Only one chapter this week, but I think it's a good one.

I actually wrote three chapters this week, but A) I think it's a better reading experience to have this one be the last chapter of a week and B) I think I'm going to start releasing chapters slower than I write them.

This will give me the chance to work more on other projects without an extreme amount of context switching, projects like How to Murder a Fox and Eat God. And I really like the idea of working on something I could finish whose publication might attract more attention to Shadow of the Soul King.

I hope everyone enjoys this week's chapter. And know we are nowhere close to Shadow of the Soul King's end. After the falling action of this arc, we will have the Forest Cauldron arc, the auction arc (which will end terribly after introducing many other new players in the story), and of course the Spirit Smith Inheritance arc. There of course will also be the second War of the Chosen at E rank, the D rank trial tower, and a big tournament at C rank. And these are just the parts of the story I already have planned. Aalam and Mila will then start having to deal with A ranks, gods, and other dimensions.
