Hollywood What If Chapter 475

Taken 3 was an amazing movie and almost all of the audience were affected by it. There was something about the movie that affected their hearts. Perhaps because they witnessed how people lost their loved ones. Perhaps because they realized the true danger of nuclear attack.

Taken 3 was the type of movie that Hollywood and the military loved to promote. Hollywood loved promoting anti-war propaganda. They didn't like war, like most of the people.

As for the military, they loved movies like Taken 3 because they could use it to stir the hearts of young men and convince them to join the military. It was a fact that when Top Gun was released in theaters, so many young men applied for the Air Force and other branches of the military.

They support Taken 3 wholeheartedly.

Some of the audience even cried when Kim, Bryan's daughter started losing herself when she realized that her mother was gone just like that.

Christopher Nolan, the director of Taken 3, did a great job of showing the humanistic side of the tragedy. He knew how to stir the hearts of the audience. Kazir didn't make a mistake in casting him as the director of Taken 3.

Despite the heavy hearts of the audience, they didn't leave despite the credits rolling on the screen. They were waiting for the post-credit scene.

Just as they expected, there was a last scene for them to savor.

[A month before the terrorist attack]

[Jason Bourne was gasping as he did his best to stop his wound from bleeding.]

In the last scene of The Bourne Supremacy, Jason was wounded as he escaped the pursuit of ex-members of Treadstone.

The audience didn't forget this fact because it left an impression on them when the movie ended. In fact, The Bourne Supremacy was released in 2002, and since then, Jason hasn't shown up in any movie as a cameo.

The fans were curious about what happened to the protagonist.

And now that Jason showed up in the post-credit scene of Taken 3, they realized that the movie was the next project of Grey Pictures.

The production of this movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, was already happening with around 30% in completion. The post-credit scene was actually filmed three years ago, and they just used it as hype.

Not only The Bourne Ultimatum, but also The Kingsman were in production. Kazir didn't have to attend most of the meeting because that was Stella Willow's job. He was just responsible for signing some documents and approving the projects.

Then, the suspense was no longer and the audience clapped again. This time, they were cheering louder as they left the theater.

On their way out, some of them were interviewed by the Cinemascore. A survey that determined the ratings of movies.

Most of the audience gave the movie A+ ratings. It showed that they had fun and fell in love with Taken 3.

Most of the movies that had A+ ratings had amazing box office performances.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

Rocky III

Die Hard

Lethal Weapon 2

Wanted

As of 2005, 51 movies had A+ ratings.

Cinemascore ratings were determined by the surveys of people's enjoyment of the films. It was different from Rotten Tomatoes, which focused more on movie reviews done by critics worldwide.

Based on this, Grey Pictures and 20th Century Fox didn't have to worry. Taken 3 was on the right track. Some people believed that the movie might reach around $700 million at the worldwide box office at least.

September 7, Wednesday. The opening day of Taken 3 grossed $58 million after the heavy promotion that Grey Pictures did.

The reputation that the movie achieved was so outstanding that the movies released in the same week lost their fuel.

On the second day, Thursday, September 8. The North American box office of Taken 3 went up to $80 million after making another $22 million at the box office.

Then the third day, the movie unsurprisingly surpassed $100 million. Taken 3 grossed $107 million in just three days of screening!

The influence it created in that short amount of time was massive. People started recommending the movie to others. Fans were so excited about it that they already watched the movie thrice in that short amount of time. Word of mouth was a terrifying power.

Word of mouth was a terrifying weapon especially if the movie was amazing. In this case, Taken 3 fits the criteria.

It was comparable to the hype of Wanted five years ago. So it was not a surprise that Taken 3 casually surpassed $100 million in that short amount of time.

This was an overused statement, but the Big Five regretted the fact that they failed to acquire Grey Pictures. They regretted the fact that they rejected Taken when it was offered to them by Kazir Grey himself.

A long time ago, Kazir Grey offered a joint production of Taken to the Big Six together with the promise of the so-called CCU. However, the Big Six rejected the offer because the concept that Kazir imagined was too hard for the Big Six to understand.

And now back to the present, they couldn't get any slices of this delicious cake.

Since Taken 3 was a success, its director, Christopher Nolan also became famous overnight.

Big studios started looking at the man's filmography and realized that Christopher Nolan was a promising director. He had a strong potential.

Studios started to recruit Christopher Nolan hoping that he could make another box office hit.

Kazir didn't have any problem if Christopher Nolan decided to work with other studios. He was trying to help Christopher build his career in Hollywood by letting him direct Taken 3... He felt bad stealing The Dark Knight Trilogy from him.
