What a month. Thank you for your patience. I just returned from Oregon, where I mourned the loss of my Grandfather, and comforted my Nana.
Not only that, but I meaningfully connected with family, held space for those that needed it, discovered things both joyous and depressing, started mending my broken relationship with Dad, and tested myself with an occasionally grueling hike (mostly because the rain made things slippery)!
I even got a few moments in the Rose Garden, as well as the Japanese Friendship Garden.

The header of this post is an outtake from Best's book photoshoot. We're still working on the production, but there is an additional wrinkle. To focus on his mental health, he's going back home to Colorado for awhile, with the aim to stay at a facility that will help him process traumas he has endured over the years.
We're not sure how long this could be, but potentially a few months or longer. The relationship is still strong, and even though it's hard to be apart, it's what *he* needs to heal. Both myself and his family are 100% supportive of this journey. We're just taking it a day at a time right now, but I would appreciate any caring vibes.

On to brighter news, I have the mysterious M returning to the studio this week, as well as a new, first time model named Steven! Sponsored by Patreon supporter Randall! Thank you so much for bringing him into the studio. I hope you are looking forward to new art soon, as well as a photo dump from my trip! Lots more of that to come...
Love,
Brandon
