City of Cloister - Settlement Map

“As befits the heart of any great kingdom and a royal seat of power, Cloister is a huge city. Boosting a population of many thousands, all manner of folk can be found amongst its streets. Humans, dwarves and elves from all corners of Taritha frequent the twisting alleyways, whether seeking trade, employment or just to see the great metropolis in the flesh.

Cradled in between two large hills, Martyr's Mount in the north and Koran’s Rise to the south, Cloister straddles the mighty River Ira before it flows into the eastern sea.

Its many slate topped buildings forming a patchwork skyline of townhouses, tall tenements, manors and grand towers. The huge domed roof of the Great Temple of Iraldir rising above them all, matched in grandeur only by the Royal Palace of King Leofic.

From the bustling docks to the heaving markets, the great circus to the fighting arena, the royal foundry to the many beautiful temples, there is something for everyone in Cloister.”

Hi all!

It gives me great pleasure to present to you our fourth and final release for this month, the mighty City of Cloister. The capital of my own homebrew Kingdom of Haven, I have been working on this map for weeks and given it is the largest city I have ever drawn, that is hardly surprising!
