel should settle down. B) Jareth and Cole's playing styles actually clashed quiet a lot. Cole struggled to roleplay with his toys, and instead would "set them" in scenes. For example, a battle field. He would set them up like the battle was about to start, and that was all. He wouldn't enact the battle himself or play as the characters. To him, after the scene was set, the playing was over. This made it difficult for Cole to play with other children. Jareth played privately. He would tell stories in his playing but it was done very quietly and often without words. He would move the toys and say the words of the characters in his head. This also made it difficult for him to play with other children. C) their reactions to it would definitely be different. Nigel wouldn't be surprised by the shift in societal views. He is very involved in the LGBTQ community and is aware of how many people there are- and how many are still closeted. He is in the loop and we'll informed. Seeing queerness become more normalized with each decade would not be a big shock to him, and if anything he'd be ready for it. Cole would be horrified by it. Unlike Nigel, he is completely uninvolved with other queer individuals and even in later years would make very little effort to join the conversations in the community. Suddenly seeing two men hold hands in public would definitely startle him, and he would be of the opinion that it should be "kept private." This opinion would definitely change, and in his older years he and Nigels relationship would be public. He never makes any official statements about it, but it wouldn't be hidden

Vinnie, unfortunately, has a massive crush on Jareth! It formed instantly when Vinnie began to first work with Jareth. He is very deeply attracted to Jareth's mannerisms and personality, finding him to be an oddity to others. He believes that unlike most men, Jareth is "safe". For example, Jareth is the only individual to consistently gender Vinnie correctly. However, this love is completely unrequited and Vinnie is fully aware. Despite how long they have worked together, and how often Vinnie has attempted to bond, Jareth often seems incredibly distant from the group. There are definitely moments of Jareth and Vinnie bonding, but its only when theyre working on music, not because Jareth is really enjoying Vinnie's company. For Vinnie, its incredibly frustrating. However, even if Jareth were to accept his advances, Vinnie would struggle to pursue due to a desire to be professional. That deep attraction for Jareth will likely never go away, but Vinnie has kept it private. For Jareth, he finds Vinnie to be perfectly delightful and never minds being in a room alone with him. There are times when Vinnie tries to talk to Jareth, and he doesnt know how to respond, but he never reads it as being a negative interaction. He appreciates how well Vinnie works with him. He is completely oblivious to Vinnie's feelings, and has no noticeable romantic feelings for Vinnie.

Not a weird question at all, but a really fascinating one :) Listening to the song as I respond. and I think it would fit best in Jareth's or Ace's playlists. For Jareth, the bit at 2:00 - 2:14 would be most reminiscent of a sound he enjoys. Ooh, a very interesting question Ace would be pretty disturbed by his modern self. The more feminine clothing he wears would unsettle Ace a bit and make him question why his modern self would be comfortable enough to dress such a way. Modern day Ace would be uncomfortable with an "old fashioned" version of himself casting judgement Modern Gene and old Gene would get along just fine. It would be incredibly difficult to tell which was which, they could change clothes and no one would know Rory and modern Rory would get along just fine, but modern Rory might be cruel and have old Rory try modern snacks like takis and mountain dew. Modern Rory loves micro plastics and red dye 40! Modern Rory would honestly find the demand to be shirtless a bit silly and fake, but he would only tease about it. Jobie would think modern Jobie was the lesser Jobie, and Jobie would be incredibly amused by old Jobie. It would make great streaming content

They have only had one or two, nothing significant besides the dog incident. That only lasted a month, and Gene brought Ace over to properly talk about what happened to Robin. Though things were incredibly low in the friendship for a couple months after they talked, they managed to bounce back. In their later highschool years, there was a bump with Gene having a girlfriend. Ace had an incredibly difficult time with this adjustment, feeling as though he was being abandoned or replaced. This caused some turmoil in the relationship And finally, their friendship was spotty and confusing late senior year when Gene began to romantically interact with Ace more forwardly. Ace found it difficult navigating his feelings!

They do not! Luckily, the boys live in an era where both Ace and Gene can work and manage to comfortably afford a home and essentials. If Rory and Jobie did have jobs, Rory would be a retail worker and Jobie would be a dog daycare worker Rory would do very well in a retail job. It may even be frustrating to the other employees to see him quickly climb the ranks despite how little he works. He would be incredibly social with the customers and manages to make conversation with each and every one of them. Even aggressive customers would often struggle to pick fights with him. Rather than telling them they're wrong, he would agree and tell them their problem "blows man." By the end of the year, Rory could be more than capable of being a co-manager to a retail store. Jobie would do well in an environment where he doesn't have to work with customers. Rather, he would do well with a job completely based around body language. Working at a dog daycare would be easy for him, and he wouldn't take offense to poorly behaved dogs.

For a while, Gene had thought he would be coming back! He left without any signs he planned on leaving at all, and Gene had thought for a week or so that Rory would be coming back at some point and he was only taking a break.

Jobie is very bad at prioritizing the food being cooked, and he can make slightly careless decisions. He will cause small fires, burn the food, or- more commonly- add too much of one ingredient believing he knows more than the recipe.

Yes :) Gene enjoys reading very much and spends most of his time consuming novels. (Mostly romance!) He often cooks, plays guitar or banjo, and enjoys boxing/fishing when he gets the chance which isn't often. Jobie enjoys singing/music, sex (he firmly believes this is a hobby), and people watching (protecting) Ace enjoys a few private things such a makeup, journaling, and fashion/modelling while alone. He publicly enjoys piano (he was forced to take lessons at a young age). Rory enjoys puzzles, smoking, camping and TV. He has very few hobbies

Sure! He was originally made for a friend of mine, but I like his design and his personality enough to occasionally feature him elsewhere. He is not a canon character nor does he have a specific story. One thing he loves to do is tell lies. Not the kind that will get him into serious trouble, but harmless lies that are fun to get people to believe. (Usually strangers.) The best part for him is telling them that he's lying after they believe him. He is mischievous, slightly manipulative, and off putting at times. His voice is slightly monotone and airy, and he has a difficult time taking any situation seriously. I imagine him being in college during the 90s, and perhaps being acquainted with Arlo, but he would have no further connections to anyone in the canon.

Gene would absolutely be a dad texter! Responding to long messages with a thumbs up, or just saying "okay". He would only pop into a conversation to make plans or ask if anyone is coming with him to the store. He uses perfect punctuation and occasionally uses gifs. Ace is a lengthy texter due to fear of being misinterpreted. He uses ":]" and ":[" very often. He dare not ever use an exclamation point, and gets embarrassed if he spelled something wrong and didn't check. Rory doesn't spell check whatsoever and types fast. This leads to a lot of broken sentences. He doesn't use his phone very often so he takes hours or even a full day to respond. Jobie texts often but in short increments. He is almost always online with his notifications turned all the way up. He replies short like Gene, but far more direct and unfiltered.

1) I've never chosen an extremely specific year, since the story currently doesnt have a certain "start" You could go all the way back and say it started when Ace and Gene were kids in the 50s/60s, or you could start when they met Rory around 1969-1970 2) no 3) Honestly, I dont know! Originally, they didnt have a story at all and were just silly OCs of mine. I still only see them as OCs (not any different from the OCs that other people create) that happened to connect with a lot of people, so I began to build on them and create a story for them. If i was approached to make a show, I wouldnt immediately reject the offer but I would be cautious. Their story would need to be more solidified and reworked in specific areas. Not to mention the very specific vision I would have, which I would have a difficult time changing for producers. On top of that, I would not want to contribute to the current issues in the film industry! I can say confidently that I support the actor/writer strike, and I wouldnt want to be producing any kind of film at this time while people are fighting for the right to reasonable pay :)

Yes I have :) I have avoided ever outright stating that Jareth has autism, as i do not want it to be "tokenized" or to become Jareth's entire character. When it comes to hereditary traits, Cole also displays many spectrum behaviors. However, they are so different from Jareth's traits that it can be difficult to tell. So, he himself never considers that he too may be neurodivergent! They inherited these traits from their father's side of the family. His traits are more aligned with Cole's rather than Jareth's.

Hi there! Jareth has had a few changes since then Jareth's career ends by his own decision, and he himself is responsible for firing Cole. They have a falling out and part ways for a handful of years while Jareth lives in solitude from fans. He gets to live in peace, and with enough money to comfortably retire. He moves away from his estate to a secure location that only those close to him know. Nigel, Vinnie, Richard, and Cole (despite the falling out) May still come visit him. As of now, Jareth will still begin to show early signs of dementia the older he gets, and eventually Cole will re-enter his life to care for him during his last few years. When Jareth finally does pass away (peacefully) Cole will begin to share his story using a book he writes discussing his personal experience being Jareth's manager, and a documentary that goes over Jareth's career and how it was a miserable life for him. Vinnie and Cole are most prominent commentary for the documentary, and Nigel had passed away by then and they lost contact with Richard.

I could absolutely see the boys going to see the Barbie movie in modern day, and they would enjoy it. Ace would doll them all up before going, making sure each boy has pink accents in their outfits. Ace would find discomfort in watching Ken slowly turn towards the patriarchy after having been so hopeful about his character going in. (He was using the Barbie Life in the Dream House Ken for reference) Gene would have a personal emotional reaction during the last act of the film, thinking of his mother who never had the opportunity to have a daughter (Having Gene was a miracle enough) Rory and Jobie would enjoy it, but not to the degree that Ace and Gene do. The two would mostly find enjoyment in the comedy rather than the commentary.

William is incredibly difficult to read, and he would seem to have little to no reaction to Ace's death. He would briefly act as a support system for Gene before suddenly moving away without a word. Inwardly, William would feel very deeply for Ace's death. Though he himself has certain beliefs about death that prevent him from feeling sorry for Ace, he can feel deep empathy for Gene and the situation he is going through, as well as Jobie and Rory. When William finds out, I imagine it would be through the local news while hes at home with Cornelius. He would remain silent while its playing in the background, as he wouldn't want to alarm Cornelius about one of his many lovers.

Sadly, Sam does not have an official voice claim! I have tried to find a match multiple times, but I've never quiet found one that really sits. His voice is not impressively low like a lot of people would think. It sits at a lower pitch, yes, but is not abnormally low or jarring. Jobie grew up learning that winning was a VERY big deal! So when he was first with the boys, it was incredibly difficult for him to learn that board games and activities were not serious competitions. When losing an actual contest, Jobie immediately denies having lost, and deems himself winner anyways. He has since learned that winning is not detrimental to the others, and is able to lose without trying to gaslight the others that he is -infact- the winner. Instead, he is just very put out. His competetive spirit will never die, but his reaction to losing has calmed down as he's gotten more secure in the group.

Unfortunately, a discord server is something I likely will not offer. I had a very small server for a short amount of time to stream art, but I no longer have it. Unfortunately, yes! Jobie and Ace would occasionally get into some heated arguments. They were quick and never lasted long due to Gene usually being there. Whenever Ace gets into a bad enough place, he'll eventually have a split moment and completely blow up at the others. It doesn't happen often, but it would happen more frequently once Jobie arrived. Jobie is very stubborn and very opinionated, which Ace struggled with at first. He didn't understand what was an opinion with Jobie, and what should be taken as an insult. Ace also struggles with change, and the addition of a new partner. He worried that because Jobie seemed to be high maintenance, Gene would begin to favor or turn all of his attention onto Jobie. He still struggles with this insecurity at times. Unlike Rory and Gene, Jobie would absolutely yell back at Ace if things were to get heated. Of course, feelings would be hurt on both sides, and the day after was always a bit rocky during the beginning of their relationship. Jobie would be VERY passive aggressive through body language and facial expressions. While Ace would be in a completely passive mode, likely hiding in his room most of the day or avoiding Jobie around the house out of guilt. Ace has since learned that a lot of the things Jobie says is an unfiltered thought, not a genuine insult. Jobie has learned that Ace is more sensitive than the others, and he should be more aware of Ace's boundaries and triggers. They no longer fight as they once did, but every now and then Jobie still fans the flames when Ace is in an angry place. THey always manage to work things out!

No need to apologize :) William met the poly boys at a "hippie club" which really was just a safe space for queer individuals to meet and interact. He approached Gene first out of everyone, seeing as Gene often sat completely alone reading a book whenever they would go. (No one approaches him, most people assume he's an undercover cop) However, William offered him a drink, and a shoulder massage. After chatting with Gene, he came to learn of the others and found their four-way relationship to be incredibly interesting. Though he has since gotten to know the others, Gene will always be his favorite ;)

In Rory's original story, his grandfather was an aristocrat who had a hefty sum of money saved up in his will, which was meant to go to his son. However, his son became a hiker before the inheritance could be passed down. Rory was meant to inherit that money, but as of more recent canon he inherits nothing and finds out very little about his family. I felt it would be far too easy to have the boys live a cushy life without money troubles because Rory got lucky. Rory is my least developed character when it comes to the poly boys! His family life and dynamics are the least thought out. A tragedy happened to the hippie group Rory grew up with, and it encouraged Rory to run away and begin integrating into society. This would be his first time using avoidance as a coping mechanism. What that tragedy is, I have yet to decide. It would be ironic if Rory's father died of an overdose much like Rory would when he was older. But Rory's story is still shifting and changing :)

Luckily, Cole and Nigel turn out okay. They go through a rough patch for half a year after Jareth stops working with Cole. Cole is rather passive aggressive and very avoidant of the band as a whole, which includes Nigel. However, Nigel would manage to get back in touch with Cole again, and the two of them end up getting old together. Cole may never get to the point where he can accept that he is not heterosexual. Yet, he would never take on another lover, and would stay with Nigel in the same estate for many years.

Many reasons! He cant stand the pressure of having to be shirtless and pantless. Having just swim trunks is a nightmare to Ace! The idea of having his legs, stomach, chest, shoulders, and arms exposed to the public is mortifying. Furthermore, the hassle of finding a good spot, setting up towels and umbrellas, and avoiding other beach go-ers is another task he doesnt enjoy! If not for all of that, the beach offers way too many sensory issues for him. Having sand sticking to his legs and feet makes him freak out a bit. He can try to wash them off in the water, but then turn around and realize he'll just have to walk through sand again. A losing situation! He doesn't like being splashed, he doesn't like swimming far for fear of getting washed out away from the beach, and he doesn't like sitting watching everyone have fun. Most of the time, he ends up curled up by Gene- who's reading a book-waiting to go home.

Unfortunately, Jobie ended up staying in the ward for longer than Gene wanted. Since he ended up having to move back home, he was unable to take Jobie back in while living with his parents. Before Gene had the chance, the ward building was set on fire during a riot, and Jobie was assumed dead. However, this is not true. Jobie had managed to escape during the fire and ran off into the surrounding woods, convinced that he knew exactly where he was going and he would soon make it back to Gene's place. He ended up dying of thirst and starvation.

I had an idea for Sam being experimented on! He is a spiderman that comes from a universe currently in a world war. In desperation for new battle tactics, they take in convicts/prisoners to experiment on them, feeding them radioactive venom from different animals in the hopes to create a monster. The only venom that works is a spider's venom, and it works on Sam. He manages to escape the facility, killing every single doctor within. Now he roams aimlessly covered in tubes and wires I didn't have anything in mind for Jareth, but I'll start brainstorming :)

Hi there! Thank you for your patience Gifts from Rory- For Jobie, Rory actually mainly offers him money! He will hand him cash and say something sleezy to be funny. For example, "Get yourself something nice sugar tits" in a smoker voice. Jobie has only spent about 10% of the cash Rory has given him. He has a secret stash of the rest in a bag thats hidden in their room. It now holds more than 2000 in cash. If not cash, then Rory will usually gift weed or sexual favors For Ace, Rory often gifts jewelry or weed. He knows that pearls are an easy win for Ace, and regards him to be the most feminine in the group. Thus, the one who should be given shiny items. As for weed, he knows it can chill Ace out after a bad day. For Gene, Rory has a difficult time knowing what to gift Gene. He doesn't smoke weed as much as he does cigarettes, and he is the second least materialistic of the group next to Rory. Rory's gifts for Gene would fall under quality time and physical affection rather than tangible gifts. He often will give group-wide gifts that lead to quality time, like tickets for a concert. Gifts from Ace- For Jobie, Ace would often gift him essentials. For example, a new hairbrush if he notices hes had one for too long, clothes to borrow, new toothbrush, new deodorant, and a new haircut. Jobie is very capable of getting these things himself, but Ace really enjoys being able to care for him in that way. For Rory, Ace gifts him clothing and haircuts like he does the others. It can be hard to gift Rory since he is very used to living with the bare minimum! He likely wouldn't make much use out of many gifts. For Gene, Ace gifts clothing, haircuts, and books. Ace is really the only one who knows what exact type of books that Gene would like, so he'll grab one if he sees them. As for clothing, this is something Ace has to do on a yearly bases after realizing Gene has been wearing the same clothes he wore during his senior year. Absolutely not! Gifts from Gene- Gene's gifts fall under a broad umbrella. His gifts are usually non-material. For example, providing dinner every night or doing the grocery shopping and getting specific items he knows they like. Doing the tasks that are needed around the house and such. However, he does his gifts during traditional celebrations, like Christmas and birthdays. When it comes to these gifts, they are extremely thoughtful and likely have been planned for a few months. For example, Ace once broke the first necklace that Rory had gifted to him and was heartbroken to throw it away after losing the metal piece essential to closing it. Gene had managed to sneak it into his pocket and have it taken to a jeweler to have it fixed, and gifted it that Christmas. Gifts from Jobie- Jobie gifts are fairly ambiguous! He loves receiving gifts but isnt the best at giving them. For Ace, he would gift musical items such as records and Jareth posters. Since this is how they first started bonding, it would be an easy solid positive for Jobie to gift with For Rory, Jobie barely will gift him at all! It just doesn't feel natural to him in their dynamic, so he's barely thought about it. For Gene, Jobie often gifts obscure items that Gene assumes is a gift. To Jobie, showing Gene a misplaced item or straight up trash is helpful, since Gene is usually the one who will keep and instruct that the house be clean. (Mainly for Ace's sanity.) Thus, giving him something misplaced is letting him know that Jobie notices when something isn't supposed to be there. Gene however, thinks that some of these are actual gifts. This is why he still has a paperclip from Jobie in his wallet.

Despite his father being Italian, he grew up listening to southern music from his southern mother, so he gravitates towards more folkish sounding music. Rory would be psychedelic rock all the way! Ace would be pure funk/disco and occasional pop. Think Abba and Bee Gees. However, most of his music would have very sad lyrics Jobie would be "good chaos" music. 1) William felt great! Cornelius did not At first, Cornelius felt incredibly content and comfortable when they had finished. William immediately began to soothe him and give him proper aftercare, which would be completely new to him. However, there were massive amounts of guilt and anxiety that began to creep in for Cornelius, and he spent the rest of the night awake. He was too nervous to get up and leave though, he didn't want to be impolite. 2) Unfortunately, no. William and Cornelius mostly drink, talk, cuddle, and have sex in the safety of William's home. Cornelius would want to avoid being spotted in public with William outside of work or a bar. So most of their loved is a very private love

Jareth was definitely a bit awkward as a kid. His hair has many cowlicks which is difficult to see with his longer hair. However, when it was short it would stick out in different directions and wouldn't stay flat. Cole's hair actually does this as well, but he uses hair products and styling to keep it down as much as he can. Most of his fashion was before its time. When he began to write music professionally though, he was often put in dress clothing like a Beatles member. Luckily, Cole slowly let Jareth flaunt his own fashion once they were successful enough His special interest was always music! He liked other things, but music was always his number one As for clubs, he was never apart of any. He barely attended much schooling at all and had trouble getting along with the other kids/teens. He would much rather be alone and writing than be with a group of teens kicking a ball around

I'll be completely honest with you, that man would get struck by lightning again with how little awareness he has for his own danger! He would definitely have a slightly more cautious response to thunderstorms and rain, opting to stay inside or near the house whenever one is happening. However, he could very easily be distracted and find himself outside tussling with Jobie, or watching a movie with the boys not focused on the thunder. Worst case scenario, he smokes when a thunderstorm is happening to soothe his nerves :)

Due to their era, they would not be very uneducated on the matter! They may not understand it how they would in modern day. Gene wouldn't understand it completely, he would likely assume that the guy was intersex unless it was fully explained to him. However, Gene would never misgender him or see him as anything other than male. The first introduction would imprint in Gene's head as "this guy is a dude." He certainly wouldn't get it all the way, but its not something he would force himself to completely get. All Gene knows is that he is attracted to him and enjoys his company. Jobie would refuse to believe that they were anything other than male. It could be fully explained to Jobie and he would reject it, INSISTING that they were born physically male despite having complete proof that they are AFAB. He would be the only one who completely doesn't understand it, and would likely refuse to understand it. Yet, he would never misgender them! Rory would recognize it a lot sooner than the others (for once) due to the hippie group he grew up with who had a trans woman in it. Having grown up with it normalized, he wouldn't think twice about it. Unfortunately, he would be cluelessly insensitive to outting the guy in front of others. It wouldn't happen constantly, but he wouldn't have a filter unless directly told not to. Unfortunately, Ace would struggle with it the most. He would have a very hard time understanding it once he's told, and he would need a lot of things almost over explained to him. He would be the only one who was skeptical of it and question it, despite having a relationship with body dysphoria himself. He struggles with any kind of change, and having a new partner who also happened to be a trans man would be a difficult big change for him. However, if their personalities were compatible, Ace could grow a deep and loving attraction for them regardless. As for intimacy, it depends! Personality is a big part of it, but if we're going completely based on a blank canvas then; (nsfw content warning!) Gene would have no issues being intimate at all. Both topping or bottoming would be fine for him, he wouldn't have difficulty adjusting to new anatomy. In all honesty, it wouldn't cross his mind that it was very different. He would behave no differently with a trans partner. Jobie would still insist on topping, and he would likely still prefer anal. However, he wouldn't shy away from or refuse to use the natural anatomy. Having been with William (who is intersex) it wouldnt be a completely new or scary concept to him. He'd really like having another partner to have sex with who has such unique anatomy. Rory would be no different, but his head skills for trans male anatomy would be horrendous. He would have no clue what he was doing and it would show despite his confidence. If the guy was a top, Rory would happily let him peg him. If anything, they'd cuddle more than they'd have sex Ace would need a lot of time and understanding to be eased into intimacy. Just cuddling is a big deal for him even when he was learning to love the other boys. The anatomy would be completely foreign and new to him, and he would need a lot of patience from the new partner. However, Ace could absolutely get to a place of comfortability and intimacy with a trans man. Perhaps not as frequently as Gene or Jobie.

The truth is, I actually don't know what I'm doing, haha! My process is very unorthodoxed, and I have no amount of professional art experience. However, I am currently using clip paint studios to draw, and moho studio to rig. I start every animation completely in clip paint and I draw every single piece that will move as a separate layer. I only know how it's going to look once I plug every piece into Moho and start plotting rigging points and moving the pieces :) To get a "bouncy" look for any head bop animation, pay attention to the hair! Having the hair bop delayed from the head will create a more flowy and organic look. If the hair is longer, like down to the shoulders, then the bop can be twice as delayed for those pieces. William is actually very quiet in bed! He mostly expresses his pleasure through heavy breathing/panting. However, if a partner specifically asks for him to make noise, then he definitely will. He's not shy to use his words, especially with Cornelius who he knows enjoys being called a 'good boy' Cornelius is much louder than William. He moans and grunts mostly, and might whimper if William is teasing him.

Ooh! I've actually never thought very deeply about it I think the only OC of mine that could handle Sam while keeping their peace of mind is William- which I explored a bit in the clown AU, but they would not be a very stable relationship! William would likely live for a little over three weeks. As for any other ships, I believe Cole and William would do wonders together. William is similar to Nigel, but he would fawn over Cole and compliment him far more than Nigel does. He would feed into Cole's need for praise, and Cole would feed into William's need to nurture. Gene and Dr. Theodore Phips could do well together. Theodore is a talker outside of his profession, as well as having a hyper active brain. He is easily distracted and tends to forget things. Gene would help ground him. Theodore rather likes stern men with soft interiors anyways!

None that I've very explicitly gone into outside of the QnA post :) Though, his life may have changed since there WARNING- brief mention of S/A William came up in a heavily religious family with multiple wives. They were heavy believers in God, to which William always struggled to follow. Having been born intersex, he was seen as a "devil child" of sorts. Though he was never explicitly mistreated, there were undertones that he was not an equal to his siblings nor deserved the same amount of respect. Though one of the wives- who William suspected was likely his mother- was incredibly kind to him, and passed down a lot of behavioral traits to William. Unfortunately, he had experienced S/A in his childhood, which may be the cause of his now hyper-sexual habits. William does still hold spiritual beliefs, such as the idea that every person has a soul/aura, but he does not believe that there is a god. Unfortunately, this is not solid lore! I'm still working out poor Williams past

Cornelius' kids are not very fond of their father. Despite his desire to connect with them, he very often fails to spend time with them and will abandon them to drink instead. His children may have had a connection to him in their youth, but maturity has separated them from him, and they really only see him as a drunk who sleeps on the couch. They still love him, but there is an awkwardness between them and their father. They think their mother is fine, as good as a mom can be given the era. Now that they are all adults, they talk with her more casually and see her more as a casual friend rather than a parental figure. Yes, they know William. They have met him, and I imagine he has even been over for dinner once or twice. All they know is that William is Cornelius' attractive young friend who goes drinking a lot. They are unaware that Cornelius and William have a deeper relationship. Their mother thinks William is a terrible influence on Cornelius, but that he is a polite young man who means well.

Hi there! I am doing well. If I'm honest, there isn't too much to say about Cornelius! I could tell you he wanted to be an English professor, but recognized that it wouldn't make his family enough money. His wife encouraged him to go into a law firm, which is where he still works. He is terrible at creative writing, but very good with scholarly writing. As much as he would like to tell a good story, he's much better as writing factual papers that are informative, or argumentative. Despite everything with William, he still believes that he is a straight man. He thinks William has confused him in some way, since William is such a "Feminine" man, and his treated him so nicely. Originally, Cornelius didn't like William! He thought he was far too friendly with everyone, and didn't like how much everyone fawned over him. He assumed William wasnt charming, rather, he was manipulative. That is, until William started to give him lots of attention! William always knew he wanted Cornelius. He felt attraction to him from a far, and felt affection towards him after talking with him. From then on, William gave the man far more attention than Cornelius was used to!

Howdy! Nigel certainly adopts a different persona, but not a different name. From time to time, Cole may let a "Sir" or a "Ma'am" slip out, but Nigel enjoys hearing his own name :) He is far less charming and smiley, rather he is a lot more cruel and taunting. Cole has a few favorites! He favors a specific pair of red heels, and the Tangee lipstick. Everything else he is fairly flexible with. Gene attempted to do wrestling after school for a semester, but found that he didnt enjoy the crowd. He tried football, basketball, and baseball but found that he would rather train with his father after school. Furthermore, Ace would then have to walk home from school alone, which made him an easy target without Gene there. Jobie once attempted to form an after school club in which he was the sole dictator and they enacted a society run by Jobie, but it was rejected by the school. Dr. Theodore was very involved in musical theater, but abandoned it after he took his first psychology course. It was actually Theodore's younger brother- Wesley- who became a professional actor.

Hi there! As of now, Jareth's band mates are my least developed characters (Mainly Vinnie and Richard), so I wont have too much to say! Their full names- Nigel Bird Vincent Dixon Richard Burns Heights- Nigel is around 5'11 Vinnie is 5'5 and Richard is around 5'9 As for personalities, Nigel currently has the most distinct personality. He is cunning, witty, intuitive, and confident. He knows when he wants something without hesitation, and knows how to get what he wants. He is often very admired by others even in a professional setting, many finding him to be charming. However, he has his own past time/enjoyment that is a very big secret, something that would make him lose the respect of many around him. During the daytime, he is a darling pianist who wears suits and smokes with other men. He is someone quite different during closing hours. It is the reason for his divorce! Richard is very upfront! He is humorous as well, but in a much less filtered and direct manner compared to Nigel. Never does he try to be offensive or rude, but when he is corrected he often gets defensive out of embarrassment. This can make him difficult at times, he and Cole silently butting heads at times. Vinnie is much more tame compared to the other two. He will occasionally add to the conversation, often to correct Richard or give information. However, he is used to being talked over and doesn't attempt to take spotlight. He is attracted- romantically and platonically- to more silent individuals anyways. Many dont recognize he is actually rather intelligent, especially in the instrument he plays, bass. Much like Jareth, he is a natural born prodigy! Yet, it is not nearly as appreciated as Jareth.

Jareth doesn't get too many casual days, but he would definitely choose to wear something more comfortable. He rarely will ever change out of pajamas on those days. His go-to would be an oversized white and blue striped button up and boxers. If not that, then a large sweater. (Not the itchy kind, something very soft!)

Hi! No, Jareth doesn't make any of his own puppets nor does he often commission them. He collects them from specialty shops or foreign crafters. He actually dislikes the 'muppet' look very much! For example, the one with the curled mustache on my last post is not one he is very fond of. He finds them off-putting. Stringed puppets, finger puppets, and detailed puppets are better to him. He would LOVE the dark crystal. He and Jim Henson would likely work together often, whether that be for a music video, a movie, or a commission. He would be the only one Jareth may attempt to commission As for Cole's mystery lover, I don't think Jareth ever finds out who it is. He knows there's someone, but he doesn't know who. If anything, he is curious. But he doesn't question Cole on it, not directly anyways. He hopes that she's nice. If he were to question it, Cole would likely snap at him out of panic, and insist the mark was likely from Ruby.

Hi there! Yes, William is with the other boys intimately. That is to say, they have all been intimately romantic with him as some point. He is not considered apart of the main group, but they all enjoy his casual company whenever he visits. His visits are rare though! He and Gene have the closest relationship of the four, and Gene has spent nights at William's home on a few occasions. They click incredibly well, yet barely share spoken words to eachother. Besides that, Jobie LOVES William. He knows he's going to have a good time when William visits no matter what. I believe I have answered a few questions regarding each boy's relationship with William within the comment section if you have further interest :)

The apology itself went well, not much had to be said before Rory said something along the lines of "Aw- don't worry about it man." And the night quickly carried on as it had been before. Rory isn't the kind to hold grudges, he'd much rather just get back to the good part of the night. Rory was not effected much by the outburst that Ace had. He was definitely stunned, as he had yet to see that side of Ace. However, after Ace and Gene left he flicked on the TV and casually waited for them to come back. There has never been a time in which Gene has gotten upset with Ace for having a split moment. Having grown up with him, Gene recognizes the behavior was learned from Ace's mother, and he knows Ace is always working on it. He never feels anger towards Ace when it happens. He may feel fatigue or tiredness, but he would never forcibly make him apologize. Ace always apologizes on his own, its never something forced out of him :)

Howdy :) 1) the musicians find Jareth to be an interesting lad, though their opinions have changed over time Richard thought that Jareth was difficult to work with at first. He barely communicates what he wants verbally and keeping up with his brain is difficult. Jareth wasn't what Richard expected him to be. He was far less social, far less charming. This opinion has shifted the longer he has worked with Jareth though. Being able to understand what he's wanting or what he means is important, and it's allowed them to work more efficiently. Jam sessions, using new foreign instruments, and learning Jareth's musical patterns has given Richard more positive things to associate Jareth with. He wouldn't be friends with Jareth outside of work, but he thinks he's a musical genius. Vinnie thinks that Jareth is an absolute wonder. From day one, he found Jareth to be incredibly admirable and fascinating. Opposite to Richard, Vinnie was relieved that Jareth was nothing like he expected. Rather, Jareth was soft spoken and gentle natured with good morals and an alien-like aura. Vinnie told Jareth "no, I'm a boy. I have a testosterone deficiency." And Jareth never questioned him. Nor has he ever refered to Vinnie as anything other than male. As far as Vinnie has noticed, Jareth is more comfortable touching him than anyone else. This may be leaning on him when he's playing bass, or gently tapping him to ask him something. Vinnie often wishes he understood Jareth better, and that the two could manage interacting more. But he struggles knowing how to talk to Jareth, and refuses to make any steps closer to him. Luckily for Vinnie, bass guitar is often Jareth's favorite sound in music. The two work very well together, and Jareth enjoys dabbling with Vinnie's improvising. Nigel thinks Jareth is a delight. A bit odd, maybe queer, but amusing. It is his opinion that Cole and Jareth have far more in common then they believe, and that the way they interact is incredibly amusing. He speaks to Jareth as he speaks to everyone, which he knows Jareth sometimes has a difficult time deciphering. Out of everyone, he worked best with Jareth at first. Having listened to his music and watched Jareth's body language for a while before ever being his pianist, Nigel was a bit ahead of the other two. He is quick on his feet and good at improvising, which makes him adaptable to Jareth's changes. 2) they really didn't know what to do with him for a long while! I like to think that Gene got him a motel room as a buffer for time, but that only lasted a week before they agreed they should bring him in an actual home with other people while they decide what to do. 3) Cornelius attempts to return to his normal life, wishing not to be involved any more than he has. Of course, there are whispers and rumours around the office, but they last for only a month.... He makes no attempts to reconnect with William, yet he does not attempt to rekindle the lack of love in his marriage. 4) sure! Vinnie is much more of an observer. He is often read as being shy since he won't initiate conversation, but instead he is just content not contributing when first meeting people. He is incredibly intuitive, and knows very quickly whether or not he wants to have a friendship with someone. He notices little ticks or red flags and files them in his head. This tells him how close he really wants to be to someone. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for him to make friends.

Despite the boys being in a polyamorous relationship, there are jealous moments! It's normal, and jealousy occurs more in some people compared to others. Even in poly individuals! For the boys, Ace has struggled with jealousy more frequently due to a general anxious personality and insecurity. Originally, he had a deep fear that Gene preferred Rory over him, and was just staying with Ace out of obligation. During this time, Ace was still learning how to communicate those feelings more honestly. Rather than bring them up, he remained very silent about those feelings and allowed them to wind up until he split and yelled at Rory one night. Gene took Ace out of the house for a drive, and the two talked. Ace revealed his fears, and Gene answered with honesty. (This can be read in my Gene's car chronicles short story!) After, Ace apologized to Rory Jobie struggled with jealousy at first as well. However, it was not out of fear or nervousness. Rather, Jobie has possessive tendencies, and would have difficulty when he wasn't immediately included in something. He wanted everyone to do everything together, and would get frustrated if a pair went out without him. This is something he had to learn to tolerate through boundaries, communication, and reassurance that he would indeed get to spend time with them, even if later in the day. The biggest thing of importance is communication! The boys are human, and don't always know how to communicate correctly. Having no examples, they have to learn as they go in a poly relationship.

Haha, but for age difference references (if I can remember correctly) Jobie is 24 Gene is 27 Ace is 28 Rory's age is unknown (he is likely around 26ish) As for birthdays, I answered how they celebrate in a previous question on this post :) Jobie and Gene usually don't go out for dates, rather they stay in! Unlike Ace and Gene, they don't usually do dates. If they happen to have a night alone, then it is full of playful tussling, lots of devil's tango, and going for a walk if they get restless

Yes :) Rory has double jointed arms, can move his ears, and is very good at fishing Gene can play banjo and can sing decently. He's definitely not professionally trained, but can hit the notes. It's not much of a secret, but Ace can play piano. He was forced to learn when he was younger, and associates it with negative memories. So he rarely plays. William is a very good artist! He works with oil paints and loves painting lovely women of all shapes and sizes. However, very very few know of this secret talent since he never shows his work. Cornelius only discovered this talent by accident after going into Williams garage to fetch tools. Theodore is a phenomenal actor! He loved musical theater, and it was going to be his second career path of he didn't become a psychologist. If he had persude acting, he would likely move from musical theater to film acting. (His younger brother who he is no longer in contact with is an actor!)

Cornelius has a few specific kinks, which William unlocked pretty easily! His number one is a mommy kink. He wants nothing more than to be smothered with affection and treated like a pet. He let the word slip once during an intimate time with William, and William has been treating him accordingly ever since. Besides that, he deeply enjoys when William wears lingerie. The first time Gene witnesses a same-sex couple behaving affectionate in public is when he is much older. Having a heavy lack of access to modern technology or the internet, he isn't very aware of the progress. So seeing two men share a kiss while getting coffee surprises him. Unfortunately, having a large older man staring at a gay couple has judgmental implications, and the couple soon left. It was only then that Gene realized there has been a shift in the general public considering queer relationships. In honesty, it was a confusing feeling for him. It was great that queer folks were far more tolerated then they were in his day, but it was something he never got to experience. He never got to hold hands in public or kiss the other boys outside of the house. So he was happy, but there was still a slight sorrow behind that happiness.

It depends on the holiday :) For valentines, the boys will usually do some type of a date night if they don't go to a club. But they don't celebrate it very heavily. (Gene met William at a Valentines day party though) For Halloween, they absolutely will dress up each year and attend Halloween events such as haunted houses and drive-in scary movies. Jobie likes Halloween the most out of all of them. Thanksgiving is always spent at the Ramsey household. Gene's mother loves when the boys come for the holiday, and always over prepares with too much food. (She assumes they all eat as much as Gene and her husband do.) They arrive the day before to help cook the food, then stay the entire weekend. As much as they all enjoy Thanksgiving there, it can drive them a little stir crazy since they cant be affectionate together. (Rory and Jobie will get frisky in secrecy) Christmas is the biggest holiday for them! It's Gene's favorite holiday by far, andAce spent most Christmas days with the Ramseys. So for the both of them, Christmas is the most important holiday. They do the most activities during this holiday. They'll make gingerbread houses, bake cookies, hang up lights, watch Christmas films, attend Christmas themed parties/clubs, and open presents Christmas morning. (Per tradition, they all get to open one present from Gene on Christmas eve. It's usually matching pajamas.)

Hi there Andy! I know Simon and Garfunkle, but I have not seen The Boxer! I will as soon as I can though, I'm sure it will help me round out Mr. Ramsey a bit more haha. The Ramsey boys are absolutely the 'sit back and watch' type of fighters. Gene more so than Ramsey. Truthfully, Gene could have been his father's successor and brought home quite a bit of money for the boys. However, his mother hated the idea of her son boxing for a living. She discouraged Ramsey teaching Gene (They did it in secrecy) and she specifically asked Gene not to hurt himself for work. She has guilt for this later on. Yes! All of Jareth's musicians get along with one another. They have to since they're constantly around one another. Vince and Richard are a bit closer than they are with Nigel, but they still enjoy his company nonetheless. Being prodigies in music, they tend to understand one another a bit better. Richard tends to get a bit snarky and big headed, but it never gets too out of hand. However, they aren't the biggest fans of Cole! He can be a bit up tight and bossy, and he acts like he knows things when he doesn't. He and Richard will occasionally get into a bit of a bicker, which Nigel will step into and make a joke to avoid conflict. They think Cole is funny, but not as a friend.

I'm allowed to answer vaguely? ;) !!Content Warning!! mentions of conversion , general homophobia, body mutilation, forced religion Unfortunately, William was outed as a "crazed sexual swinger" in his work life, which he tried to keep very strictly away from his romantic life. So much so, that work partners know him as Bill rather than William. Given the time period, many thought that the acts he committed were acts of the mentally insane, and he was in consideration for the mental asylum. Ironically, it would have been the same one as Jobie! However, it was decided that William would be a sexual danger to those around him at an asylum, and was instead sent to a religion based conversion camp. One that is closely connected to the church/group that William grew up in. His genitals were surgically altered to better fit the image of a cis-gender male rather than an intersex individual. He spent four years in the camp before being returned to his family. His family was rather thrilled to have him back and now "as God intended for him to be." He was fixed However, they were displeased to find that William could hardly function. He refused to get out of bed, and rarely ever spoke a word. They had been informed that this may occur due to his body needing rest after releasing so many demons. However, it remained this way for many months. Until one morning, William was gone. As for finding Gene, William hadnt expected he would fid him at all. Years later when William was in his 40s, he found the courage to return home and see if the boys were still around. He was not surprised to find a family living in their home. While driving, he recalled Gene having taken William to his parents a single time. It had been a spontaneous trip for the two, and William had been slightly hesitant. Roughly managing to find his way during the two hour drive, William came upon the old broken down house after the sun had gone down. He had thought it was completely abandoned. He went around the back (the backyard has no fence) and was surprised to see an older gruffy man with a cigar between his lips. He wore an old brown leather jacket, and had two dogs at the feet of his chair.

While Ace and Gene were trying to live on their own, there were definitely some financial troubles. At the time, only Gene had found a job. By the time they had Rory in their lives, Ace was modelling and Gene was working his two jobs. (One as a roof tiler and the other as a diner cook). Given the era, they had more than enough money to support themselves comfortably. By the time Jobie came around, things were a bit strained for a while but they all adjusted to it. Gene was able to make more just at the diner with a raise, and Ace became a more valuable model, thus was payed more per shoot. Unfortunately, they definitely have had their arguments over it. Usually Ace is the one to bring up that neither Jobie or Rory work when he's having a bad night.

Aces mother and his brother do not know that the group exists. Ace has done everything he can to stay completely out of contact with them ever since moving out. They only know about Gene, and his mother doesn't care much about Gene. His older brother will always see Gene as nothing more than his little brothers weird Italian friend.

Gene's mother, Abigail, has the most opinions on the matter! She thinks that they are just a delight, and had welcomed them into the family with open arms. Gene was never really good at making friends, it was always just him and Ace. So the idea of him having a whole group is very exciting to her! She found Rory to be an incredibly charming individual, and very modern and hip for his time. He's into that whole hippie crowd thing. How "groovy!" Although she doesn't understand his slang, she thinks he's just a delight to have around the house. He tells wonderful stories and treats her like she's a pal rather than an old lady! How silly. Although at first, she wouldn't let him in the house without putting some kind of a cover over. They opted for Rory to wear Gene's coat, unbuttoned. She was also very frightened by the nipple piercings, pulling Gene aside privately to ensure he wasn't planning to do the same. There was a time that Rory put an arm around Abigail and she responded with "Oh my!" And became quite flustered. Gene later informed Rory that his parents are not as touchy as them. Besides that, she thinks he's a product of his time and will likely outgrow the hippie stuff. She likes Jobie as well, but thinks that he has a bit of an attitude problem. He always looks so angry, and talks a bit too loud for what is needed. Not to mention that before dinner he didn't say grace during his first visit. He just started eating! To her, Jobie is an oddball and she wouldn't know how to talk to him if they were alone together. But he is still a part of the family. Ramsey doesn't care much for Rory. He thinks he makes weird decisions and doesn't like the nip piercings, but that's just what the young people like. So whatever. He talks an awful lot, won't stop talking infact. Which Ramsey enjoys. If Gene likes Rory then so does Ramsey. Ramsey loves Jobie. He thinks that short little stinker is hilarious. Whenever Jobie exclaims "What!" In a shocked reply to being scolded, Ramsey chuckles. He likes how feisty he is, and he likes how he mutters or gives short sudden responses. Ramsey's first interaction with Jobie was peculiar. He had been informed by Abigail that Gene was coming for his birthday, and that they would be bringing two friends. When they arrived, Ramsey was in his recliner like usual with the newspaper. Abigail greeted them at the door, and Jobie immediately managed to slip off into the living room. Ramsey put down his paper to discover a short young man right in front of him with his fists balled up. Ramsey stared at Jobie, and Jobie stared at Ramsey. ".... Aye." He greeted. Jobie did not reply, he just gave him an odd look before Gene whistled for him. Ramsey decided that Jobie was very funny from then on.

Rory never experienced any kind of birthday celebration, so when he found out it was a thing he wasn't very affected by it. He still doesn't celebrate a gotcha day or birthday because "I'm not bound by age, man 🤘" But yes, he does celebrate the other boy's birthdays :) The only one he doesn't celebrate is Ace's, who prefers for his birthday not to be made into an event. The day itself is stressful for him. Even a "happy birthday" from one of the boys can spark guilt for having the attention on him. Their way of celebrating Ace's birthday is acting like it's a completely normal day. They will spend time with him and likely go out shopping somewhere so he can buy them clothes he thinks they'll look good in. But it's staged like a normal day Jobies birthdays are quite the opposite. He is THE BIRTHDAY BOY. For Gene's birthday, they always go up to see his parents :)

Yes, Ace was forced to learn piano when he was young He doesn't play much now, but all of the muscle memory is still there. Gene plays guitar as a hobby, which is lucky for him with his six fingers. Jobie enjoys singing, and isn't too terrible with it. He thinks himself to be a rather good one, claiming he's got "star quality" by nature from his family

Wow! This is a very very big question with a very long answer! I won't be able to properly cover every event with just this answer, but I'll do my best :) Unfortunately, Gene's life does not rise in quality even long after Ace's death. Having had Ace with him his entire life, it takes Gene a very long time to adjust. Much like losing a sibling or a parent, it's a massive chunk of his life all the way back to childhood that is completely gone. To Gene, he was always the protector, and he failed at his one job. Most of his grief is guilt. Despite never having experienced depression before, he develops chronic depression. Stubbornly, he tries to fight against it by continuing his acts of service for the others. He still cooks the food, runs errands, and tries to find work. Gene and the others were outted to the public in a national way. The story of the "sodimist polygamists" massacre ran on the news for months after the shooting, the reporters milking the content. The actual court hearings were heavily publicized and recorded as well, which Gene was also included in. Because of this, Gene can no longer find work. To keep payments on the house, they have to dip into Rory's inheritance money. Despite his stubbornness, he is occasionally unable to get out of bed and unable to maintain patience for Jobie- who is grieving in his own way. This leads Gene to desperation, and he puts Jobie back into the mental institution that he originally ran from. His plan was to get better on his own, then return to get Jobie when Gene knew he could handle it. This later didn't work as planned. When Gene came home after that event, Rory was gone. So was all his stuff. Gene became completely alone. Each meaningful relationship in his life were gone. Although he attempted to reach out to William, all of his calls were unanswered. After driving by William's home, he discovered that it was completely abandoned. Gene was able to stay in his own home for another month before needing to move back home with his parents. He couldn't afford to live on his own anymore. Although his parents accepted him into their home, the relationships had completely shifted. Unfortunately, his mother doesn't speak to him for the first few days that he's there. Despite having been a loving and exceptional mother, she cannot look past her son having been sleeping with multiple men. She's horrified by it, and unable to form any bond with him now. However, she is not cruel to him. She is mourning for Ace as well. And although she doesn't accept the romantic relationship that Gene had with him, she understands that he is grieving. They do end up talking again, but the relationship is never rebuilt. As for Gene's father, nothing changes. Ramsey treats Gene the exact same way without question, and the two don't speak of what happened. Ramsey knew that Gene wasn't a heterosexual, and he had his suspicions about Gene and Ace. Of course, he had been surprised to find out about the others, he didn't think much about it. Gene was a good kid. Ramsey attempted once to talk about it with Gene while fishing together, but he was met with silence from Gene. A half year or so into living with them, Gene's father passed away from a heart attack. Shortly thereafter, his mother died of heartbreak. So, Gene then owned the home and owned the dogs that his father left behind. All of the money that his parents had went to him, despite his guilt and desire not to have it. It is here that Gene was alone for a very long time. He was unable to create new connections, and his only meaningful relationships resided with his two dogs and Jobie, who he only visited once every four months or so. These visits got more and more spread out as Gene felt less and less mentally able to handle seeing Jobie. To the neighborhood, he became the "lonely old man" that lives by the forest. The kids in the neighborhood would spread rumors that he killed his parents, and now lives alone with all of the money. If you get too close to the house, he'll shoot you! Just a tall tail to scare other kids. After a few years of living alone in his parents house, Gene discovered through the news that the mental institution that Jobie is housed in had gone up in flames. The suspected flame starter- as shown on the TV- was Jobie. For a week, Gene drove through the roads nearby the mental institution in attempts to find Jobie. He would occasionally get out of his car to walk around the forest, convinced that he could find him. Unfortunately, it is later confirmed by officials that Jobie likely died in the fire and was unable to be identified, or died while on the run in the forest. Gene was alone for a very long time after this. He goes to work, comes home, feeds the dog, watches TV, then goes to bed. Every single day. If he wasn't driving or on the couch, then he would be tinkering around the house to maintain it even in its old age. Of course, years later, what had happened is forgotten. No one knows who Gene is or of the massacre. That had all passed long ago, and he is just some gruffy old guy living all alone with his dogs. Unwilling to make friends. At the age of 47, William came knocking on Gene's door. Although Gene didn't recognize William at first and nearly closed the door on him. However, once it clicked he allowed William to come inside. It had been so long, the two did not share any kind of celebration in seeing one another. There was no hugging, no words of affection, and no questioning what had happened between the two of them. William came in, and Gene began to cook dinner for them. From then on, William would visit Gene on occasion. They would chat very casually, and sometimes Gene would mention something that had happened. How his father died, or how Jobie set the mental institution on fire, or that Jeremiah had half a brain now. But he never really went into depth. William never discussed what had happened between now and the last time he saw Gene. As their new friendship began to build again, William would stay over more and more often. He began spending nights, and eventually they grew to find affection for each other once more. They became a romantic pair again, and managed to live as an old couple together in the home. It was almost a relief for the both of them. Just having someone to love, hold, and talk to. In the end, Gene does find love with William. He never finds out exactly what happened to William, where he went during those years, or why he sometimes cries after sex. (If William didn't want to have sex, Gene would not force him. It is always consensual, and Gene would stop the moment that William no longer wanted to.) He knows that some kind of surgery was performed on William to "correct" his intersex anatomy. He assumes this is the source of emotional distress for William, but William won't discuss it. As for finding peace with Ace, Gene eventually does get help. He receives a letter from none other than Theodore Phipps, asking if he would be willing to talk or perhaps write a book about what happened with him. Gene accepts. Through Theodore, Gene finds closure. He is not only given trauma therapy, but given answers to questions that he thought he would never get. Theodore sends up becoming a close friend to Gene and William, and visits them whenever he's free. It's not the ideal ending, but it's one that Gene learns to be content with :)

He was very unpopular in public school, very unpopular in private school, and seen as an instigator in the mental hospital so he was often isolated. He was also the most eager, becoming confidently grabby with Rory and Gene before even recognizing his attraction to them. All he knew is that touching them in that way felt good. He wasn't quite as grabby with Ace, having learned through trial and error that Ace had some very prominent boundaries. Jobie experienced a sexual encounter with Rory first. Jobie would constantly tussle with him and he would often get aroused from it. After pinning Jobie down one time, Rory playfully offered to give him head. He constantly will reach back and feel the ends, or draw a strand up and down against the back of his ear to feel how soft it is. If it's on stage, in public, or during something where the press is present then he is advised by Cole to refrain from his 'jitters and what not.' However, he will seek textures or fidgeting. For example, he'll gently pinch and pull on his ear lobe or pet the line between his lips and nose with the back of his nail. If he is in a more private space, then he will find an empty room and curl up in a tight space. Perhaps under a table. Infact, Jareth has a space under his bed for when he gets overstimulated or pa nicked at home. It's very dark, very confined, and private. Cole does not know about it. 2) yes, Jareth enjoys soft soothing textures. He likes the feeling of velvet specifically against his cheek and will slide it against his nose and face. However, he HATES wearing velvet. Infact, Jareth can't have constricting clothing around his neck. This is why all of his button up are undone, and his ties are often loose. 3) yes, will get up and pace when understimulated. He will hum, making soft tipping sounds, and mutter improv lyrics. 4) no, Jareth does not have low empathy. Although he doesn't display it very well and often finds it difficult to understand how to, he has empathy. For example, he recognizes that Cole is often going through a lot, and has empathy for how hard he works. But he struggles to show it due to how little he understands Cole in general. He doesn't understand the way other people communicate, nor why they make the decisions that they do. So he has a lot of empathy and understands when he should feel it, he just has a difficult time applying it outwardly. 5) Jareth would definitely have something with him that he can gnaw on, like a chewable necklace. If not that, I can't imagine that he would be heavily connected with social media, and wouldn't be aware of fidget toys. 6) Jareths special interest is music! 7) this is an interesting question! I have always written Jareth to be an autistic coded character, and I've always seen him as being on the spectrum. However, I don't want it to completely define him. Autistic people are people outside of their autism, and I don't base Jareth's entire personality or life around it. I do apply it to his interactions with other people, and how he handles certain situations, but it is not the main driving force of how he behaves. Jareth is still just Jareth, and his personality is not autism. His personality is just Jareth :)

Ooh this is a fun question Gene's favorite fruit would be oranges Aces would be strawberry Jobies would be green apple or lemons Rory's would be banana. Specifically sliced with peanut butter (Gene makes it for him) or watermelon Williams favorite fruit would be coconut, but he has pineapple most often. He'll have pineapple juice for breakfast mixed into his smoothies, then have pineapple chunks during lunch. Keeps things tasting good! Fun fact, William is vegetarian Cornelius's favorite fruit would be pomegranate Jareths favorite fruit would be peaches, specifically without the pit. I like to imagine that mermaids are a bit larger than humans. If they were laid out flat, they would be around seven feet long on average. Otters would be a smaller breed, so Jareth would be around six feet long. Yes, he would be able to sing, though it wouldn't be any words! Just humming and playful yipping. As for family, I imagine that Jareth and Cole would have traveled together but were separated when Cole was taken in by a mermaid rescue. Since then, they have not seen one another. Jareths new family is with a pack of sirens- of all things. Sirens will often make permanent homes in caverns or island sides with running water. It's very common for a siren to have a pet otter! Otter mermaids will bring their "mates" pearls as a courting ritual. Sirens love pearls and will craft jewelry out of them, so many sirens will happily mate with and form loving relationships with otters in return for pearls. William befriended Jareth offering to be a mate with him due to the benefits it would offer both parties. However, Jareth would grow squirmish and often nip at William if he suggested any acts beyond cuddling. The sirens soon learned that Jareth desired no romantic or sexual relationship with them, rather he enjoyed platonic cuddling. So, now hes a favorite of theirs and he'll occasionally bring them shiny items. Jareth wouldn't mind humans, though he would be somewhat cautious of them. Humans see otter mermaids as pests since they can't form speech and likely do not understand it. They will usually flock the shores of beaches and dig for food. If not that, then they'll lay around and cuddle with one another lazily. Sometimes, humans will chase them or swat at them to get them to go away. However, it's uncommon for a human to seriously harm or hunt otter mermaids. Jareth has learned that human children will feed him on occasion, but besides that he doesn't interact much with them. His favorite activities are cuddling, nibbling on William's tail, chasing Williams tail, and making sounds.

I'm so glad you asked, Jareth has many stims. Unfortunately, a lot of them are very miniscule and hidden due to masking. Vocal stims are a big one for Jareth. This can be reciting the same small melody in a song over and over again, yipping, humming one note to feel the vibrations in his skull, and making sounds into the microphone while the others are discussing. A lot of his fans actually know some of his vocal stims without realizing it, as they can appear in his music. As for body stims, he will grind his teeth, gnaw on his knuckles, or gently tap his fist against his chest to feel the vibrations. On occasion if he's really excited (though it won't show on his face) he'll start to subtly flick his left hand up and down. This happens mainly when he's jamming out with his musicians making new music. Cole gives him gentle corrections for these behaviors, and advices him against showing them in public. Cole, unfortunately, just doesn't understand it.

Oh man, I'd have to say Neo My interpretation of him will be very different from others, but I find him to be rather daft. It's charming to me, and I enjoy characters that have a dull demeanor. The matrix is lovely, I rate it a solid 8/10 I have never enjoyed action films. This may be one of the only ones I have found enjoyable

They would all definitely have some different ideas about marriage, and some of their feelings don't match up. As far as my education goes, only two people can legally get married as of now :( However, I do think they would consider a marriage. Gene- being a romantic at heart- would like the idea of marriage. He would definitely be up to doing it, and may even be the one to propose. Ace would like the idea, but he would want a private wedding. He would be too anxious about certain reactions from people, and he wouldn't want it to be made into a big deal. Jobie would love the idea of marriage after it's first brought up. To be married to his lovers and for all of them to "have" one another. Then he would panick at the idea of no longer being allowed to sleep with William. After Ace explains that nothing would change except all of them wearing rings, he would be disinterested with the idea. Rory thinks that marriage is a construct

Unfortunately, no. William is currently the only person in his life who is kind to him. He has people in his life who theoretically should be important to him, but no. He has work friends, but they don't really feel like friends. He has a wife, but she doesn't really feel like a wife either. All of his kids are adults now, he only has one living at home. Really, he doesn't have many important relationships. (Except for maybe Cynthia. She's pretty important)

Ace would definitely identify as he/they, seeing himself as a masculine on some days and more nonbinary on others. The others would respect this, and Gene would always ask Ace what he'd prefer in the morning. The others would still identify as he/him Jareth would identify as nonbinary, and would go by they/them. Cole would not understand, but would be trying his best.

Ace is very in tune with the modern fashion of the 70s. He often wears the bell bottoms, slim turtle necks, and tucked in collared shirts for the time. He specifically has a more "disco" look to him, though ironically is terrified of that kind of crowd. Gene has a more toned town feel. If it's comfortable and practical, then he'll wear it. Wife beaters, flannels, jeans. He isn't one to branch out in his fashion choices, and has been wearing the same clothes since junior year of highschool. A gentlemanly country feel. Rorys only options are pants. He'll rarely choose anything slim fitting like Ace, he hates the feeling. Rather, he often wears corduroys or pajama pants. Jobie wears whatever he can steal from the others. He has a very baggy layered look.

Wow! Lots of questions. All of the answers to your questions can be found in my replies to other comments in this post. I will not be able to answer all of your questions in depth due to the dense amount of information for each one. However, I will do my best. Rory decided to leave as conveniently as possible for himself, thus leaving when no one was home. Unfortunately, this happened to be on the day that Gene admitted Jobie back into the mental hospital. When Gene came home, the house was empty. Gene was a bit in denial for the first few days. It was his belief that Rory would be back at some point, or perhaps needed some space. As the reality set in, he blamed himself for having not noticed Rory as much after Aces passing. He instead was very focused on Jobie, who was much more vocally distraught. He fell into a deep depression once coming to accept that he was completely alone. When it comes to Rory, he was close with everyone but closest with Jobie. They shared a room together and were naturally the most playful with eachother. This didn't mean he didn't have special moments with the others though. Yes, Gene loves Rory. Gene has never been good at expressing his feelings through facial expressions or through body language. He was actually the one who eased Ace into trying a relationship with three people, having found Rory to be a healthy social influence on Ace. As for the characters on my tiktok and how they relate to the poly relationship: William (the blonde) will occasionally pop by to see them and engage in intercourse, but he is not considered a part of their main relationship. They are not a closed relationship, and as long as there is communication they will often share affection with other people as well. William is the only one you have seen that is related to the poly boys! He is the only one who interacts with them as of now. Jareth and his manager (Cole) exist in the same world. Jareth is a very well known singer and writer from the UK. Both Jobie and Ace listen to his music. Samuel is from a completely different time line. The poly boys take place in the 1970s while Samuels story takes place in the 1990s Theodore (Dr. Phipps) only interacts with Gene very later on, and when they are a bit older. Rory and Jobie got along well the moment they met. Rory is much like a golden retriever in which he loves you the moment he meets you. Rory passed away due to a drug overdose It took a while for Ace to stop his anxiety over Rory. He felt immense shame and guilt for having attraction to him despite Gene constantly reassuring him that it was mutual. Gene had very little trouble with it. To him, it felt natural for the three of them to be together, and he didn't think much about it.

1) occasionally he'll do it himself, but it's a quality time thing for him and Ace. It started during those late night hang outs they both have, and if ever he wants them painted again then Ace will do it. Occasionally Ace will paint his own, but he gets too nervous about public reactions to do it as often as Jobie. 2) Well if I'm honest, Jobie and William only have a sexual relationship! Outside of the occasionally wriggly cuddling from Jobie, they are not as closely connected like Gene and William are. Jobie does not see William as one of "his boys", rather a friend who enjoys having sex with him. Of course, he is kind to William even if he can get tunnel vision for his lovers. 3) yes! Cornelius LOVES Cynthia. He was very cold towards her in the beginning much like he was to William, but after spending a few hours home alone with her he became very attached. He will often sneak her treats behind Williams back and buy her pajamas. 4) William has a very broad set of sexual interests, and he's good at appearing content with any and all encounters equally. However, he has a few that he occasionally gets to explore. William has a "mommy" kink, often enjoying being the care giver. He enjoys doing all of the work for preferably older pathetic men in bed. He enjoys being called mommy, getting begged to, and smothering his partner. He personally does not enjoy being seen as dominating or "in control." Rather, he enjoys completely "mothering" the partner. (This is why he and Cornelius make such a good pair in bed)

Though it isn't completely mapped out yet, Samuel is caught two years into his killings. It took so long due to neglect of the situation and corruption in the county's police department. The specific details of where he is caught and how it goes down is yet to be decided. I have multiple ideas, and I need to commit to one haha But what I can tell you is that he isn't compliant. Not until he's completely contained.

It was actually Gene who caught feelings for Ace first. When he was 15, his mother accidentally gifted him an adult novel. There was a cowboy on the cover, and she knew that Gene liked cowboys and reading so she got it for him. She was unaware of the contents. Through this specific novel, he found that he was attracted to both the masculine and feminine roles in the story, as well as catching himself putting Ace in place of the feminine lead. Though it was all kept to himself, he explored how he felt through these books and later on with mlm magazines. He didn't quite know what he was at the time, but he knew he was attracted to both men and women. And that he was attracted to Ace. Politely, it was kept to himself. Ace had a far rougher journey to accepting his sexuality and his feelings for Gene. He had experienced embarrassing dreams about Gene, as well as fantasies. However, he wrote it off as something being wrong with himself and ignored them. Even when Gene got a girlfriend, he didn't realize that his raging jealousy was from his own affection. Rather, he assumed it was because he was losing his best friend. As for when the stars finally aligned, that was a bit rocky as well. There was no specific click moment where they both confessed. It was the 60s, and such things were incredibly scary. Especially when it was your best friend. The flirting began as highschool was ending. Smaller things like brushing their hands against one another, or having dirty conversations. Just little things that they could get away with. When they began to get more serious, it was Ace who would constantly pull away. If a certain night looking at the stars was a bit too flirty or romantic, Ace would get anxious and avoid Gene the next day. The first time they kissed, Ace was overjoyed yet immediately left in a panic. And the first time they got more intimate, Ace burst into tears and rejected Gene's attempts to comfort him. Ace was terrified of being queer for a long time. He was taught that it meant something was wrong with him, and it should be very easy to be attracted to women. However, through a lot of patience from Gene and a lot of acceptance, Ace was able to feel safe with him again. It's just like being best friends, but you get to kiss.

Yes, Arlo is related to your dearest Samuel haha Though, it is likely that he has never met him. He is a cousin to Samuel, though he is about five or so years younger than him. Charlie Kasper (Samuels father) is Arlo's uncle. However, Arlo is living with his grandparents on the other side of the family. Unfortunately, he had to be removed from a hoarding home situation at a young age. Along with that, Charlie has cut himself off from his parents and siblings (including their entire families) in hopes to shield a young Samuel from generational trauma. Due to this, I can't imagine Arlo has ever met Samuel at an age that he can remember. Arlo would only find out about his older cousin's murders when Sam is caught. In truth, I haven't been able to develop Arlo much! He's meant as an extra character or a background character. He would enjoy writing and poetry, though it's something he would keep completely to himself. I'll update this if I develop him more :)

Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of talking to his parents about it. It became an unspoken thing, something they just don't talk about. His mother absolutely changed in the way she saw him. Unfortunately, she has 'old fashioned' ideologies, and didn't know how to handle the situation other than completely shutting Gene out. Even when he moved back in, he was treated more like a house guest by her rather than a son. She was never directly cold or aggressive towards him, just distant and unsure. She also doesn't want to bring up Ace whatsoever. She won't allow herself to grieve who she considered her second son. With that, she had mixed feelings about the two having been romantic. At times she's mad at Ace, at times she misses him dearly. Rambo had known for a long time that Gene wasn't straight. Although the idea of his son having been with so many people was a shock to him, he never treated Gene any differently. He doesn't really understand it, but he knows his boy doesn't make stupid decisions. So luckily, Gene and Rambo would continue to have the same relationship. Which is still a rather silent one. Something sweet to end this on though- Rambos last conversation with Gene before he passed away consisted of him attempting to explain to Gene that he was proud of him. But Rambo is terrible with words, so he just resorts to a hug.

unfortunately, there was massive news coverage about the incident with Jeremiah. Ace wasnt the only one who died, about five people ended up dying. It was in the papers, radio, and in the TV broadcasting for a month or so, many channels milking the story. A bunch of dead queers! All having been in relations with one another! What a story! Jeremiah confesses to everything in court, pleading guilty. However, this includes his honesty about his romantic relationship with one of the victims. Gene, Jobie, and Rory are all completely outted to the public, and even harassed for interviews for a short period of time. It was a heavily negative reaction from the public... This is how Gene's parents found out as well

Some of this I have answered in the question just above this one :) William's anatomy leans towards masculine, but he possesses a slit between where his testicles are that can be used intimately. Its 3.5 inches long, thus he often won't fit someone fully inside of it. He cannot get pregnant, the slit leads to no reproductive organs. Due to this, his testicles never fully dropped, rather they are two puffy bulges rather than something hanging down. As for his length, it is tender and more pink/red in color compared to most. It's where he gets most of his pleasure. Unfortunately, William is infertile because of his anatomy. Though, he does not know it. As for the other questions, please refer to my answer to the question just above this one :)

Being intersex has impacted William greatly, though I haven't had the chance to expand on it due to him being a background character. I can only produce so much content at a time :) William was born into a radically religious group, of which practiced multiple wives for one husband. When he was born, he was a shock to the family, and was immediately seen as a test from God. He was "deformed", as they said. (This is a trigger word for him, and he shuts down completely when it is said to him.) Unfortunately, despite Williams's often peaceful appearance, this still affects him. There was little to no education on intersex people in the 70s, and even today we are lacking of it. So at times, William is met with disgust and horror when he becomes intimate with someone. Some people love him for it, some people find it confusing and gross. William has seen and experienced both, and the latter definitely hurts no matter how many times he has experienced it. However, William over shares himself rather than hiding himself. He's open to anyone and everyone, and that's how he copes. Luckily for him, the closer people that surround him (the poly boys, Cornelius, and his cat, Cynthia 🐱) do not fetishize him nor do they enjoy sex with him only because he is intersex. Note- I am still learning about intersex people! And who William is has so much more to do with his personality rather than his genitals, so it has yet to be a topic I've discussed heavily. Is he effected by it? Yes. But it is not his whole self and his whole arc I want to represent correctly and healthily though, so if ever I say something incorrect, I am absolutely open to taking corrections. Sam lacks many hobbies. He is not artistic or crafty in any way, nor does he posses any real skills. I suppose you could say he enjoys people watching Samuel is heavily inspired off of Ed Kemper (big Ed) and Dennis Nilsen, though I do not condone or admire them in any way. He has a few methods, he is terribly inconsistent which is inconvenient for authorities At one time, he would disassemble a victim and keep them in the fridge when he was done with them. This evolved into keeping a hand full of people in his floorboards. Then, in his backyard. This evolved into the woods, but his methods were often not consistent and he would make decisions on a whim. So he may go back and forth on methods. Or may even dump a person in a garbage bin if he was feeling lazy.

Unfortunately, Gene is hit with a massive amount of hurt all at once during that time. He cannot find a job due to his public image being that of the "queer polygamist" on the news. Thus, he is forced to go back home with his parents and live with them for a while. His mother often wont speak to him out of shame, but Rambo treats Gene the exact same. Gene visits Jobie once during this time, but it upsets Jobie enough that the staff have to resort to tazing him to get him under control. This was incredibly mentally taxing on Gene. He planned to see Jobie again soon after, but his father passed away from a heart attack. A few days later, his mother then died of heart break, leaving him completely alone in the house. William had also gone missing during this time. Gene was incredibly alone at this point in his life, now watching his parents home on his own while attempting to manage multiple amounts of grief at once. He made the decision not to visit Jobie again until he himself was mentally prepared. He wanted to be ready to take Jobie out and fully care for him. To do that, he needed to be ready. However, he never got that visit again. Three days before Gene planned to visit, he learned through news on the TV and the radio that the asylum had caught flame over night. By morning it was nearly completely engulfed. They were fully certain that the fire was caused by Jobie, and nurses accounted that he fled into the woods after breaking through a window. Gene spent two weeks driving around looking for him. He never found him.

Jobie's parents are still around, though they are in a retirement home. Ruby took the initiative of paying for their admission there, seeing that they were no longer fit enough to provide for themselves. Jobie doesn't know where they are, and he truthfully wouldn't go searching for them. Ruby is currently sorting out a divorce with a certain manager she had the mistake of marrying. The man was a poorly suited husband to her, and she assumes him to be unfaithful She is also struggling with gaining custody of the children. Unlike her sibling though, she has somewhat made it in the music industry. Lila is doing what her mother did. Going from audition to audition only to get cast in supporting roles. However, she does not have the false delusion of being a star. Rather, she's incredibly frustrated with it, and feels as though she's been cheated. Neither of them have any interest in Jobie, and he has no interest in them. Lila may attempt to reach out to him at some point to check on how he's doing, but she would be horrified to find out he's living with three random men.

Though Rory is incredibly good at molding into new environments, he has a bit of a tough time when it came to home-living culture He would do rude things without recognizing they're impolite. For example, using the shower for far longer than needed, drinking straight from the milk carton, or walking around nude. For a long while, he was incredibly uncomftorable sleeping on a mattress, but slowly got used to it as the nights went on. When it came to health concerns, Ace heavily pushed for Rory to go see a doctor. They helped fix up some of his teeth, but that's the extent that Rory would allow. (Hes actually got some broken bones that have healed incorrectly!)

Haha as much I love Sam and love drawing him, I'm so scared of talking about him! He's pretty terrible Truth be told, he had a perfectly normal childhood. His father, Charlie Kasper, was a writer for children's books. Rather than continuing the drip of family trauma, he wanted to be for Sam what his own father wasn't for him. Though child psychology wasn't as studied in the 80s as it is now, he did his best to learn and understand it so he could raise his son correctly. Unfortunately, he was given Samuel as a son. Samuel was born unable to feel empathy. He was born without the correct motors to feel any kind of emotions for others. He could indeed feel frustration, anger, and envy, but there were clear behavioral issues from him at a very young age. In Samuels head, he truly believed that he was the only conscious being. When school began, his behavioral issues became very apparent. He had no boundaries with the other children and would often touch them purposefully to make them uncomfortable. He refused to speak to his teachers and peers, and lacked the ability to follow directions. Charlie took Sam to see a specialist, and he was WRONGLY diagnosed with autism. Due to the lack of information at the time, young Sam was assumed to simply be autistic, and his more concerning behaviors were neglected. This is something that Sam uses to his advantage for the rest of his life, and it allows his odd behaviors to be over looked, even in adulthood. "Oh Sam? No, no he's a gentle giant. Just a big sweetheart." That's all I'll say for now about his backstory! ;) As for fun facts- >Samuel works in biohazard cleanup! He previously worked at Subway and Walmart >Samuel could be considered introverted, sure >Samuel is queer, though he hasn't put much thought into it. Someone like you and me would call him gay, but he doesn't see it like that >He wears the same hat and jacket every single day. He was eager! Despite his initial confusion towards the boys being intimate, over the span of a month or so he began to feel that he should be included. Very strongly. He initiated the first moment of intimacy between himself and Gene in the kitchen while Gene was making dinner, attempting to slip his hands up Gene's shirt. Because it hadn't been discussed with the others- or even thought of before that moment- Gene shooed him off with a gentle scolding, not thinking much of it. Jobie attempted more intimate behavior through cuddling with the boys, and over time things like neck nibbling incorporated into his behavior with them. His first time with them however came very naturally. There was no sitting down and talking about it, it happened smoothly due to Jobie already seeming to be romantic with the three of them. Jobie initiated more suggestive play with Rory while they were watching a film. Rory responded positively to this, and Gene soon joined in. Ace didn't participate during their first time with Jobie, still being unsure about him. However, he and Jobie later found their bonding during their sleepless nights together :)

I truly wish I could pump out content as quickly as it comes into my head, but the story telling for these characters has slowed due to it being told through art :( I'll tell you a bit here though, and hopefully I will be able to show more about them later on :) Jobie barely knew either of his sisters. By the time he was old enough to have any kind of consciousness, the last one was just about to move out. The oldest, Ruby, has an incredibly deep resentment towards both of her parents. She absolutely believes that they are utterly insane, and despises her mother especially. She was told from a very young age that she simply does not have the 'star quality' that her younger sister has. Thus, she should settle for a minimum wage life style. Just to spite her parents, she leaves home at 17 and becomes a somewhat successful singer. She sings in night clubs or events, and makes a decent living out of it. By the age of 21, she was performing at the 'Tad Pole Glass' on Wednesday nights, located in Canterbury. After a show in which she performed 'Somethin Stupid' by Frank Sinatra, she was approached by a short man with birthmarks speckling his features. He told her- "Now listen, I've only been in this business for some months now, but my dear you have got... It! Whatever that may be." However, this man had no intentions of managing her. Rather, he found her romantically alluring. As for the younger sister, Lila, she unfortunately shares in her parents delusional thinking. She was told from a very young age that she would become a famous actress much like her mother, who coached her in her acting. She makes a career in playing 'extras' in film. Though, she still believes her big debut will still come to her. Jobie has a vague memory of the two sisters. Ruby has never visited, and he had met Lila only once when he was in his early teens.

As well as his first name linking to when his mother would call for him to ridicule him. Rambo (Gene's father) called him Ace after Ace won a card game. I would like to create more Cornelius content, yes :) He is Spanish, but his last three generations were born and raised in America. His love life is somewhat complicated, or at least he thinks it is. The only man he has ever been with and plans to be with is William, who he meets during an ongoing divorce with his wife. Yes, he has an affair. He indeed has shame about William, and still denies that he is queer in any way. He justifies his actions over the fact that William is intersex. William is incredibly fond of Cornelius. Unfortunately, he is drawn to older men, especially those who seem lonely and somewhat pathetic. William and Cornelius are somewhat exclusive. Cornelius is Williams only official partner who he is consistent with, but he continues to sleep around. Cornelius doesn't understand Williams sex life, so William does his best to keep it away from Cornelius. The truth of the matter is that William genuinely loves Cornelius very dearly. He adores him, and finds him to be incredibly attractive. Cornelius himself has a deep love for William as well. He desperately wants to be taken care of and nurtured, which is Williams favorite job.

Unfortunately, Jareth's stardom never truly dies down. Think of David Bowie or Michael Jackson. Even in death they still have a raging fan base! Jareth would continue to have devoted followers up to old age and through his years of dementia. However, he does get to experience peace in his last few years. As Cole begins to notice a rapid decline in Jareth's mental state, he pulls Jareth completely from the public eye.

1) absolutely, I'm so glad you asked this From day one, he disliked Jeremiah and saw him as a threat to the group. Jobie just assumes that his nervousness towards Jeremiah is a vision of something bad that may happen. Though in reality, his dislike comes from his distrust of natural red heads. He absolutely blames himself for having not stopped it, or having not had the right vision to know. Unfortunately, this anger and guilt drives him completely mad. Rory has little to no reaction. After Aces death, he does nothing but smoke and watch TV. Only once does he scold Jobie one night for keeping him up with his sobbing since they share a room. He nudges him with his foot and tells him to go sleep on the couch. Gene doesn't react well. He grieves very internally and actually doesn't want to talk about Ace openly, he'd rather keep it to himself. But Jobie's constant emotional outbursts and confessions of guilt are incredibly upsetting to him. As well as Jobie saying things like "no one listened to me! I never liked him!" He feels as though it's disrespectful to Ace. Disrespectful in the sense that Jobie saw it coming, or that he could've stopped it. In Gene's mind, nothing could have stopped it. And he unfortunately loses his temper with Jobie a few times. Never would Gene hit Jobie or any of the boys, and he never does. He's only snapped at him or shouted at times which is incredibly rare for him. 2) yes, he would have :) He would have gone by he/they pronouns depending on the day. Though he still leans more towards masculine presenting, there are certainly days in which he wishes he was somewhere in-between

As of now, there is not a canon afterlife. Though I feel that on occasion, the boys can feel Ace's presence, I haven't put much thought into there being a real afterlife. It's something I would have to consider, but it's very unlikely :) Jareths favorite food changes. He'll get very fixated on a certain food and only wants to eat that food over and over again until he finds the next one. He grew up in Liverpool, though was a bit more wealthy then the average person there Anything to do with music is his interest. He knows an extensive amount of music theory, music culture, and music language. He is illiterate! He knows how to write sheet music and notes without issue, but he still struggles with words. Infact, Cole specifically hired a 'Jareth translator' who reads through his sheet music and rewrites the lyrics on another piece of paper so they can be understood. He has a secret space under his bed with blankets and a lamp where he hides away sometimes. He suffers from severe imposter syndrome

Of my boys, Ace handles them the best. He actually rather enjoys the horror genre and is usually the one to suggest it. (He thinks the big scary men are hot but don't tell the others that) Jobie can handle it just fine at the moment, but later on he'll begin to get a bit paranoid, growing convinced that perhaps that he saw on the screen was actually a message about what is to come. So, they avoid having him see horror films. Gene does not like horror films. He prefers his romance stories about cowboys and bandits. A woman having to run from an axe murderer is not his idea of a good time. Rory usually does fine with horror films, but it's definitely not his go-to choice. The idea of a human wishing to take another human life is what creeps him out the most, his parents having never previously taught him that serial killers exist. William doesn't dislike horror, understanding why some people enjoy it, but he finds it a bit sad. There's often a lack of plot outside of the scary stuff to him, and gore is something he finds disheartening. Jareth is very sensitive to horror and any gore. Cole finds horror ridiculous. Why on earth would anyone want to depict such a thing? It's absurd really... Sam likes most horror films, but can grow to get frustrated if he believes they aren't done right. He gets very sucked into them and dislikes when a certain character has been living for far too long. But he really enjoys horror

Gene and Ace - These two are incredibly comfortable with one another, or as comfortable as Ace can get. Through years of an intimate relationship, both boys have had time to learn each other's interests. They're often rather tender with each other, though Gene will occasionally get a bit rough with Ace like hair pulling and man handling if Ace is in the mood. Out of everyone, they definitely roleplay the most, which Ace secretly loves and can only do with Gene. Genes favorite is cowboys, Aces favorite is robber/criminal. Sometimes they'll mix this into cowboys and bandits. Ace still can get embarrassed during these sessions and need to stop. Gene is very good at recognizing this. Gene and Jobie- Jobie definitely thinks he's the big alpha in the house, and absolutely loves topping Gene because of this. Out of everyone, Gene is probably his favorite due to the 'free use' allowance that Gene has. As well as having the This is all consensual! Gene could be cooking dinner, reading, watching TV, or brushing his teeth, and Jobie may decide he is horny. Jobie completely respects when Gene isn't in the mood :) Gene and Rory- Mainly, Gene will only get head from Rory and only when Rory offers. He recognizes that Rory- though back then they didn't know what asexuality was- isn't super interested in sex outside of the quality time that it has. Ace and Jobie- These two usually get it on solo at night when both can't sleep. It helps exhaust Jobie, and helps relieve Ace from being alone. Ace actually really enjoys these rounds with Jobie. There is a lack of shame from Jobie that is incredibly comforting to him, as well as not having to do much work. He is completely admired and sought after without any barriers. Ace and Rory- Ace and Rory don't often do much with eachother unless they're in a group setting. Occasionally Rory will give Ace a blowie, but Ace gets anxious that Rory doesn't get aroused, feeling guilty for having Rory perform acts on him without being as into it. Jobie and Rory- These two get along wonderfully in bed, Rory usually performing oral for Jobie which Jobie absolutely loves. Rory is incredibly good at it, and Jobie jumps at the opportunity of an offer at any time. It's quality time, and it's speedy. Very efficient. Occasionally Rory will bottom for Jobie but he really only does that in a group session rather than solos.

Old ghosts come back to haunt him, and despite wishing to be present to support Gene in his grieving, he has to flee his home and move away. William did this in a rather aloof manner. Gene didn't find out William was gone until driving to his home to discover a new family had moved in.

As for why he passed away, there isn't a reason. When people die, it's unexpected, and there is no reason as to why. I can tell you that it isn't just for the fun of it. His death is a major plot point, if not the main one. It drives the rest of the story, the journey that the others take, and shows sides of the other characters that you hadn't seen before.

His murder was not premeditated, nor was it purposeful A group that Ace and the boys are close to were having a dinner. Ace was the only one available to come at the time, thus decided to go alone since he had enough trust with that group. A partner (Jeremiah) to one of the men in that group came in while in the midst of an episode. Jeremiah suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, and had eaten an edible accidentally which heightens his symptoms. His partner brought him into the guest room to calm down, then left to get him a cup of water. However, the sounds of people talking in the room over spooked Jeremiah into the reality that whoever these people were, were not real. They were imposters. So, as a scared defense mechanism, he emerged from the room with a small gun he had brought, and shot each person there. Ace was shot second to last, and had nearly gotten out through the front door. Unlike the others, he did not die instantly. It took him around seven minutes to choke on his own blood before he passed away. During which, Jeremiah called the police, and held Ace attempting to turn him on his side and save him. Ace tried to crawl away three times before he became too weak. Ace knew Jeremiah before this event. Though he didn't know jeremiah as well as the others, he was still fond of him since he has a slight resemblance to Gene.

1) Ace's relationship with his mother is a very poor relationship. His mother labels people very quickly, and he was immediately labeled as the 'evil' child when he was born. Though she loved the attention of being pregnant, she was not expecting to have a darker skinned baby despite having slept with a darker skinned man. Ace was also born after she previously had a miscarriage, which she also blames on Ace. He was a disappointment in place of what surely would have been a perfect child. She treated him with this mind set during his entire childhood, and still in his adulthood. Unfortunately, Ace's older brother also treated him in this manner simply because it's what he thought was right. Naturally, children will follow the lead of a parent. 2) no, he was never in the picture. Ace's mother has a deep desire for any kind of positive attention. During her first pregnancy with her first husband, she learned how she can milk attention from others. After her husband left her, she had a few night stands which lead to her second pregnancy and eventual miscarriage. She repeated the process and once again became pregnant, now finding the 'single mother' persona to be incredibly fulfilling. So no, Ace never knows his father. Nor does Ace's father know he even has a child somewhere out there. 3) no. Unfortunately, this is a mother-son relationship that cannot be fixed. The best thing Ace can do is distance himself from her 4) his birthdays were somewhat ignored. He would still get one or two presents, but his mother would often accuse him of being ungrateful. Thus, why he hates opening presents in front of other people. He dislikes celebrating his birthday now even in adulthood. It makes him anxious, and he's unsure how to react to things correctly. The boys celebrate his birthday by having the day be a completely casual one. They allow Ace to open presents in the privacy of his room so he doesn't feel he needs to give a reaction. 5) no, he wasn't allowed 6) yes, his mother made a massive deal about his funeral! Though it was not about Ace, it was about her. How awful it must be to lose your youngest son! Ace's "roommates" were not invited. Though, they held their own funeral at Genes house with his parents. However, once it was revealed to the public that the four men were all romantic partners, she once again disowned Ace even in death. She threw Ace's ashes away despite multiple requests from Gene's family to have them.

Ace is shy about asking for such a thing. Though, Gene wishes he would ask more. Having been a partner to Ace for so long, Gene has gotten a pretty good grasp on Ace's desires, and can perform them if Ace is in the mood. Ace will sometimes try to ask, but gets too flustered, will cover his face, and say nevermind. Gene usually knows what he means

Ace himself does not have BPD, the behaviors are learned from his mother. So he has BPD tendencies :) In his particular case, he has a deep worry about what the other boys think about him. What he looks like, how he talks, how he behaves, if he is good enough. Though he is actively working to get better at this, it can still cause an episode. He picks up miniscule things the others may say or do and may misinterpret them, taking things defensively at times. This will slowly pile up as he keeps them in. Gene knows when he's spiraling and about to have an episode, as Ace begins to get incredibly closed off and slightly back handed. Till finally, something tips him and he splits on them. Rather than accusatory statements, his episodes are often filled with words of "You all hate me, you should leave me, I know how ugly you all think I am, I'm so disgusting" And so on. He does yell, and it can unfortunately be alarming. However, Gene has found the best way to handle it is to not enable or engage with Ace when he's splitting. Rather, he waits until Ace is switched back to himself rather than in the headspace of his mother. Then they can sit down and talk about it in a healthy manner. BPD is heavily stigmatized. Ace is not an evil person, and he is not a narcissist. He is also working to communicate better. He has big feelings (though internal) and is actually incredibly empathetic to other people.

I believe it's half coincidence! I hadn't realized they were similar until I was animating for Puppet Boy. Because I heavily based Jobie off of Boingo Music, I think I subconsciously leaked a lot of myself into his design by accident. Though, his personality is quite different from myself :)

When it comes to verbal affection, Rory or Ace are probably best at it. Rory will throw around 'i love you man' left and right to each of the boys. As well as giving casual praise and compliments. Ace is far more shy with it, but will often make gentle comments about how he appreciates something someone else is doing. As well as compliments in hopes to boost the other's confidence Gene and Jobie are more quiet about their affection. Gene shows it mainly through acts of service and only the very firm 'i love you' every once in a while. Jobie struggles terribly with verbal affection. It's just one of those things he doesn't do. Though it takes a while for the others to understand, his affection comes from gifts and body language only. He very rarely will compliment or say 'i love you.'

Unfortunately, they've had their experiences They are not vocal or obvious about their relationship. Since they're from the 70s, polyamory was not well known or accepted. Especially with multiple men. So to the public eye, they are nothing more than roommates. Though, this doesn't always convince those around them. Seeing a pack of hippies minding their business could upset some folks back then. Ace has definitely gotten the most ridicule from the public eye due to his long hair and skin color. This mostly involves verbal remarks towards him and glares. Only once or twice has he had someone confront him physically. But yes, they've definitely received a gentle amount of discrimination. However, when it comes to their friends they choose very carefully. They have friends outside of the group that are oblivious to the relationship, and friends that know all about the relationship. For example, the boys are good friends with another poly group made by a pal of mine. They all know of one another's relationships. But if Gene were to make a friend at work, he wouldn't tell them a thing about his 'roommates'.

During the time that Gene is still working, Gene works as a cook at a breakfast diner, and a roof tile man (construction) Later, he works at a car repair place with a married man named Ray, who tries to hit on him once or twice. Since Gene doesn't recognize when he's getting hit on, he didn't reciprocate the feelings.

Gene actually couldn't afford to pay for their home anymore after Rory left, so he ended up moving back in with his parents to help with the house and the chickens. Unfortunately, a year later his father died of a heart attack and his mother died of a broken heart. So he ended up staying in his parents home, tending to the animals. The neighborhood kids actually refer to him as 'crazy old man Gene', and come up with scary stories about the silent older man who lives all alone. It's hard to imagine my characters to be alive today, but out of everyone he would likely still be living.

Unfortunately, no. Rory did not sign up for the conflict in the group, it's something he can't handle. When Ace passed away, he personally began to shy away from Gene and Jobie. Jobie became more erratic and difficult to be around while Gene was stern, distant, and irritable. Rory began to leave the house for longer and longer periods of time, often staying nights somewhere else. Unfortunately, his coping mechanism was to pump himself full of drugs to avoid grieving, which worked temporarily. The very day that Gene left to drop off Jobie, Rory packed his things and left. He left no note and no sign of return. He once again became a hitch hiker who was now running away from his past, trying to forget the group and lacking guilt due to the drugs. So Gene came home to an empty house that day.

Sam can be forceful at times, and in all honesty somewhat selfish. He is emotionally immature, and is not fun in bed unless you genuinely enjoy a rough man handling. If you like gruffy growls, big forceful hands, and the idea of 'breeding', then Sam would be just fine with you. William is wonderful! He loves intimacy with whoever, whenever. The more the merrier, but he enjoys a session with one single person just as much! He will make you feel special. To him, it's a very deep connection between each person that he sleeps with, and he'll ensure that you have a good time. Whether that puts him in a more dominant position, or a more submissive one. He is down to do most things! Ask and he'll provide. In general though, he has a more peaceful air about him in bed. Very intimate, very loving. Hand holding is a big thing for him, as well as deep slower rounds that are drawn out. (A big reason why he and Gene connect so well!) He mostly moans in his normal whispy tone, and only when it's genuine. He usually is quieter. Jareth- as of right now- is a virgin. Despite being a person of great fame, he has yet to sleep with anyone, and still has quite a bit of hesitation around it. He would likely be overly sensitive, and wouldn't be able to finish. If he ended up finding a partner he could connect with enough with a lot of trust, he would likely find that he enjoys a slightly more dominant role. As well as preferring not to be ridden. He'd be cuddly! He likely wouldn't moan or make sounds. Perhaps the occasional huff here and there.

Ace had a slow turn with Jobie, but one moment in particular is what finally flipped the switch. Ace often has a difficult time sleeping, and one night Jobie wandered into his room for company. The two finally got some time alone, and Ace quickly learned that Jobie isn't impulsive or dangerous in the slightest. He just expresses himself a bit differently than Ace is used to. Ace actually finds many things that Jobie does endearing. He deeply enjoys that Jobie insists that they all sit on his lap rather than the other way around. He likes how 'alpha male' Jobie thinks he is, and sometimes will play into it. He also finds Jobie to be the easiest to be intimate with. He doesn't ask questions or say much, he just enjoys Ace and is done. No drawn out teasing or anxiety, just a swift reassuring round. Completel with many neck nibbles! Jobie will mindlessly nibble the neck of those that he is close to. Ace also enjoys this a lot :) He likes the night time surprise visits, and the way he wrestles with Rory. He absolutely adores him, and at times is amused by him!

Jobie and Rory will rarely dress up, but adore when Ace dresses them up like Barbie dolls :)

Welcome! its not a silly question at all, I have yet to go into depth about my background characters. William is a lawyer who goes by Bill with clients or those outside of his love life. He is an incredibly affectionate and peaceful man who finds the poly boys to be a delightful bunch. In terms of his relationship to the poly boys, he is not within their inner circle of the relationship, but will visit on occasion and sleep with them on occasion. He is a good friend to them, and he sees intercourse as a far more inclusive activity than others. We'll say he's definitely a people person! He is closest with Gene in the group, the two men having a very subtle connection that the others don't have with William. Both platonically and romantically.

Jareth is rather quite and tame despite the public eye thinking he is incredibly witty and charming. He is mistakenly seen as a mad genius when it comes to music, being interoperated as a quirky silly man with a God-like gift. He is treated like a God and very dehumanized by the public. In reality, he is a very gentle man with timid mannerisms, and truly has difficulty building any kind of social life outside of his brother (his manager) and his co-workers. Who in all honesty, also treat him like a famous object. Nothing but a product to be distributed and sold. Unfortunately, this has caused a great amount of Imposter Syndrome for Jareth, as well as having no sense of self. I hopefully will be getting more content out about him soon! I would like to later go more into depth about his character and his struggles in being famous.

1) yes, Rory indeed has experience in poly relationships before the boys. He was travelling from hippie group to hippie group ever since a young age, so those kinda of relationships were normalized to him. Infact, when he was introduced to society outside of his hiking people, he was very stunned to find that gay relationships were not normal 2) Ace and Gene are from a small town in Arizona, Rory is from the woods of California (they don't know where precisely he was born), and Jobie is from Hollywood in California 3) though the idea of Jobie being a pirate sounds fun, I think I'd like to make him a shark mermaid! Rory would be a mermaid as well Jobie would be a tiger shark Rory would be a green sunfish Ace is a white Betta fish William would be a siren And Samuel is a megalodon shark 4) unfortunately, no! It was just some doodle ideas :) 5) welcome! Very often! It would be unusual to have a day without a little sprinkling of 'messing around' Though a big group love session would only occur once a week or so since it can be quite exhausting Certain boys will take a break every now and then for a day or two, usually Ace. It is always respected, but because there are four of them there is usually some kind of raunchy activities going on if someone else isn't in the mood. They help eachother out :) When it comes to their different levels of need- Jobie is by far the most horny, and often needs to mess around with one of his boys at least once a day to be happy and healthy. Gene is moderately contained, only occasionally rejecting advances due to being 'out of the mood.' But typically, he is easily turned on by the others and will partake or help in activities. Ace is very shy about his needs still, only really being open about them to Gene. He typically won't start something, and can only hope Jobie will start harassing him, or Gene will take notice and soothe his needs. Rory doesn't get aroused, and actually doesn't need sex personally to be happy. However, he loves helping others! So much Despite being asexual and not personally needing sexual pleasure, it is still a love language towards physical touch, and he loves helping out his boys :)

Jobie was just having a normal day For Ace, the idea of Gene being away for a long period of time is stressful due to Gene being the stability of the group. So having Rory and Jobie conspiring together without Gene there to tell them 'no' or 'dont eat that' stressed Ace out He's a worrier :)

Gene definitely has moments where he has to grab Jobie (Like a puppy getting grabbed by its scruff), but Jobie typically doesn't enjoy being picked up unless its during play fighting. Yes, the boys definitely give head Getting head from Rory is euphoric, since he has no gag reflex. It's the most common thing that he does for the others, and he's usually happy to do it whenever. If one of the lads needs a quick blowie, Rory is on it with a hair tie and confidence. (Jobie abuses Rory's ability. He absolutely loves Rory's mouth) Gene gives exceptional head. He'll swallow what's given to him to prevent a clean up, and then kiss you goodnight. Ace will give head, but it can make him anxious. The sounds it makes and how he probably looks can embarrass him on occasion. If the lad he's sucking doesn't climax within a certain time frame, he worries he's doing bad and starts to lose confidence. Jobie doesn't exactly give head, but he likes to toy with their lengths. William enjoys spending time with them indeed. His favorite thing is listening to other people talk, so it's easy for him to get along with others. However, he only visits on rare occasions and usually won't stay the night. He is intimate with all of them, sometimes all at once or in little groups. He knows exactly what they all like (except for Ace) and executes it in bed for them. Note: William is intersex His anatomy leans heavier towards male, but he was born with a slit that has a short canal within. He cannot get pregnant, and never got surgery for it since he comes from a heavily religious family. He indeed allows the others to use it during intimacy, but it doesn't function as well as his male leaning genetalia. This was very very confusing for some of the boys at first! But it's also why so many people fancy William so much ;)

Jobie only rarely will have nights that include visual hallucinations. These hallucinations are often a dark figure in the corner of the room, closet, or at the door. Feeling deeply as though it's his job to protect the others, he will stay up throughout the entire night watching the figure to ensure it stays put. The others are only made aware if they wake up and see him sitting up. Besides that, he won't indicate to the others what's happening. Visual hallucinations also can come in quick flashes. He can see a figure duck around a corner and have to go check, only to find no one there. Most of Jobies psychosis evolves around the strong belief that he is a prophet of some kind. He strongly believes that he is a bridge to "what has already been and what will be." He describes it as: everyone else has an arrow of time while his is a circle. He knows the past and future through auditory "tellings" from this circle. It makes absolutely no sense when he explains it, but to Jobie it is very real and very genuine.

Gene and Ace have known each other since around kindergarten age They met Rory in their early twenties and had been with him for two or three years before meeting Jobie. I imagine that they've known Jobie for about a year or so now

Jobie strictly tops no matter which partner he's with. He just doesn't want to bottom, it isn't for him Rory mainly bottoms since he usually can't get aroused enough to top. Ah I see :) Ace is incredibly internal about such things despite how deeply such small events can ruin his day. He will become quieter and closed off, usually retreating into his room if the news upset him enough Rory, in all honesty, immediately gaslights himself into thinking it's fine. A rejection of those icky bad feelings that do no good for anyone. Rory does not get in a negative mood. He's very avoidant of negativity in any way. Jobie is more open about his discontent in a situation. He will talk about it, try to change the situation if possible, then be a bit grumpy for an hour or so. Once it's passed, he may still be bothered but no longer upset. Gene handles it like a champ. He is very accepting of life not going his way sometimes, and if there's nothing he could've done about it then he shouldn't worry about it. Whatever he's upset about can be resolved later or forgotten about in time. However, if something has genuinely upset him to the point of losing his temper, he will go visit his parents for a day or so

If Ace let himself moan, he would probably be the loudest. However, he silences himself so it's just breathy Rory is chatty, but not loud Gene will groan on occasion or huff Jobie is likely the loudest of them. He is unapologetically vocal Ace doesn't have anything in particular he likes to eat (he struggles with meals) Jobie likes french toast And Rory likes Genes spaghetti, which is what he makes the most of

Gene was actually the first to accept he may have possible confusing feelings for Ace. He was accidentally given an erotic western book when he was 15 by his mother, who thought it was just a book about cowboys. Rather than imagining the female lead as who she was, he found himself imagining it to be Ace. He knew something about that was off. As for Ace, he had developed 'odd' fantasies about his friend early on during puberty. He assumed them to be something that was wrong with him that he wouldn't tell others, still labelling Gene as nothing more than a friend. His feelings however became more apparent to him after Gene had his first girlfriend at 16. He became incredibly jealous. When it comes to how their relationship formed, it was a very slow burn. Gene began to tease the idea of cuddling and more romantic compliments, to which Ace took a very fast liking to. Ace- despite being quick at first and accepting of the romance- would get panicked on occasion and distance himself. For example, the first time they began to get more intimate, he stopped mid make-out and began to cry simply because he was so ashamed. Gene and Ace finally sat down together and talked about what was happening. What all of the suggestive behavior and teasing meant. It was there that they came to terms that they were not just friendship. And though neither wanted to label it, they decided that they were lovers. First getting into a poly relationship was really scary and confusing for Ace! Just like being with Gene had originally been really scary and confusing. He felt immense guilt and constantly asked if what they were doing was okay. If it was wrong or if it was cheating. Gene on the other hand had a much easier time with the idea. Having seen how much Rory and Ace get along (both romantically and platonically), he couldn't help but invite Rory over ;) Like how he didn't think much about his and Ace's relationship, he doesn't think much of being poly. He's not worried about it. Everyone's happy and getting along, that's what matters.

Jobie had absolutely no idea that men could be with other men whatsoever. He ended up spending a lot of time with the boys and began to pick up on their romantic behavior with one another. At first, he out right objected to it, assuming that Gene would agree with him. However, Gene normalizing the situation is what normalized it to Jobie. He became romantic with them slowly over time, it didn't happen right away or in an instant. He began to get cuddly with them because he wanted to be included, then he would ask if he could stay the night. By the time they were outright romantic with Jobie, it felt natural. Thus, there wasn't much discussion about it.

For Gene, it's his mother's cooking. Both the smell and the taste. It's one of the big reasons as to why he visits his parents For Ace, he loves the smell of coffee and the smell of lit cigarettes Rory doesn't have super effective taste buds, so he doesn't have any favorite flavors. He likes the smell of weed though, and the scent of fire on wood. Jobie loves how each of the guys smell, and he has made that very apparent to them. As for flavors, he specifically likes mint tea

The boys do not have any pets Due to an incident in Aces youth in which he was asked to watch Genes Shepard dog, he cannot have pets. While Gene was on vacation, Ace had accidentally let the dog out. It was ran over purposefully by a group of bullies that often harassed Ace. The event still brings up guilt from Ace, and he still is awfully uncomfortable with the idea of them owning a dog or a pet.

1) Gene enjoys smaller tops, power bottoms, anything to do with cowboys, jeans, cock warming, thighs (specifically when his own are payed attention to) and long/slow rounds. Ace is very closed off about his kinks. The ones the boys know are nipple play and hair tugging. Because he is so new to the story, I am still toying with a few different ideas. Luckily, he would most likely never come into contact with the poly boys, but I'm currently playing with the idea that he comes into contact with Jareth He was originally a character made for the 90s, but I will likely be moving him back to the 70s.

A few things! I wanted to make a character that was blatantly and unapologetically evil, yet still was loved and adored for their looks. No charm or charisma whatsoever and openly awful. I was heavily inspired by the song 'OnlyALad'

1) Ace and Gene got their names from the band KISS Rory and Jobies names were made up on a whim 2) I made them into a poly relationship because I couldn't imagine Rory (who I made first) only being with one person. He had way too much love to give! It just felt natural to me :) 3) Rory is a hippie from the 70s! Shirts are for nerds! In all seriousness, Rory never wore a shirt while growing up, so wearing one now feels odd to him. He'll wear one if need be, but he much prefers life without one. 4) Jobie has undiagnosed and untreated psychosis. It rarely occurs in visual hallucinations. Rather, he has occasional auditory hallucinations. The main aspect of his psychosis is his very strong belief that he is a bridge to the future and the past. He believes the things he hears are from what has been or will possibly be, so he is a prophet of some kind. Does it make any sense? No. And it certainly makes no sense when he explains it. However, to him it is very real and very easy to understand. He is not violent or dangerous to be around. 5) Gene and his father (Rambo) have a very casual relationship. Gene is uncannily like his father. All of their mannerisms are exactly the same, and both are the 'one word man.' Much how Gene doesn't know much about his dad, his dad doesn't know much about him. Yet they get along just fine and enjoy their silent time together. Rambo knows of Gene and Ace's romance. He unfortunately saw a romantic altercation the two had in their late highschool years. He hasn't told Gene or Gene's mother, and never will. He's got the 'its none of my business' mind set. 6) at the time my story takes place, Gene and Ace were in highschool during Civil rights movements in the 60s. Being a person of color, Ace would not have been treated well in a dominantly white neighborhood and a dominantly white school. 7) I'm unsure! Samuel is a very new character and I'm still sorting him out 8) by luck! Elijah Hoffman (the owner of the modelling company and the OC to one of my friends) spotted him coming out of a car and demanded that Ace work for him. Ace has a difficult time telling people no, so now he's a model

Yes, they definitely do in their own way. Gene is very happy taking care of them, as 'acts of service' is his main way of showing love. However, he certainly has nights in which he shows fatigue. Ace is terrible with verbal communication, especially when exposing his own internal thoughts. So instead, to take care of Gene he'll spend quality time with him. This can be dying his hair, listening to him chat about what's happening in his current book, going on a walk with him, and so on. Rory will smoke with him (though Gene doesn't smoke weed often), and massage his shoulders while he's on the couch. He'll take care of him through physical affection, cuddling up on him whenever he gets the chance. Jobie has an incredibly difficult time taking care of others, though doesn't expect to be taken care of himself. He is very in his own head most of the time, and can get tunnel vision on something he's been thinking about. So his 'taking care of' is very subtle. It's likely he would leave Gene gifts. This can include something completely random and absurd that Jobie believes has a meaning, or real items like snacks, jewelry, clothing, books, and so on

Actually, he's very shy about them! :) He gets terribly embarrassed if they happen to find him modeling men's clothing in a magazine, or find him on a poster in a shop. He is not a well known model, but he hates seeing pictures of himself and especially hates when the others do.

Rory definitely enjoys hugs the most. He is incredibly affectionate with everyone he meets, and will wrap an arm around you even if he's only just met you. He gives the most hugs for sure. However, when it comes to the BEST hugs, Gene is the winner. If offered or asked, he will wrap his big arms around ya and give you a soft squeeze. He's warm by nature, and feels much softer than he looks. (Biddies!) He'll pat you on the back before pulling away, but only pulls away when you're ready. As for the other two, Ace appreciates hugs exclusively when he knows someone well, or has been asked. Jobie needs brief hugs, he doesn't like prolonged hugging or he begins to squirm.
