Hollywood What If Chapter 527

"Man, you should take care of yourself. Taking those pills, even if they are prescribed by your doctors, is unhealthy if you consume them too much. Look at you now! You look like a fucking dead person."

Two people were talking in front of 7-Eleven at night, each holding a can of beer.

"Shut the fuck up. I didn't invite you here to talk about my circumstances. You said you have a cameo scene for me, so here I am. Is there a line I should remember or something, where's the script?"

"You're the one who asked for a cameo, not me. I just gave you one to keep you entertained."

"Thanks, I guess."

Suddenly, a group of shadows passed by, and a strong gust of wind almost pushed the two to the ground.

"Holy shit--!!"

"What was that!?"

The two were shocked as they looked at the dark street.

"Cut--!"

Everest announced it and the crew members started clapping their hands. They were praising their boss, who was Kazir. The director started this culture that he should have a cameo in every CCU movie.

This time, his cameo scene was with Heath Ledger. The two became friends after the filming of The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger once asked for a cameo scene in the CCU but he said it as a joke. But Kazir took it seriously and wrote a short conversation about their pills...

This was actually the first time Kazir talked about Heath Ledger about his health and addiction to pills directly. Most of the time, they talked about other stuff and they rarely talked about addiction.

This was Kazir's way of reminding the actor to stay away from overdosing. This way, Heath won't be offended since he thought they were just performing an act... Although Heath actually sensed something about the script but he went along with it. This was not an invasion of privacy if the purpose was for something good.

Anyway, with that, Kazir and Heath finished their scene. It's funny because Tom Cruise also asked for a cameo in CCU, but Heath Ledger got it first. In the case of Tom, Grey Pictures was afraid that the audience would be confused if he showed his face in the CCU. The audience might think that Mission: Impossible was now part of the CCU.

Now, that might be an interesting idea, but it is probably hard to do. In the first place, the relationship between Paramount and Grey Pictures became sour last year. Furthermore, Paramount would be desperate or crazy if they let go of a profitable franchise such as Mission: Impossible. God knows how much money Paramount made from Mission: Impossible.

'Sorry Tom, I'll play golf with you next time to make up for that.' Kazir thought to himself.

He glanced at Heath Ledger who was currently signing autographs for the crew members.

If you're working in a movie production, you have a lot of situations to ask for autographs. However, some actors and actresses had a clause in their contracts that asked for autographs on the set, which was not allowed, which was understandable, by the way. It seemed that Heath was comfortable with signing autographs.

'I did my part. At the end of the day, Heath is the one who can save himself. If he doesn't stop using pills, the outcome won't change... But it's the last week of January now and Heath is still alive. That should be good news.'

Heath Ledger died on January 22, which was five days ago. But now, Heath Ledger was standing a few meters away from Kazir, smiling at the crew members.

Kazir couldn't help but also smile. Not going to lie, he was also happy with what he accomplished. Perhaps his intervention created this change.

Heath Ledger was not paid for his cameo; it was only a 30-second scene anyway. This was just him having fun once in a while. Kazir promised that they would play Guitar Hero next time when they were both free.

......

...

January was over and February arrived. Some stuff happened around this time. Barack Obama was still going strong in his presidential campaign and it seemed that he had a lot of supporters.

Barack filed his candidacy last year and has become busy since then. Barack Obama's main political opponent for the Presidency was John McCain. A Vietnam Veteran and a War Prisoner(ChatGpt gave me this information.)

Since Kazir was from the future, the director knew that the winner of the 2008 election was Barack Obama. Obviously, Kazir and Grey Pictures kinda used that to his advantage. He supported Barack and even accepted some interviews and showed his obvious support for Barack.

As for his real opinion about Barack, well, only Kazir knew the answer.

As for what he experienced around the time Barack was the President, well, only Kazir knew the answer.

Did the economy become better? Was there peace? Did the people love Barack? Only the citizens of the United States could answer that.

Using politics to your advantage was never a bad thing. Tons of CEOs and Millionaires do that for their own benefit; Kazir was just ahead of them in that aspect.

Some people were against Kazir's opinion but they were not that deep enough to destroy the relationship... Not when Kazir had a high position in Hollywood and no one could touch him at this point... Except for that time when he was almost assassinated.

Days passed and Kazir continued filming Ninja Assassin. He also didn't care about politics.

However, one day, a huge breaking news happened and Kazir realized that life was not that simple. He was stunned as he witnessed how...
