Happy Sixth (NSFW) Anniversary!

Celebrating my sixth anniversary as a body painter, by sharing one of my favorite self paintings! I've curated a set of both old and new photos! Most of these have not been seen before. This is my present to you, my friends and supporters. Please enjoy, and let me know your thoughts below!

I began this painting primarily using a self timer. This was before I had a nicer camera, and before I shot using RAW. Please forgive the lack of quality in this post.

Eventually I summoned a friend to help take photos of the process. I decided to use an old shirt about halfway through the painting to add some dramatic texture to the shoulders.

You can see that once I added the tie, it really completed the look, while keeping my middle section exposed and free of paint. Seth Powers often believes he was the first to debut the partially painted look (Peter Pan), but it actually happened with this painting.

The official photos had a lot of editing back then. Some of it I regret, but it was kind of playful and colorful, so I don't totally mind it.

This was also the first time I painted a motorcycle helmet! Did you know i used to ride one? A Kawasaki 500R actually! Speaking of which, let's explore that! My first two wheel vehicle was a scooter. My favorite scooter was my second one though, this beauty here:

I quickly outgrew the scooters and needed a motorcycle, so I acquired this!

The helmet sacrificed for the art was my old one, featured in this photo!

I think it was put to good use, by being featured in this art piece don't you think?

I hope you enjoyed this extensive look at the art, and where some of the pieces came from. Speaking of which, the shirt was something I wore in Highschool and was taking up space in my closet. I decided to sacrifice both the helmet and the shirt for this art piece.

Hope you think it was worth it! Thanks for your support friends!
