Their censoring NSFW Games
Added 2025-07-25 14:23:02 +0000 UTCSo, for those who don't know, there is an Activist Group called Collective Shout pressuring credit card companies to make Steam and Itch.io remove NSFW-related content. Which, no surprise, would put my game projects at a serious risk.
Now, this recent censorship has garnered more attention, with some big YouTubers calling it out, and we have seen initiatives like Japan planning to fight back against this issue. But it still worth putting are part in fighting this as well, I am not sure if I'm allowed to post what you all can do to help, so I just ask that you all do some research on this and see about getting in touch with the credit card company and give them your opinion on this and look for petition you can sign.
