Manorstories progress and plans (Patreon Version)

Hello Patronettes and Patrons,

Today's post is the result of months of analysis and work. I'm very honored and pleased to share our latest progress and plans.

- Sylvia's final chapter

The image on title is the second artwork completed for Chapter 5 and will be seen in Sylvia's path.
Once again, a great team effort was made by BBCchan and LaLaBun. It's always a blessing to receive artworks from them.  Keep in mind that both have other projects than Sylvia, and they still succeed in fitting Sylvia into their schedule.

Speaking of Sylvia's 5th chapter, we planned 12 interactive artworks, not counting variations. This is the same amount as chapter 4

We want to deliver a well-deserved finale for each girl in the game.

- New UI work in progress

It's really time for us to rework our UI. While it works great, we think we should modernize it and offer new features.

Like the choice of transparency for the dialogue boxes, ability to name saves and sort/search them. We are also considering an AUTO mode going directly with the following line of dialogue when the previous is complete. These are just a few of the improvements we plan for our interface.

Here are some of our work in progress; a lot of those screens are going to change.

We must complete this work before going further with our steam page. The game Sylvia needs to have an attractive and yet functional UI.

- Improvements in previous chapters

Thanks to your feedback and our own analysis, we are improving the game and its story. Here are some of the main changes we are currently working on.

. Chapter 1 "More angles for some scenes and refined artworks"

The transition "6 months later" will be an interactive sequence with its own sexy artwork. From the story's point, it establishes the tender relationship growing between the MC and Sylvia. 

. Chapter 2 "Better way to tell Léa's story and her reason to fall for the MC"

All the sections about finding the swimsuit for Sylvia and the interaction with Léa needed a complete rewrite. This new version is designed to be clearer to figure out (playable without the playthrough).

The boat race is now a cinematic sequence and a way to tell the story in a much better way than forcing the player to go into an arcade minigame.

The hostesses for boat run and magic balloons will now merge into a new character. 

. The consequences of MC cheating on Valérie will be more developed

Previous chapters will integrate new or modified lines to support the story with Valérie. The 4th chapter will get additional art and scenes for it as well (considering the path you choose).

We took great care writing those changes and balancing the game. It's was a long and delicate process to write.

- Next steps and planning of Sylvia's development

Now've talked about the "what," let's talk about the "when." We split the work into two main phases.

Phase 1 (fall 2021):

- Prepare a new demo with all improvements up to the demo. This demo will be published in advance to Patrons  
- Publish Sylvia steam page, including the new demo, a trailer, and a better website (patreon is not the best experience to navigate into our previous content)

Phase 2 (winter 2021 - early 2022):

- Finish the work on chapter 5 (this done in parallel to the previous)
- Improve the second half for chapter 3 and 4  
- Publish Sylvia on steam and potentially other platforms later

* Thief

We are happy to announce "Thief," an ambitious audio story with a motion comic associated with it. The last line from our previous audio story soapland was a segway to it.

This story involves Rui Kisugi from Cat's eyes. LaLaBun did a fantastic job with the illustrations. She managed to render the beauty of Rui while being faithful to the anime style of the '80s and '90s.

ZeroDiamonds delivered a fantastic recording for Rui's line. However, finding THE voice actress to portrait Rui was a real challenge (I was particular about the role).

Jonathan Waters (voice of Sergei in Sylvia) made an excellent voice for Yann. I am always happy to hear Jonathan's recording. This actor is very talented.

Thief is planned to be published in July.

* Elizabeth's tales

This is a series of 3 audio stories combining comedy and sexy action. Elizabeth is Nu-Flash OCs. BBCchan and I love her, and we are happy to expand illustrations made with her with some nice and sexy audio.

Casting for Elizabeth is in progress.

* Last resort

As we reached 250 patrons last month, we will keep our promises for this goal. LaLaBun and I will be working on deveopping new episodes for this series.

* Next month, we will celebrate the 3rd year for patron requests

To celebrate the event, July's patron request won't have a cooldown. Check the previous list of events here 

* Commissions from artists

You gave such a warm welcome to Amadeen arts, and Sorje's that we decided to continue commissioning artists with our OC's or other anime fan arts. We plan to deliver one or two of those commissions per month for all patrons. 

Do not hesitate to suggest artists being open to commissions in the comments.
