"What the hell, Jennifer? What are you even thinking? Why do you think you have to suck a cock? Are you affected by your last movie role?"
Collin gulped his water as he almost coughed when Jennifer asked something stupid.
Working in this industry for years, Collin had an idea about what Jennifer was talking about.
Casting Couch.
Collin had been a model before changing career and he knew that some of the models had to have sex with the higher-ups just to get jobs. In fact, someone offered Collin a casting couch in exchange for him getting onto a fashion runway. But Collin had a girlfriend at that time and he also didn't have any intention of selling his soul in exchange for fame.
Just like his principle, he never forced his clients to participate in that kind of stuff. Unless his clients were the ones who wanted to, at that point, Collin couldn't stop from doing so. They were all consenting adults after all.
In this case, Collin had no plan of making Jennifer have sex with someone. It was against his principles.
"Collin, I've been in Hollywood for years now. I know that the only way for a nobody like me to have a big role is by offering my body. There are thousands of gorgeous actresses in Hollywood and I'm not special."
Jennifer chuckled, she found it fun that her agent was acting like someone innocent. Well, Jennifer was 4 years older than Collin so...
Yeah, Jennifer was 29 years old. Once she turned 30, her career as an actress would be tougher. Actresses had a short career run in Hollywood.
"Jennifer, I'm not that kind of person. You know that."
"Yeah, I know. So, what's the plan?"
Jennifer was still convinced that Collin had a huge job for her. Even a supporting character was hard to acquire in this industry.
"You know that I signed a contract with a rookie director five months ago. We decided to start a project and we need actors. I also want to talk to Axel later if he's interested."
"Of course, Axel will agree. This is an opportunity for us to be famous."
Axel Gunner was the third client that Colin handled. Collin East officially handled three clients: they were Wyatt Bray, Jennifer Sarandon, and Axel Gunner.
Actually, Collin had two more clients but the two decided to change agency, leaving Collin. It was understandable why, Collin was just a small agent after all.
"I thought your client was working with Director Esteban's movie? Why do you guys want to start a project immediately? Your client needs experience."
"I know, but we already receive an investment so there's no turning back anymore. Are you in?"
"Fuck yeah!" Jennifer laughed. At last, she could get a better role unlike most of the time where she had to take background extras with no lines at all.
At first, she thought Collin wanted her to sell herself, but it seemed that her client was still keeping his promise. She respects him for that.
"By the way, aren't you afraid that Director Esteban will be mad? I heard that the director has eccentric behavior; that's why his last assistant director left. Is that rumor real?"
"About that..." Collin bitterly smiled.
.........
......
...
"Get the fuck out of my set and never come back again."
An old man who had huge belly fat threw his cigarette in front of Wyatt. The cigarette landed close to Wyatt's feet.
"I gave you a chance to gain experience by working with me. I didn't expect that you would just disregard my goodwill, just like that. I swear, kids these days are too arrogant thinking that making movies is simple. Don't ever return again. If not for Henry, I might have asked you to pay the damages."
Henry Greyson was the producer of this movie and he was a friend of Collin.
Wyatt had his reasons why he returned to the set. First, he wanted to take his belongings to the locker. Second, he wanted to personally bid farewell to Director Esteban. Third, he wanted to thank the director for teaching him despite their short cooperation.
"Thanks for teaching me, I will make sure to never forget that."
"Kid, what did I say, leave the fuck out of my set. Sigh, I taught you because I want you to learn how to direct a movie, I want to hire you as my permanent assistant director. But you fucking betray me, now leave. I don't want to see you again. Kid, you need more experience before taking on a project. It's not about directing that makes it hard, it's the pressure. The fear that your movie will fail. That fear will slowly eat you."
"... Thank you, director. I will work hard."
It was obvious that the old fat man was mad, but still, Wyatt expressed his gratitude before leaving.
