Why is Pluto not considered to be a planet?

I'm sure most of us grew up with the knowledge that Pluto was our solar  system's ninth planet. So what changed about the definition? Astrum  Answers!

Why is Pluto not considered to be a planet?

I haven't! What's it about?

Alex McColgan

The definition of a planet is kind of: 1. big enough to be round like a ball (or almost). This size starts at about that of dwarf planet Ceres. or just below. 2. It circles around a sun (or brown dwarf or red dwarf). Can also be an elipse. 3. on it's way around the sun, there are no other objects like asteroids around. It is the third option that Pluto does not match.
