Good News/Bad News on Progress

Hello my friends and supporters! I bring you news and updates on the next chapter of the Court Magician that is due out next week.

Let's start with the bad news. Well, its really just bad news for me, rather than you all...good help is hard to find it seems as I have had two of my freelance animators have sent me really subpar animations after days of delays and hours wasted of my time working with them.

The work is so bad that I will have to completely scrap it and do it myself. I try to use freelance animators whenever possible, for simple/tedious animations, as it saves me a lot of time, but these two were both a dud. I will have to scrap their work and redo the animations entirely myself. It is unfortunate but I refuse to sacrifice quality even if I run this game at a financial loss.

The good news is, I plan on keeping the schedule as is and have no plans to delay the next update. Here is what we've been working on:

*New characters: Completed the linework on the second slave girl character she will probably not be animated in this next update, but I hope to include her portrait at least.

*Baron BJ scene: This scene is written and implemented except for the aforementioned animation which I will have to redo from scratch. I should be able to get it done in a day or two though.

*New dungeon: Greely's dungeon has been completely redone and is now implemented along with some new exciting secrets, including a renewable crystal resource.

*New Peeping: I don't want to give away too much, but there will now be multiple methods for peeping and scrying on NPCs.

*New Scenes: Greely can overhear the maid's discussing the Baroness' supposed attraction to him.

*More responsive: The Baroness will now voice her opinion more vigorously in the depravity training.

*LewdDrawing Quest: I'm working on completing the Lewd Drawing quest, but it requires some programming so I can't guarantee it will be completed by next update.

*New Song: added a new commissioned song to the discipline and ero scenes

On top of all of this, I have been collaborating with one of our awesome supporters who has generously provided some excellent ideas for new scenes with the handmaiden, market girl and the daughters. I'll be working on implementing these as well!
